I definitely would not stay in this Travelodge again. There are people living in this motel. The lamp had black electrical tape on the cord ( not safe), and the chest of drawers broken....not the drawer, but the dresser itself. All night there were men talking outside our door. Filthy carpets, coffee maker left dirty, peeling paint, could not turn on heater for fear it would catch on fire, smoke alarm in nightstand drawer instead of on a wall or ceiling...breakfast was also an experiance...broken juice machine, not much on condiments that should be there...will not stay again.

For a budget minded traveller, this is a decent place to stay. Beds were clean, room was neat. Not super modern, but certainly a nice place to stay for the low price. Close to good food and great sports bars.

Possibly the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. The room smelled old and mildewed. There was a giant dead roach laying in the middle of the bathroom. The bed linens and blankets had huge stains on them and the mattress was horrible. The towels even smelled foul. My wife literally went to target and bought sheets and a blanket. The rooms was as expected. Best part about this hotel was the extremely courteous staff. Breakfast included waffles, pastries, cereal, juice and coffee. Something more would have been great, but the cheaper rates I'm sure don't allow for that. Missed not having a fridge.

I stayed in a luxury hotel in San Antonio just one week prior to my stay at Travel Lodge. Not only was that room CHEAPER but the entire experiece was much more enjoyable. The Travel lodge room was smelly, the beds were unconfortable and the room itself was in need of repair. I won't be back!

2 stay in a month, but pool was disgusting, with off white foam on top of murky water. Someone cleaning room, 2nd floor told me not to use pool, but front desk was not aware of situation...and did nothing to keep clients out of dirty water.

My room had a smell to it. I noticed the carpet was wet and I believe thats where the stench was coming from. I survived the stay, however I will seek lodging elsewhere when I return to the city again.

Overall, it was a fair price for clean sheets, and clean shower (nice shower head), which is all I needed. I attended a conference and needed to stay two nights at an affordable rate (I'm a student). I loved our stay! The TV was alittle small and the air conditioner made some noise, but it was a wonderful stay. We had two rooms, the other rooms air conditioner needed some repair. In our room the paper was coming off the wall...the trim.

This Hotel Suxs!!!! We got there for one nite as we went to San Marcos befire going to San Antonio for a Anniversary Trip!!!! As we drove up the hotel was ugly fountain was off. Needing a place to sleep we paid it. Got a better room. Thn morning came ck out n i told my husband wait a minute the guy chargef us $20know flat n gave us NO RECEIPT. Hes like yeah i know im gonna ask for receipt. Well he went in to checkout explain to FEMALE at counter. N she told him HE was NOT SUPPOSE TO CHARGE US ANYTHING N RETURN OUR $20 BACK!!!! Well they had a hot tub but it wasn't working. I asked them about it and they said it was a kiddy pool. So basicly the hot tub broke and instead of fixing it they just said it was now a kiddy pool. Said they had a hot tub and really could of used it after a long day driving.

This hotel was fine. Bed was comfortable and room clean and neat. Some updates but carpet outdated but clean. My hairdryer burned out at 5:30am and the front desk replaced it within minutes. Overall good hotel for the price and location I needed.

The room was very clean! The bed and pillows were very comfortable! I slept like a baby. Even though it's right off the highway, I didn't hear any of the traffic. Rooms are big and not crowded.
