      PERFECT LOCATION! Nice quiet area on the edge of Gamla Stan. AMAZING BREAKFAST EACH MORNING!!!! Sausage, Bacon, Scrambled Eggs, Crepes, juices, coffee, and also traditional European Breakfast (meat slices, breads, cheese, etc...) I loved eating breakfast by the windows looking out at the frozen bay and all the cool ships and buildings. I was however a tad disappointed I had a room facing a gangway... but, next time I'll be sure to ask for a better view room. I definitely felt I had a more unique stay in Stockholm here than in a traditional Sheraton or something, and really enjoyed the area it was in. I would definitely stay here again next time!!!! Yes, the rooms are small... but, you're staying in a piece of history, and you're really there to see Stockholm!!!

    if your ONLY looking for a bed, this is a great place. THIS IS A HOSTEL. Each room is seperated by a glass wall thats about 6'7ft or 200.66cm and its nothing after that. YES, if you stand on a bed you most likely can look over to the next room (im not saying people do it, im just letting you know that the walls do not go all the way up to the ceiling...). […] EXTREMELY quiet in the sleeping area, no windows, REALLY dark, with brick walls. Can definitely understand if someone said it was a little creepy. as stated, the sleeping area is ONLY good for sleeping. NO internet/cell phone service if your downstairs, like me. You have to come upstairs. But dont take this a bad, just honest. Overall, i liked the place but the initial quietness, darkness, etc might throw you off. Read more

Our room had a window to a quiet street; we noticed that not all hotel rooms have windows, but this is advertized as such on the hotel's website, so it was not a surprise. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and can recommend this hotel very much!

    You have to order specifically in text, and pay extra, for sheets when you book the room with this site. They still put sheets in your cell to pay for afterwards, probably because of earlier problems. The hotel is situated next to some of the best bakeries, restaurants and bars in Stockholm, so don't bother about breakfast. The reception clerk has only […] a few hours of service during office hours, but if you tell beforehand that you will be late they solve entrance and check in/out anyway. The personality and placing of the hostel plus the very nice reception clerk forgives all. I truly recommend an early morning walk before finding something to eat for breakfast. Summertime before six o'clock in the morning gives you an idea why people in this town really love their city. Read more

    For the price and location a tiny windowless room with shared bathroom was to be expected. The biggest drawback to this lodging are the other guests who often treated the common areas and shared bathrooms as their own, leaving dirty dishes on tables and shampoo and toothpaste in already cramped bathrooms.

    Simple hotel with simple rooms, but can't beat the location right in the heart of Old Town and an easy walk from the central station. Staff was so great and incredibly helpful. Do know that the reception kept limited hours, so you must arrange arrival if not between 9am and 5pm.

    We booked this "hotel" through Hotels.com, but when we arrived to check in, found it to be a hostel. It appeared dingy and dirty. The rooms are very small without windows and the bathrooms and showers are located down the hallway. There was also an up charge if you wanted towels and sheets for the bed.     Good location. U make your own bed. Double room is neat, but shower and bathroom is shared. The dorm has small rooms separated by glas-walls. Breakfeast is basic.(did not try the one u pay for) There is a fully equipted kitchen. The place is clean and tidy. More like a hostel than hotel. Enjoy!

    A great location, just a few blocks from the Royal Palace in central Stockholm. Superbly clean with a handy little kitchen and good bathroom facilities. The rooms in the cellar where I spent the night, although secure, are separated by thin partitions - and you can hear the slightest sound made by other guests in adjacent rooms... unless you use the […] earplugs which the hotel so thoughtfully provides.     Fantastic hotel. Quite an eccentric place, with rooms separated by walls which don't go completely to the ceiling. Some of the rooms are built below ground adjoining the old city wall, and for the price are fantastic. Lots of interesting people to talk to at breakfast and a thoroughly recommended place to stay right in the middle of Stockholm.

    Vi stannade 1 natt på detta hotel. Vi hade bokat ett rum och trodde att vi skulle få ett eget separat. Men de finns "egna" rum som ligger i samma med fem andra rum, du kan likana det som i bås bredvid varandra. Väldigt mysigt på ett sätt då de ligger insprängda under ringmuren, men väldigt lyhört då det bara är fyra glasväggar som skiljer varje rum […] ifrån varandra. Så man hör de andra sova, snarka m.m. Bra alternativ om man inte är på romantisk resa och vill va själva. Och det blir lite oväsen när folk ska på toa, öppnar dörrar m.m. Men annars ett väldigt bra alternativ som ligger superbra till.     Bara nöjd med vistelsen, Hade varit trevligt med en längre vistelse men det får bli nästa gång. Jättemysiga lokaler och nästa gång kanske jag till och med tar sovsalen eftersom den verkade jätte mysig och man kan ha mer privatliv än de vanliga traditionella sovsalarna.

    Our room was basic but clean and fresh - all we wanted was somewhere to rest our heads for the night. The owner was super friendly and helpful. We had free tea and coffee and toast, cheese and marmalade for breakfast, which suited us fine. We couldn't get our WiFi to work though, and the owner went home at 5 so there was nobody to help. Still, we survived […] without it. We'll definitely go back again another time. We were in the middle of Gamla Stan, and with the snow, the tiny boutique shops and the narrow streets it had a really special Christmassy feeling. Completely satisfied. Read more
