The staff were super helpful and friendly. Service was impeccable. The room was a little small but it was very clean, well designed, quiet, and comfortable. The bed was delicious and we slept like babies.

As usual, Red Roof Inn failed to disappoint me when I have looked for a balance between cost and decency of accommodation. Indeed, it is the best value for the buck and goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. I had to change my booking and then check out early due to personal reasons but the hotel didnt flinch but rather gave me (through Hotels.com) a full refund for unspent nights. Needless to say, I will prefer to stay here when I can.

We enjoyed the convenient location(right on the Endicott campus). Literally a short walk to the beach. Staff was helpful and friendly. Bed was listed as Queen size but it was actually a full size which was a bit small for the two of us. Otherwise, very enjoyable and would stay there again.

Our son goes to college close by and we would stay here again. Very clean, staff was very nice and the breakfast was a bonus. Easy to get to and plenty of places to eat close by.

Situated in the heart of Cambridge, Hotel Veritas is close to Harvard University Art Museums, Harvard University, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Also nearby are Boston University and Harvard Square.

"Hotel Veritas - Near Harvard. Some shortcomings"
Very nice. Appears to be recently updated. Very convenient to Harvard and Harvard Square. Lobby and rooms are clean and well decorated. However, we stayed in a Petite Queen room and it is not meant for more than 1 person. Advertised as 175 s.f. But that has to include the bathroom and closet. Bed takes up most of the room. Also, the subway runs under […] the hotel so don't stay on first floor. Service was 4-star but they don't have a bar or restaurant. Plenty available within 0.2 miles. Read more
Great hotel, perfect location- a very short walk to all the main points of Cambridge (Harvard Square, campus, etc.) I used earplugs at night, so the subway noise mentioned in other reviews did not bother me. The only complaint was the size of the room (#106) - it was tiny and dark (the window faced a wall across from us), but we did make a last minute-same […] day reservation (and got a nice discount), so should not complain too much. Plus, at this location, you would want to spend as much time outside as possible. Otherwise, the hotel feels very upscale; the condition and decor of the rooms and main areas is perfect. Complimentary coffee and juices are a big plus. There is no gym on the site, but they do give you passes for a small cute facility across the street (opens at 8am.) Bottom line - everything was great; the only qualifier is if I am paying full price, I'd make sure to ask for a bigger room and the one that is facing out, not the back wall of a building next door. The location of Veritas is great - between Harvard and Central Squares. Lots of restaurants, shops, and especially T-Stations. The room was SMALL. I had read previous reviews that stated the same so I was somewhat prepared, but they are definitely small - we could barely fit 2 people, 2 suitcases, and still walk around without bumping into eachother. "Great boutique hotel in Harvard Square"
I loved staying at this hotel. It has a relaxing lobby/bar area with fireplace, friendly and helpful staff (I should say, ultra friendly and helpful), comfortable rooms with soft, high-quality bedding, new fixtures and carpets (at least, they felt new). I would definitely return.
the hotel itself was beautiful. the room is also quite nice and the hotel coffee was the best hotel coffee i have ever had (and i travel quite a bit). my only complaint was being placed on the first floor. i was facing the back alley and could also, quite clearly, hear the trains going underneath the building. because the bed was comfortable -- the […] linens are outstanding -- i wasn't too bothered, but it is slightly annoying. i would recommend reserving ANY level BUT the first floor. also, i booked the "boutique" queen and when they say "boutique, they mean it. the room is not comfortable for more than one. i am a small(ish) person and i had a hard time walking around the room and once bumped the t.v., in front of the bed, because the clearing space is so small. but, overall, i highly recommend the hotel. so close to Harvard. it's basically less than a ten minute walk to L.A. Even the room was very tiny, VERY TINY, for the price and location it was an excellent experience. The staff is gracious...nice amenities like juice, water, coffee at no charge available 24/7 in the lobby.

Nice new hotel, in very good condition, and very convenient to Harvard Sq. and transport. Staff were friendly and helpful, gave me hints on how to avoid their $34 parking charge. Parking in Cambridge during the day is a real hassle, so you may have to pay their parking charge. Rooms are small, European style. We got a standard Queen room, but it was […] so small I asked the staff if we had got the Petite Queen by mistake. Not a problem if you don't plan to spend a lot of time in the room. We stayed in December, and found the heating worked a bit too well - could not get the temperature down enough for our preference. They don't have any food service, but plenty in the neighborhood. "A fantastic family vacation"
We are a family of 3 and used to live in Harvard Square. Hotel Veritas was at the PERFECT location for it's accessibility to the subway, stores and lots of restaurants! We have missed Cambridge so much, and staying in this hotel simply allowed us to re-create memories with the city and its people! We, along with our 2 friends who've never been to Boston, […] had a wonderful stay; 1) We loved the Nespresso station and all the complimentary cold drinks located beside the concierge! It sent the message that the hotel wanted it's guests to have the most comfortable experience. It was a very welcoming gesture to me that no price tag was spotted on any of the item provided. Thank you! 2) The hotel is CLEAN. We love how the housekeeper organized our room. Though small, because we liked the Petite Queen idea, it had everything that we needed to have a restful night. 3) Staffs were well-dressed, courteous and helpful. 4) I want to mention the framed & enlarged photos in the hallway; they seemed to all be about Cambridge, MA! The photos portraits a young man on a journey. 5) Even though we didn't have a chance to use it, each guest gets a free pass to exercise in the nice gym right across the hotel. 6) Both my husband and I raved about how they use the space. Even in a Petite Queen room, we were able to set up bedding on the carpet for our 3-year-old. No unnecessary furniture was found in the room, either! 7) We highly recommend Hotel Veritas! "No detail has lacked thought and care"
We had a lovely stay: very special and lovely decor, comfortable room and bed, rapid response to any need for help, great coffee and pastry in the am (with choice of latte, of course). Our room was very small, which would have been the only caveat to a long stay, but we'll be back.
We found the Veritas to be a delightful place. Except for the smallness of the room, it is perfect and we will stay there again on subsequent visits to Cambridge.

Overall hotel was amazing- staff friendly and helpful. Room was really small and through the room door you could hear everything( vacuuming, staff's walkie talkie very early in the morning, and slamming doors). Since our room was so small it was hard to sleep through early in the morning after a long day of travelling. I stayed at Hotel Veritas over Columbus Day weekend and couldn't have been happier! It was a short walk from the T in a wonderful neighborhood - just a few blocks from Harvard. The hotel was beautifully decorated and incredibly well-kept. The staff greeted us warmly whenever we returned to the hotel and offered us complimentary water, juice or coffee. The hotel is just outside the hustle and bustle of Harvard square, so a very easy walk but quiet at night - perfect combination! Beautiful lobby, very nice staff, lovely and well appointed rooms. My only complaint was the physical size of the room. While I understand that we reserved a "petit queen", for the price, I would have expected slightly more […] room than 2 feet on either side and bottom of the queen size bed. Great boutique hotel. friendly helpful staff. room was very clean and looked brand new. room size (queen) was adequate for my needs and the decor was very nice - does not feel generic. Super convenient to Harvard Square. only negative was the cost of parking - they charge double the rate of The Inn at Harvard.

"What it lacks in size it packs a punch with charm"
I absolutely loved my stay. From the moment I walked in my welcome was so friendly. The staff couldn't do enough to help me. My room was a little small but what it lacked in size it more than made up for in charm. The bathroom however was of good size. The location is brilliant for the near by university campus. It's located near to harvard t station. […] I was given passes to the gym 20 seconds across the road which was excellent. It had everthing needed for a good resistance and cardio workout. Overall I would not hesitate to recommend this friendly, charming and quirky hotel. It's very different from the large Boston hotels but that's what makes it a wee gem. Will definately go back The grafton street irish bar is fabulous also. Bar staff are full of chat and speak very highly of the hotel also. Read more
"Hotel verities, cambridge near harvard"
A small, intimate and very beautiful hotel. Very convenient for Harvard and the T stop on the red line with quick access to downtown attractions. Fabulous beds and bedding ( I'm very particular). Friendly relaxed atmosphere, very helpful staff. We were originally given a side room with a view of a brick wall which was dark but quiet. Staff were happy […] to relocate us to a street view which suited us much better. Coffee machine and juice etc. Always available in the lobby with Spanish pastries in the morning which can be an adequate breakfast but there are plenty great bars and restaurants within walking distance so no worries there. If you're a jogger you'll be in heaven with miles of riverside runs just across the road. Overall a lovely boutique style hotel in a great location. Read more

jättefint hotell med bästa läge nära Harvard. Tyvärr ingen frukost, med det finns gott om ställen runt omkring. Nära till tunnelbana in till stan. Bra och billiga viner som kan avnjutas i trivsamma rum. Gratis Internet med färgskrivare. Rummen ganska små, men väldigt ombonade och smakfulla.
