Very nice place to stay. The rooms are downright luxurious, and the whole place was nearly spotlessly clean. The gym isn't much to write home about, and the food in the restaurant wasn't great. That's a bummer, since the area around the hotel doesn't seem to have much to offer. The staff spoke very little English, but we managed to get by just fine. I would definitely stay there again.

Recently stayed here for 2 nights...staff is not particularly friendly, but they were efficient. Rooms were fairly large for an inexpensive Shanghai hotel. Rooms were clean and spartan. Walking distance to the "Bund". I would stay here again.

The Swissotel is a good hotel with an excellent location in the jing an area. However the rooms are small and the wireless Internet service is very very slow and unreliable.
Location.
Located in Shanghai (Pudong), Jinjiang Inn Shanghai Huamu is close to Century Park, Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, and Shanghai Children's Medical Center. Also nearby are Shanghai New International Expo Centre and Yuanshen Stadium.
Hotel Features.

Pudong epitomizes the new Shanghai. Built over the last 10 or so years, impressive skyscrapers dominate the area and include the Jinmao Building, which is the tallest in China. A trip to its summit yields tremendous views over the whole city. Pudong is predominantly a commercial center, with many financial institutions and trading houses calling it home.

No complaints about the hotel but when I showed them my Hotels.com-booking nobody from the staf seemed to know hotels.com and they wanted me to pay again knowing this is covered by hotels.com. Perhaps a communication problem, nobody spoke English. Finally it all came okay.
