The location, transportation and parking accommodations were great. The Pool and common area was a real addition to our stay. Great hot tubs and sauna. The staff was very accommodating as well.

This is the second time we have stayed at these condos. We will continue to use them while in WP

"Convient location but ...."
That's about it. Room was freezing when we arrived. Very cheesy '70's panneling with very thin worn blankets. Clean but worn appearance. Water is nice n hot... It's ok but don't expect much but the basics- no fridge .

Our recent stay in Grand Lake, Colorado was awesome. When we 1st pulled into the Lone Eagle Lodge, we were not very impressed, but that soon changed. The husband & wife staff were very friendly & accommodating, from making sure that we were happy with our room to our snowmobile rental. I would recommend staying here, & I plan on it myself the next time […] that I'm in the area. Oh, make sure that you check out the Blue Water Bakery for breakfast & the Sagebrush BBQ for dinner! "Great little motel-style lodge!"
I was pleasantly surprised by this little lodge. It's motel-style, with exterior doors to the rooms. My only complaints were that the rooms weren't well insulated from outside noise, and that the door lacked a deadbolt. However, the positives more than outweigh the negatives. The management was very helpful and friendly, the room was quite clean and […] spacious, the outdoor hot tub was clean and comfortable, the location was excellent (less than two blocks from the main downtown of Grand Lake), and the "look" of the hotel was new-ish wood logs with tasteful accent lighting. The motel was in a great location. Walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and lake. My only complaint is the bed way so uncomfortable. I think the mattress was really old. The room was really clean. No hangars to hang clothes and no blow dryer but other than that it was good.

Rustic hotel with limited but typical mountain lodge amenities. Clean, well maintained and friendly. Recomend eating at the Sagebrush Restaurant a few blocks away. Good breakfasts and excellent menu (Barbeque and burgers).

everything was great, the food, the people, the service, easy access to all, good information given, we decided we're coming back as often as possible. Nothing was too expensive either, just right.

"Needs some help"
The hotel had no coffee maker or even a little fridge or even a little microwave oven. If the rooms had these things I would have no problem recommending it.
