The rooms which overlook the pool have a nice aspect, so long as there are not screaming kids. Internet is charged through a provider.

Quite good except for: (1) Initially allocated & given the key to a room that was already occupied - quite an embarrassing experience (2) Basement carpark was like a labyrinth with no exit signage

Hubby and I were on the Gold Coast for 5 days, we stayed at Vibe, Raddison and the Crowne Plaza. We moved around due to rates and some trips so kept ending up back on the coast. Our last night was at the Crowne Plaza and we wished all of our nights were there. The hotel has been remodelled and has fantastic clean, spacious and modern rooms which is always principle concern for me. The location is a bit out of the heart of Surfers which is a good thing and the staff were very very helpful. Our room even had a view of the ocean from the bed and we didn't pay for an upgrade or anything. After being at 3 other hotels plus seeing inside a few others I can honestly say book here you won't be disappointed!

Stayed here with my husband and mum-in-law as Reflections was fully booked due to the SLS championship on that week. Komune is targeted at the younger crowd/backpackers yet we felt very welcome here. 2bdr apartment was very clean and the view was amazing. Location of the hotel is great as it's tucked in at the end of the main strip so quieter than being […] more central. Weekend nights in Coolangatta get busy and noisy - Komune have a party night in the bar area which can be heard from the rooms but is turned off around midnight. Overall, a great 2 night stay... Just unfortunate that upon checkout, the receptionist was very sarcastic and rude (we didn't know check out was 10am and turned up at 10:45am) which left a bad taste in our mouth. Read more

I had a great stay here~..only 2 rooms per floor made it really quiet. If you book during the pro surfing contests you will find there is a party every night.

A very comfortable apartment with all you need as a couple. Literally 50 meters from the beach and the main restaurant venues. Breakfast was simple but convenient when considering it was included in the price. The room had 2 balconies both with views of the beach and all you need for a weekend break.

We managed to get accommodation here after bad storms cancelled our flights home. We arrived feeling very stressed and not knowing what to expect, but this soon changed after we checked in. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We had a great room with terrific beach and ocean views. Our meal in the Playataco restaurant was awesome. This hotel is great as a place for an under 30 who likes dancing music etc. Staff are friendly and could not have been more helpful.5 1/2 stars to them all !I was disappointed with no daily room service.Perfect position for beach shops walks.

I had a great stay in room 81 which I shared with 4 other lovely young women. Although the bed room was a little stuffy when at full capacity (6) it was agreed that it was the perfect spot for us.
