Overall I enjoyed my stay at affordable suites and would stay there again the next time I Visit Greenville.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"nice place to stay"
I did not like the office has a sign on it that they close at 7:00p.m. and I arrived at 12:00 a.m. Also the tv in the bed room did not work; but other than that GREAT PLACE TO STAY.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Place But Mattress Smelled"
Everything was fine, given the low price, except the mattress smelled of sweaty b.o. Bedding was clean. Used cologne on the pillow to cover up smell.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean spacious no frills quiet neighborhood"
Not fancy, no frills, unadorned. Big room clean and comfortable. Think Iceland. Extra large rooms. Bring your own amenitiesGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Recently stayed for a night to attend ECU Parent weekend. Hotel room was very clean and adequate for one night and was relatively close to the campus - about 3 miles.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great value and close to ECU"
Very spacious and convenient. Full kitchen but no dishes, glasses, pots/pans, etc. Would be great if they could at least put in a coffee pot and some mugs.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"For the low budget traveler"
Very basic room maybe a one and a half star. though it had a sm. kitchenette you had to rent the coffee maker, toaster, pans etc. you get what you pay for when you go cheap.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A great "afforable"stay"
The location was convenient. The room was spacious and clean. Not plush, but very comfortable for the price. Staff is very courteous.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I arrived after desk hours but the desk clerk was available and very nice. I would recommend your hotel to other.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This can be nice if you plan to stay a while and if you can bring ALL of your supplies. The rooms are comfortable, the neighborhood is quiet and rural. But there are absolutely NO frills. The staff is not 24 hour, so you would have to notify them and arrange key pick up if your are coming in late. I never did get the cable internet running. Hassle for […] me because I am WiFi dependent. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"great for one to two nights"
The room was spacious and clean. There was a full kitchen and bath. They have tv, dvd player, couch, dinning table, dresser, night stand, alarm clock, closet, and comfortable queen bed. The only reason this would not be a good long term stay is the bathroom linen and bed linen. The bathroom linen was stained. The hotel only does laundry once a week. […] So, if you are used to being clean and using clean linen daily, you can either wash your linen in the provided laundry room daily, bring your own, or don't stay here. Also, they don't have 24hr front desk service. They do have a number to call if you need anything. The hotel is close to shopping and dinning. Overall the stay was okay. I would stay again for short term. anything longer than a weekend I would stay somewhere else. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"close to all the wedding functions we attended"
This was the 1st place I have ever stayed at that was really clean& the location was perfect.when we checked in we were upgraded to a king at no extra charge. The manager was very polite.I would highly recommend the hotel in the Greenville,NC area. The sink was a little slow draining, but other than that it was a perfect stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Best Over-All Deal in Greenville"
A suite for the same deal as a room, very clean, safe part of town, on site laundry room, full kitchen, living room with tv, bedroom with tv, free internet, easy check-in and check-out. I've stayed in Greenville NC on numerous occasions, this is where I'll stay from now on. They have nightly, weekly and monthly rates.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great room for the price!!"
The room was extremely clean! For the price I couldn't have asked for a better room! Had a full kitchen stocked with dishes and pans it was like home away from home! If anyone is looking for a place to stay in that area I would highly recommend this hotel!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"This one delivers!"
This is a simple straightforward hotel that delivers everything it promised. Very Spacious rooms, clean, comfy bed and even a kitchen. All this at a very competitive rate. Don, the owner I believe, helped us out when we came in late from a long exhausting road trip. That's a nice personal touch. The only thing my room could have used are some additional […] painting/pictures on the wall - it was kind of bare. Also, I did not pick up a Wi-Fi signal, but that could have been my fault. All in all - very much recommended! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Enjoyed my stay"
However the king size bed was not comfortable. Overall the sweet was very nice and clean. I would book again praying I get a different mattress!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Altogether a nice place for a couple of nights. Designed to be a long term option, but was great for the time we stayed there.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Home away from home"
Loved my stay at your hotel. Everything was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I loved the quiet and how the living area was seperate from the sleeping quarters. I had a beautiful week and will recommend this hotel to all my friends who travel around the Greenville area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable Hotel for Short Overnight Stay"
Affordable Suites in Greenville, NC was our third stop in our college visit road trip. This hotel's desk is not staffed 24/7, which is disclosed in the reservation information, so we called ahead to ask how to check in after hours. We arrived about an hour after the desk closed, and found our key waiting for us in a mailbox outside the hotel office. […] Our suite was perfect - a large bedroom with a queen bed, a good sized bath and a living room w/ kitchenette. Everything was in great shape. Since the desk wasn't open (and we couldn't ask for a restaurant recommendation), we used an ap on our phone to locate restaurants to choose from - Greenville isn't a large place, but the restaurants we found were not close to the hotel. We ate dinner at a campus pizza place, and breakfast at Starbucks the following morning. The desk was not supposed to be open when we were ready to check out the following morning, so we returned our keys to the mailbox outside the hotel office and headed to campus via Starbucks. "A great value"
Excellent place away from all the clutter but close to everything. Very clean and like new. If you come with the essentials, this is where you can feel safe and save your hard earned $Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Worth the money"
I reside in Washington DC, and I normally stay in 4 star hotels. But, if you do not need room service and a 24 hour concierge and the hustle, bustle, and beauty of a 4 star hotel's lobby . Then this is your place. Bring your own pots, pans, ect.and be prepared for and inexpensive but spacious stay in Greenville, NC.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very pleasent appearance. Clean room and affordable! I wouldn't think 2x about staying there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"The hotel in Greenville North Carolina"
I was really satisfied with the condition of the room. But there was no iron or ironing board available. Even though I gave it a good rating, that would make you really feel like home. Thank you for allowing me to purchase a room. And I will continue to make Affordable Suites my choice of hotels.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
OMG! the room was wonderful. Love the fact that it had a separate sitting room. Would definitely stay there againGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Great place and Fred the manager is wonderful worked with my schedule. Although the trip it self was disappointing our room was not. Stayed four days and it felt like home. Will be the place I stay when in Greenville. Highly recommend.
"A hidden gem..."
09/28/14 Sydney W Greenville, North Carolina
I was quite impressed with what I found in this hidden gem, right in the heart of Greenville North Carolina. During the process of relocating to the area, I stayed at this Affordable Suites off of Dansey Road several times. The property/resident manager Fred was extremely personable and more than accommodating. A diligent worker, Fred is on-sight 24 hours a day and was readily available at check in upon my late arrivals. The rooms were very clean, the kitchens well stocked, and I especially enjoyed the heat pump/central air so as to not have to constantly adjust the thermostat such as in the typical hotel room. You won't find a better deal than this. Down to the fine details such as a ceiling fan in the main sitting area, and an oven for baking, which is a rare find even in more elaborate extended stay hotels. The queen room offered adequate space for a long term stay, however the king rooms are quite large if you need the extra space and double closet space. I was very pleased with the size of the bathrooms as well. The towels were also more thick and plush than the average thin scratchy material I am accustomed to seeing in the typical extended stay suites. You won't be disappointed in this property, especially for the more than reasonable rate. Five stars to the manager Fred who helps to keep this Affordable Suites the best stay in Greenville!
"Always a favorite"

When ever possible we stay at Affordable Suites Greenville when visiting family in the area. The staff is always friendly and accommodating to our arrival schedule. The suite has everything we need for our visits of one to two weeks. The place has come to feel like" home away from home" whenever we are there. I would highly recommend Affordable Suites to anyone. The recent managemeant change, Don retired and Fred took over, has been seamless and the quality and service is still there.
"Stay here often"
08/22/14 Allen M Sarasota, Florida
We have stayed here for 5 to 14 days at a time, two to three times per year for the last five years to visit grandchildren (and their parents) who live in the Greenville area. It is a great extended stay place. Small apartments rather than large hotel rooms. The whole place has the feel of an apartment project, unlike most extended stay facilities. Very well maintained, and very quiet place to be. Best deal around in the area for extended stay.
"Best find in America!"
07/20/14 MickeyMouse185 Lumberton, North Carolina
Where else could you find a living room, kitchen, bath, and bedroom unit with two TVs for around $50 per night?! The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood and is run by a very helpful and friendly staff. Fred is the manager and he will do his best to accommodate you. We had to check in at 1 AM due to a death in the family. Fred told me to just wake him up when we got there. He also found another relative a room at the very last minute. The units are kept very clean and the guests are friendly and respectful of one another. We have had two extended stays here. We'll be going back soon for a third one. I highly recommend this place.
"Home away from home"

My family and I relocated to another state; however, I still had some time on my contract for work and I needed a place to stay. I found this quiet little gem that was close to my old job. This place has a great team that provides excellent customer service. The rooms and the grounds were very clean. If I need to return to Greenville for any reason, I will stay here!
"Hands Down, The Best In This Area"
06/23/14 D M Greenville, North Carolina
Our family relocated cross country to Greenville and stayed for a little over a month at ASOA, we had a wonderful experience! The manager and his team are friendly and professional. The outside lot and rooms were clean and there was no riff raff hanging about or loud music blaring. This is a perfect place for out of town guests and business people looking for apartment type living while in town.
"Best Place To Stay In Greenville"

You will not go wrong by planning an extended stay at Affordable Suites. Don, the manager is extremely nice and always there when you lock yourself out of your room. I stayed for 18 weeks, and I did lock myself out a few times. However, Don never got upset when I told him I needed to get a key to get back in my room. The rooms are cleaned weekly. The rooms look as good as advertised on the internet. I never had a restless night, the bed was comfortable and the other tenants were quiet. I really would have liked to take the mattress home with me. I already miss the bed. The room rates are reasonable, especially compared to some less desirable places in the area. I had to spend one night at a hotel near there and paid more for less. When I travel again, I will look for an Affordable Suite in the area. I hope my next stay will be as great as my last. Thanks Don for taking the time to talk to me. Thanks Cynthia for keeping my room clean with fresh linen and towels. Thanks for the free Sunday newspaper. Merry Christmas, Dot

We relocated to Greenville and stayed for 2 months at the Affordable Suites. Don was great from the first day to the last. He went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. The place was very clean and quiet. When you look at the pictures on the website the rooms look exactly the same, which doesn't happen all the time. The cable doesn't give you a lot of selections and the internet isn't wireless. However, I would recommend this place to anyone coming to Greenville. We had a wonderful experience. James & Shirley

I stayed at this place for 10 months and had a great experience.Don,the manager on site was a warm and friendly person, full of laughs and a great sports fan.He takes care of his customers, the place was modern and clean, and there was hardly any loud noise. It felt like an apartment, except without the lease.Cable was provided,a full size refrigerator,2 burner stove, and an outdoor grill.Location could have been more centrally located, but that's a minor issue. One last thing,Don went out of his way to drive me to the airport in town when I found out I had a death in the family and had to fly home, which saved me money from parking my car at the airport. So if you're on a short term or long term stay, and you want a nice place to lay your head at night without leasing an apartment, this is a great place to stay.He doesn't get a lot of business for nothing.
