Kids loved the free cookies at happy hour & we appreciated the wine & beer. There's a Starbucks, pizza & taco place in the shared parking lot, which was really convenient. Complimentary breakfast was better than anticipated - nothing gourmet but sufficient for a family with small kids. Rooms are spacious & we'll equipped.

We could not ask for a better hotel for our overnight stay. It was easy to get to and we were able to walk to dinner that night. Overall, we were happy with our visit. The room was clean, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful with check-in. If I had to recommend an improvement was on how to deal with unruly guests. Unfortunately, our room was next to a pair of rooms (across the hall from one another). They folded the little door lock device to prevent the doors from closing […] all the way, and just kept going between the rooms, allowing the doors to slam against the hoop loud enough to keep my kids from falling asleep. Since it was a group of 10 college aged boys, I chose not to talk to them myself - however after calling the front desk to complain and ask her to call the rooms to ask them to be more courteous (it was 11pm at this point), she did call them but they seemed to get retaliatory. Upon further discussions, the lady at the front desk said that she would have been more aggressive if I would have actually come downstairs to the front desk to lodge my complaint - at 11pm, after I was in my pajamas. We went for Memorial Day weekend, to take the children on a mini vacation to Legoland. Though I thought it was a bit closer to Legoland, the area was very peaceful and conveniently located near stores and restaurants. Room was very comfortable. Bed is soft. Bedding is very clean. Towels a little rough. Bathrooms and kitchen are clean. I gave a rating of four bc u have to stay there for at least seven days to get housekeeping done to your room for free...otherwise it's $40. Location is very convenient. The staff was very good. Our only complaint was the sofabed. Only a child could sleep on the thin, very uncomfortable mattress. Would stay here again.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel. It is a couple of miles off of the 78, as well as from Legoland, but it was a nice hotel, with a mini kitchen. I would definitely stay here again. Oh, and there's a Starbucks in the parking lot! Perfect for all those travellers who need their morning coffee from something other than the continental breakfast pot.

The two bedroom suite is very nice, but the staff did not give us extra blankets for the fold out couch. I booked a week ahead of time and requested a crib both through Expedia and by a direct phone call to the hotel. Expedia assured me we would get a crib, but the hotel would not commit and said it was by availability. When we checked in I asked about […] the crib and the desk clerk said it would be in the room. No crib was in the room and so I asked again and he said he would have staff look for one. No crib. I asked if he could borrow one from another hotel his answer was "We don't work with other hotels." He did offer a fold-out bed, but that just does not help with a toddler. My poor daughter had to try to sleep with a tossing and turning 17-month old! Clueless basic "not our policy" response not worthy of the Marriott name. I am writing a letter to Marriott corporate headquarters. The hotel is way away from restaurants in the middle of nowhere. What a great hotel! I love being greeted with a smile and all the staff members I encountered had one on their face...even very late in the evening and early morning. Stayed in a 2BR unit, each room had it's own temperature control and the rooms were quiet and the beds were comfy!

First, we love the Marriott for the comfortable beds, pillows and linnens! Second, for the value to price, meaning the best for the money spent. Third, we love the ease of check in, and the huge, ice cold lemon water waiting right there next to the smiling desk clerk. We requested the third floor based on another review we read on a different site regaurding […] the noise from folks walking over head, and so, as this is a three storied hotel, we asked and received a third floor room. We were delighted to find our room completely situated with a full kitchenette. Stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, with all cooking and dinnerware items you could want while traveling. Did I mention they had a full sized fridge too? Lots of closet space, with an iron and ironing board. Free wi-fi with no problems; lots of outlets on the desktop for camera and phone chargers. A small couch with an ottoman that had a nifty curved desk cover that came in very handy so that we could both have desk space. A 40" flat screen t.v. with a list of channels found in a drawer was helpful for keeping up with the news. Our bathroom was stocked with thick, white linnens and toiletries. The bed was devine, almost wish we didn't have to wake up. The room has a digital themostat you can control. The room was everything you could want, even for an extended stay. The only negative was the morning breakfast area. We recommend, if the dining area is crowded, just take your food back upstairs. Read more

The room was very clean & tidy. The studio was nicely equipped with basic necessities. The refrigerator, for example, came in handy with the left over food from the Mexican restaurant that we ate at. The hotel was good. Close to Legoland but not much else. The beds we not that great. The breakfast consists of cerials and microwave suasage and egg sandwiches. The room had a full kitchen with plates utinsels, full frig and small stove. This was a great economic plus.

We checked in just after midnight with a car full of cranky kids from the drive. They had fresh cookies and drinks in the lobby. Despite all the frustration of two carloads of kids checking in at different times the middle of the night the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We rented 2 two bedrooms units. The rooms (mini apartments) are small […] but very functional. We contemplated the idea of bring a blow up mattress so the kids would not be in the same bed. That was a no go only on single could fit not a queen. The fold out sofa is kid comfortable not for adults and about a full size. The actual bedroom where small but comfortable with a flat screen TV in each room, queen size beds, MP3 ready alarm clocks, and the great room area. The kitchen is small but very functional limited utensils and a compact stove with four burners and oven with cookie sheet. The refrigerator has ice trays no icemaker. No cake pans just a heads up. The pool was a hit with the kids not very deep at all maybe four feet. Breakfast was very dull. I expected a waffle maker or some thing. It consisted of packets of oatmeal frozen breakfast sandwiches. The fruit was fresh and juice was good. Starbucks is located across the parking lot. The hotel location is about 20-30 minutes from the Wild Animal Park depending on traffic. Grocery store is about 10 minutes away on the same street. The location was very safe with hiking trails and a park less than 5 min away. Read more

This hotel went far beyond our expectations, with friendly service, amazing suites for the price, new and aesthetically pleasing rooms and a high standard of cleanliness.
