The hotel itself was great; the beach and swimming pool very nice. Everything was very clean. However, the food was not that great, especially on certain days; certainly not the 5-star standard one would expect in a European or North American hotel. However, for a Tunisian all-inclusive hotel, this was very good.

We stayed for a week commencing 24th April in a sea view suite, the second time this year. We stayed in the suite to help accommodate 2 adults & 2 children. The hotel's main attraction is good food, service and room size and cleanliness. The food is buffet style, but excellent salads and a decent variety of meals (some freshly cooked as you wait) […] mean that you can eat different food every night. The bar staff are attentive and quick to bring drinks, good beer and choice of cocktails etc. The room we stayed in has 2 balconies a huge bed in a big bedroom, next to a lounge area with fold out bed. All kept clean with modern furniture and equipment. Beyond that, It's right on a sandy beach, which does look as if it is cleaned regularly. There is a spa area (excellent massages) and a heated (in off season) indoor pool. The outdoor pool is in 3 big sections. Sunbeds in April easy to come by, but i can imagine there being more of an issue in July/August. Only small criticisms Outdoor pool - One of Tunisia's main natural resources (the sun) and the solar power generated couldn't be used to heat the outdoor pool, which was really cold (18 degrees on most days) which means for young children you have to use the indoor pool. Childrens club - 2nd time we have been and not much this time round in the way of keeping them occupied - either closed or when open, the lady running it really wasn't that interested in getting children up and active (unlike the other animation team members who tried really hard to get adults active! The site sits right next to another old unused holiday camp - which looks a bit of an eyesore and spoils the view a bit. Overall very good value. Rooms are top quality, but definitely worth paying for the sea view as the other side is a busy street. Food is so-so, often a bit dull and tasteless due to the high proportion of older German customers who don't eat spicy food. It's dull in the evenings so anyone looking for nightlife would have to get a taxi into town, not […] sure what that's like as we didn't(baby in tow). The barstaff don't have a clue how to make cocktails so don't bother drinking them. However the man who does the smoking room does know! No professional babysitting service available. Outdoor pools are lovely but very cold, the sea was warmer for swimming. Indoor pool warm and pleasant for slothing around. Beach is cleaned by the hotel and is good, but the town could do with organising a beach cleaning operation as you will see if you walk in either direction. The spa thingy is good if you like that sort of thing(like my wife) I can rub seaweed on myself at the beach for free so it doesn't interest me. Internet so slow a waste of time and not wifi. Ezcellent rooms and very varied meals made this a holiday beyond our ezpectations. We visited during winter and cannot therefore comment on the pools.. A beautiful newly built hotel. Clean, well decorated and furnished. Nice views of beach/sea. Very good value rooms. But aircon/heating did not work at all in my room. Plumbing does not drain properly. Indoor pool has no lights, no heating, no changing rooms or toilets. There is an open shower but it involves a public shower and walking back through […] the hotel lobby in a towel to your room to get dressed. We had half board. Breakfast was good, but dinner on all of the 3 nights was awful. Food often inedible - appalling quality meats, and highly spiced. Would be better not to eat here at all. This is a package holiday destination for German tourists - signs in German, staff spoke german not french or other languages. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour de 15 jours et nous en sommes revenus enchantés même si nous n'avons pas pu utiliser les très belles piscines du fait de la météo. Mais il y a heureusement pour les inconditionnels de la baignade une piscine couverte et chauffée.

Proche de la médina (15 min à pied) et directement sur une plage magnifique, cet hotel nous a tout d'abord charmé par son architecture et son magnifique hall d'entrée : une belle cathédrale andalou-arabe avec de superbes plafonds. Notre chambre avec vue mer (indispensable, sinon elle donne sur la rue très bruyante...) était magnifique, spacieuse, avec […] un grand lit, un canapé, un petit bureau, un guéridon et un fauteuil. Le tout en parfait état de propreté. Le restau : tout était bon, aucune fausse note, service efficace, discret et sympathique, des mes de qualité, riches en goût et en saveurs, admirablement cuisinés par de vrais chefs devant vous pur certains, bien variés tous les jours avec un large choix de plats typiques correctement épicés. Bref, par rapport à la majorité des hotels en Tunisie, il est très largement au-dessus. La palme au patissier qui nous a fait prendre qq kilos de bonheur. Il y a bien longtemps que nous n'avions pas mangé de patisseries aussi délicieuses, à la fois légères et gouteuses, belles et appétissantes. Bravo. Petit bémol : lors de notre séjour, quelques travaux avaient lieu pour finir l'hotel qui n'est pas complètement terminé. Un peu de bruit donc. Read more
