We made a last-minute booking at the Auberge de Cassagne in the midst of an arduous three-week business trip. We both needed to unwind a bit, and the on-premise Spa provided great opportunities for that. We had initially booked a conventional double room, but perhaps since it was the off-season, we were upgraded to a Junior Suite upon arrival. The staff was charming and accomodating, with great suggestions for activities and indulgences during our stay. Highly recommended!

Great location, very nice staff and lovely room. The hotel is well located. Treat your self and get a room with a view of the valley. The room has french windows that give you a great view. The hotel has a very good resteraunt (not opened every night) a nice bar and serves a very good breakfast.

While this hotel is a few km outside of Nimes downtown, it was easy enough to get there, but does require a car. The staff were very friendly, helpful and available. The breakfast, at 10 EUR, may have been a little overpriced (tea/coffee, juice, bread, some cheese and a salami), but was still quite nice. The shower had a hand-held wand with no way to attach, so this was less then desirable. Still, the location was good, and staff great, and we would stay there again.

"Le Mas Saint-Florent. A home from home"
Le Mas Saint-Florent feels like a home from home. Gilbert and Laurent are perfect hosts and dogs, ducks, hens and chicks add to the whole atmosphere of a country retreat. Rooms are very spacious but don't expect all mod cons. Breakfasts are absolutely superb and do sample Gilbert's home cooking of an evening. One word of warning - if you are relying […] on public transport, taxis are thin on the ground in Arles at all times of the day and disappear completely after 10pm.
