We arrived close to reception desk closing time due to a long drive on the Great Ocean Road. The manager had taken care to email us to ensure we knew... when they closed, and offered a phone number to call if we were going to be late. We were not sure if we would make it on time, so we called and he assured us that we were making good progress, and suggested the best route. We received a warm welcome on our arrival, a comfortable room and very helpful directions on the best route to take the next morning. A word of caution - there is a major road construction project under way and your GPS may send you on a route that is currently closed. Owner David very helpful. Family room had comfy beds, microwave, fridge, aircon and a good supply of toiletries in the showerroom. The motel was well situated for my needs. Would stay there again.

exceptional, having to travel on a budget it was a real surprise to see the condition and quality of the room. it was immaculate. most budget places have horrible rooms, that are never cleaned properly. the hume villa must really take pride in their housekeeping, i could not complain about anything there, it was a lovely surprise
