Was really upset to hear the pool playground was closed when I got there. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but the suites have very little natural daylight so we felt like we were in a box. the surrounding area is blah - I would stay closer to RT30 next time.

My fiance and I were very impressed with this hotel. The jaccuzi was awesome and the view from looking into the atrium area was gorgeous. The hotel location was very convienent to area attractions. And might we add, we LOVE LOVE the warm complimentary cookies when you check in, which we were able to check in early....a major plus in my book!!!

Only complaint I had was that the shower curtain in my room (4017) had a sour odor, which mentioned on the survey card. Otherwise, it was clean and comfortable, the water park for the children and the pool were great. The staff was friendly, courteous, and attentive. I would definitely stay there again if I visit Lancaster, Pa.

The best part of this hotel is the pool area. Kids play pool with sprinklers and slides and a separate large pool for swimming, all indoors so usable any time of year. Located near the sight & sound theater

Love the scenery of the area. The location was great, away from the main highway, Lincoln Hwy., but only a short drive away. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. One of the better hotels in the Lancaster area. It's a bit off the beaten path, but much better than the hotels on the main strip. My son and I enjoyed the golf course connected to it. It's short, but good for kids or beginner golfers, and a good value.

Hotel is excellent as always. No issues with hotel, service, pools, etc. My only issue is the preschoolers screaming at 6:30 in the morning and banging on the walls. Not the hotels fault. Parents, kindly remember we don't all have smaller children. Control your kids so that they aren't waking up the rooms around you at the crack of dawn. They weren't […] babies (I understand you can't necessarily make a baby stop crying on command) and it's rude. I don't let my kids act up at 10 pm and wake your kids. Very nice hotel, but note that they do not provide free WiFi. You have to go to the lobby to get free WiFi. While this did not bother me, my friend was very upset by this. window to the room was on the inside of the hotel that overlooked an inside coutyard. disco on the 1st night, nagic show going on he second. difficult to get 1 year old to sleep. food at the restaurant not the greatest. howver kiddie pool was fantastic, room was clean, hotel well taken care of.

We brought our grandkids to Sight and Sound afternoon show of Jonah and the Whale--incredible Christmas gift..they were talking about it for days. The hotel and fun pools were a delightful end of the evening. The warm cookies and great coffee makers were enjoyed too.

There are always lots of children here and sometimes you can hear them through the walls and in the hallways. The heating and ventilation systems are noisy. Otherwise a nice stay. Great cookies. Lovely pool and hot tub, actually hot!

I went to this hotel with my 5-yr old son. The hotel is terribly designed: think about an upright cylinder. The ballroom is in the ground floor at the center and all rooms in the inside ring have a balcony overlooking it. What's worse, there are rooms on the ground floor whose insides can be seen from the ballroom unless - of course - the guest draws […] the curtains. We checked in on Thanksgiving Day and asked the reception how frequenty celebrations are held. "Not that often" he said, "Thanksgiving, Mothers' Day and New Year's Day." He didn't tell us about the wedding celebration the night after. My son had difficulty sleeping and the hotel didn't even apologize... The receptionist said "in our defense, sir, you didn't tell us there wouod be a child staying. We try not to give these rooms to children." : dramacomical... I'm not sure if this is a hotel with a ballroom or a ballroom with few rooms to rent... I would never go here again... Read more

Hurricane Sandy - I evacuated here with my elderly father. The accomodations were super. The staff could not have been nicer to us or other evacuees. The best part of this hotel is the swimming \water play area. It was well kept, and clean. Our room was cramped and uncomfortable (AC doesn't work very effectively). The bonus is the loud wedding music that permeated our room until 10:00 pm. When I called the front desk, to ask how long we would need to endure it she was not at all apologetic, did not […] try to assist us in any way, she just was generally irritated. I am guessing I wasn't the only one who called. But, the music was very loud, to the point of not being able to watch tv, or have a reasonable conversation, and it lasted more than 3 hours. It seems weddings are the main deal- it takes precedence to all other guests needs. We are farmers from a rural area, and while we don't dress fancy, my husband and I have successful careers with salaries in the six figures. But, we were treated by the staff in a very snobbish manner, as if they were somehow better than us. I am not better than them because my salary is more than theirs, but it is extremely rude to treat people differently because they are wearing jeans and t-shirts, while they fell all over themselves to help the dressed up customers. I would never, under any circumstances, stay at this hotel again. Kindness and consideration should be given to all customers. Read more

Great pool area for the kids. After reading other reviews, I Was concerned they had weddings all weekend but noise was never an issue. I stayed on the 2nd floor facing the gold course. From what I was told, ask for a room that does not face the interior ballroom. My only complaint was the carpet was pretty stained in the rooms.
