"Hotel is very convenient to the town of Ravello."
Plenty of restaurants nearby. Town is charming and beautiful. We visited Ravello, Catania, and Taromina, Sicily on this trip. Ravello easily the most beautiful.Genuine Expedia guest review
Well located in historic center with parking. Rooms had mini-balconies and great views. Extensive breakfast buffet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"great location, would like to have stayed longer"
the desk staff were fantastic, let us leave our car there for two days while we went to Capri. Had planned on driving but realized just how bad the drive would be! We were in Italy for three weeks and this was by far one of our favorite placesGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Overall good value for money relative to prestige of Ravello. Friendly and polite staff. Poolside experience has a family feel without being pretentious. We will consider returning one day. Thank you.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Lovely hotel close to the square"
A lovely hotel, with a quiet pool (families with young children should be aware that inflatables are not allowed in the pool) and gorgeous views. Very close and convenient for making the most of Ravello. Highly recommended. We had a lovely stay and hope to return.Genuine Expedia guest review
This is a lovely hotel in a fabulous location. It could do with updating but the staff were very friendly and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is very pretty with superb surroundings. Ravello is a great base. The staff couldn't be better. Drinks were reasonable. Expedia has it as a 4 star although their website says 3. I would say it's a 3.5. We both said we would stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"A lovely hotel"
Gorgeous gardens and pool and perfectly located. Staff extremely helpful. A delightful place to stay in ravelloGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was in a fantastic location right off the main square. The hotel decor was a little dated, but the pool area more than made up for this.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Lovely hotel and setting. But tried to charge again when checking out although already paid. Tried to Charge for non existent mini bar and be ware the " tourist tax" at check out when pricing up options. Great locationGenuine Expedia guest review
"Excellent quiet hotel in central location"
We stayed in the Giordano for three nights of six day stay on the Amalfi coast and wished we had stayed for more. The hotel was mid sized and had all the facilities we wanted. It doesn't have its own restaurant which for us didn't matter as we were out all day and enjoy trying different restaurants at night. The rooms were very adequate and have well […] equipped and thought out bathrooms. There is a lovely swimming pool - very welcome at the end of a day's sightseeing. "lovely central hotel, excellent facilities."
Rm 43 was quite small and twin beds very close. Apart from that it was a great place to stay, was very close to central square and had a lovely pool. Staff very efficient and very pleasant.LovelyGenuine Expedia guest review
"Restful,friendly, we shall return"
Very friendly & helpful staff. Excellent although as we eat out we cannot comment on their food but their sister hotel, hotel Maria provided the best meal we had in RavelloGenuine Expedia guest review
"Family friendly hotel in the middle of Ravello."
A comfortable chair in bedroom would have been a pleasure for afternoons. Menu at poolside was disappointing. More fresh vegetables, pasta dishes and salad were short in supply. I was pleased and grateful the hotel noted my original request when I booked that I could have a room with a view over the pool. Thank you for this.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good middle of the range hotel"
Great location. Nice quaint hotel. Breakfast not great, though area is so amazing that there were so many other nice places to eat throughout the day. Have recommended to others, though if I were to go again I would stay in one of the 5star venues as they look amazing and there is a big gap in quality between a 4 star and a 5 star hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Swimming Pool with Stunning Views"
A charming hotel situated in a fantastic situation. Lovely swimming pool and breakfast but bathroom a little dated and the beds are very hard! Excellent for a short stay.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great short stay hotel"
Enjoyed my stay, reception staff very helpful. Just one complaint I was there as part of a wedding party which included an elderly lady who could only walk short distances with a stick. Considering the Villa Eva is part of your group the cost of 110 euros to get this lady from the main hotel to the reception and back by way of a pretty primitive transport […] was very expensive and very poor. "Beautiful location, lovely hotel"
This was a lovely hotel in a perfect location. Minutes walk from the town and within an hours drive of the mainstream Amalfi Coast towns or towards the historical volcano sites. The pool was beautiful and the breakfast was great with a good range on offer. We went for a room for three (so that our 6 year old could stay in with us) and there was still […] perfectly sufficient space with her bed being set up in what I'm guessing is usually a dressing area. "A confortable hotel in Ravello"
Nice hotel. The room was not very large, but confortable. The furniture was in the old traditional style of southern Italy and the room was decorated with colourful ceramic tiles, but the bathroom furniture was not at the same level (plastic framed mirror,Ikea-style). The price of the room was not cheap, but it included the car parking and the breakfast […] (which was decent, but not very abundant). A large swimming pool bordered with magnolia trees and other plants was ideal for relax. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Schönes Hotel mitten in Ravello"

"Great stay, AMAZING cooking class"
10/14/14 Chelsea S Montreal, Canada
We stayed for 2 nights for our honeymoon in a double superior room, and were very pleased with the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the views from the balcony were spectacular, the pool was very large and had gorgeous views, the breakfast was outstanding, and the food at the restaurant at the pool for lunch was delicious as well. Our only complaint was that the bed was extremely hard, but everything else was amazing. Ravello is a very nice, quiet city on the Amalfi Coast. We really enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend it to other couples looking for a romantic getaway. The hikes down the Minori were really nice. We participated in the cooking class at Giordano's sister hotel, Villa Maria. It was INCREDIBLE and the highlight of our entire honeymoon. Chef Vincenzo was patient, creative, friendly, and fun. The organic vegetable garden that all of the ingredients came from was unbelievable to visit and we thoroughly enjoyed the cooking class. It is a MUST DO for anyone visiting Ravello!

After a very fraught car journey from Naples ,with a delayed flight, faulty sat nav and a large land slip across the road on the mountaitain pass, we finally made it to Girodano at 30 minutes past midnight. The staff were very accommodating even at this hour and set the tone for our week in Ravello. Our room , 45, looked over the mountains and had its own balcony which caught the late afternoon sun. All the hotel staff were very attentive and helpful. There was an excellent selection for breakfast which was taken around the pool. The hotel has no restaurant but meals can be taken at the sister hotel Via Maria or in the many local restaurants in the town. The location of the hotel is close to the main square but are not disturbed by the visitors to Ravello. Whilst it may not have a sea view the pool more than makes up for it. Yes I would recommend Girodano for any looking for a quiet hotel with good service in a wonderful setting

This is a very nice hotel situated not far from the Piazza and within wasy walking distance from the hub of Ravello well placed for restaurants and waks around the area. It has charming al gardens on the approach which plays serene music piped through at a low and uninquisitive volume as you approach the entrance. Ravello is THE place in Campania for showcase music festivals featuring classics and quality performances. Out of the music season it is the most peaceful place to hide away from city life. For this reason the Giordiano is ideal for being close to nightlife bearing in mind that Italians take siesta midday and come alive at night ! From our bedroom balcony the scene was spectacular with firework displays over the hilltops. Directly below was the hotel pool which is lit at night and is a beautiful backdrop setting for breakfast the following day. The choices for breakfast were good ...cold buffet and a choice of cooked as you like eggs. The many cakes set out are homemade and delicious with coffee ! The rooms are furnished in antique decor and are split on three floors. The staff are helpful and attentive. It is a family run hotel of the Palumbo group who also own the nearby and more secluded Hotel Villa Maria where residents of the Giordano can eat in the restaurant and partake in a welcome drink and admire the splendid views over the hills. I recommend a stay here and will be returning.
"Great location but let down by breakfast"
09/13/14 AlagnaG Naples, Italy
The Giordano is a nice small hotel that borders on ' 3.5 star'. The rooms are simple but perfectly fine..some with a small balcony that looks over the hills. Ravello itself is the real attraction, though, and the Giordano is in prime position in easy walk to everywhere. There is no restaurant but the sister hotel restaurant is highly recommended. ( we did not get a good feeling on looking at the restaurant - seemed very touristic and intended more for English-speaking visitors, so did not eat there. It does have a nice view though ). What really lets down the Giordano is the breakfast which is rather basic ( even for Italy ) and the breakfast room was freezing. Not cold - freezing. We were not allowed to sit outside because of 'works' around the pool, but I can say the breakfast experience was miserable and things also ran out quickly. So in the middle of summer these problems will not be experienced ( apart from the shortage of food replenishment, perhaps ). Still, probably, one of the top 3 options in Ravello, overall and I give it 3.5 starts rounded up to 4 fo t he location.
"Excellent location and quiet"

This hotel has an excellent location in Ravello. While not enjoying the classical vista del mare, the views are into the neighbouring mountains or the village. Our room was very clean, the hotels is nicely maintained, and the pol area is a real asset. You will enjoy a wonderful relax there. Staff are very helpful and the breakfast buffet is rich and very good. We will certainly return to this place.

Ravello is up in the mountains so there is a longish drive from Naples Airport to get there an some hair raising roads - but it is worth it! The hotel lobby is approached through a lovely garden, and everything from there is great. Our double room had a balcony overlooking the pool, to the main square and finally up to the mountains. The staff were always helpful, the breakfast was plentiful and served by the pool when the weather allowed. We we staying as part of a wedding group and my elderly parents were well looked after. This is a stunning hotel in a lovely village overlooking the Amalfi coast what could be better?

Stayed at the Giordona hotel for a family wedding 22nd June to 29th June, and had the most wonderful time there, the staff were very friendly and polite, the food was very good especially the breakfast, which was plentiful, and the views are magnificent, rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels. The view when lying at the pool is magnificant. You are close to lots of amenities, shops, bars, and restaurants, just through the tunnel is the taxi rank and Bus stop, 2.5 Euro for bus trip to Amalfi, this takes about 30 mins. good tip get your bus tickets before going onto bus from local tobacco shops. The day we were leaving we had to be away before breakfast start time, but the hotel made sure there would be something for us to eat and drink before we left, well done Giordano. Can’t wait to return some day.

This was a fantastic hotel. It was relaxing from the moment you walk in and hear classical music playing. The room was spotless and had a little balcony, ours overlooked the pool. I like the tile on the floor, and the bathroom was well-appointed and large. Breakfast was by the pool with a gorgeous view of the mountains. Couldn't have asked for a better start to our Italian trip!

If this hotel is 14th of 20 in Ravello, all I can say is that there must be some mighty fine competition. We four ladies loved everything about the Giordano Hotel and considered it the nicest hotel we stayed in during a two-week trip to Italy. We thought the decor of the rooms so attractive - loved the colorful tile floors and cleanliness. The best surprise was the lovely terrace - with a standard twin room. The view from the balcony will remain one of my best memories of Italy. We did not use the pool area, but it looked beautiful. When the lady in reception learned we had to leave before the complimentary breakfast, she made sure that there would some things out early for us. I heartily recommend this hotel.
"My favourite place"

I first visited Ravello and stayed at the Giordano years ago with my girlfriend. I went back to Ravello several years later to get married - to aforementioned girlfriend - and had my wedding reception at Giordano's sister hotel - Villa Eva - followed by a post wedding brunch the day after at the Giordano. Last week my wife and I returned to Ravello once again - this time joined by our three year old son. I have never been anywhere so beautiful where the staff are so friendly / professional / and welcoming. We stayed in room 26 this time. It has a private terrace space that leads out to a larger communal terrace with breathtaking views down the valley of lemon groves. Breakfast is served by the side of the secluded and beautiful pool - surrounded by beautiful landscaping. The food is exquisite with fresh produce from the local area, (and the same goes for the wine). We also enjoyed meals at the Giordano's other sister hotel in Ravello - Villa Maria, (which has even more dramatic views from its terrace). From Ravello it is easy to explore the whole of the Amalfi Coast. I would recommend the Giordano to everyone. I have loved visiting it as a relaxing and romantic break, and as part of our wedding venue, and most recently as a family holiday destination. I can't wait to go there again. It really is my favourite place.
