Genuine San Blas
This was very unique small hotel in the San Blas neighborhood of Cusco, with a fireplace in the room, small kitchen, and awesome views of Cusco from our balcony window. The hotel staff was always available to help and were eager to make sure you enjoyed your stay. A wide variety of restaurants, shops, and markets are within walking distance. .. Fyi... This hotel is located on the upper side of San Blas, so be prepared for lots of steps and hill climbing to get to and from your hotel room.

Very comfortable hotel that takes care of you.
The front desk girl was extremely helpful and patient, showing how to operate things in our room. The services available were very convienant and I would return here again. We would have taken advantage of their tour services but we were very tired from our travels. It is a good place to relax as there was a fireplace and a nice view of Cuzco. It was only a 10 minute walk to the main square or about 15 to the ruins. One tip: Get an upper floor suite since the floors are wooden and can creak...the people below complained we made noise but honestly I don't know what we were doing that was loud.

Genuinely wonderful staff
We stayed here for seven nights and absolutely loved the colonial apartment with views (I forget the Peruvian name for it). The staff were the biggest asset of the hotel: being friendly, helpful, sweet and courteous. The breakfast (which you chose from an extensive list) was fantastic, and was brought to your apartment at the time you wished. The quality and comfort of the furnishings was lovely and very colonial style. On arrival, you may find the climb a bit of a struggle, as the hotel is a fifteen minute walk up from Plaza de Armas. Also - the passageway that the hotel is located on is hard to find, so take their phone number with you and the staff will come and meet you and carry your bags if you need. But once you have acclimatised to the altitude and got your city bearings, you will realise that the location is excellent.
