I was traveling with a group of 6, and Andean Wings was the perfect hotel for us in Cusco! Unfortunately a few of us succumbed to a stomach bug (not related to food or altitude), and Jorge and Maria took such good care of us! Jorge went above and beyond creating concoctions that were sure to cure all of our aliments, and Maria was sure that our rooms were cleaned at our convenience! Wonderful boutique hotel with outstanding service, old world charm, and wonderful breakfasts. Situated in the heart of Cusco, just 2 blocks from Plaza De Armas, I would definitley stay there again!

I stayed here 2 nights and while it was a low end hostel, for $16 a night it would be hard to complain. The only problem was the description of the room was "private" but it was 2 bunk beds. Still a safe and convenient location with great staff

The hotel was a great value. The room was bright and clean. The linens were clean. The bathroom was spotless. Housekeeping did a great job. The room was a bit small but we were really only ever in the room to shower and sleep. The hotel provided hot tea when we checked in and a delicious breakfast each morning. The room was a bit cold but that is typical in Cusco. The bed was always warm at night though thanks to the blankets and a hot water bottle provided by the hotel. It was a bit of a walk from the main plaza but a cab ride was only about 2-3 dollars. I would definitely stay there again.

What a beautiful hotel! We had a little issue with the airport transfer upon arrival (there was some miscommunication and they did not pick us up, so make sure to email your travel information and get a confirmation) but with a bit of explaining, the hotel made up for it and we were happy overall. The courtyard and overall layout of the hotel is just so pretty. Our loft room was interesting and really nice, and the breakfast was excellent as well. Everything was clean and well put together. There is a bar/tapas restaurant located there too that provided some entertainment for us also. Overall, we would definitely stay here again and had a great experience. It is towards the top of town, so if you can't walk uphill to get home from the main areas, then that may be a problem for some (but not for us).

"Odd location"
The hotel premise is beautiful. Nice landscape. Relatively new buildings and room. Clean and safe inside the hotel. However, the location of this hotel is a bit odd. It's breath taking in the sense that you are in the middle of sacred valley and you can see the mountains in the back. It's ultra quiet, away from everything. However, this hotel is located […] between Ollantaytambo and Urubamba. The actual town is quite shanty - no stores or anything. Drunks hanging around on the main road, very agricultural area. The hotel has a 24 hour security guard and is gated - which makes you feel safe. But we attempted to walk around the neighborhood to see what is around the hotel - and there is nothing. We couldn't find a single store that sells fresh fruit! The only place you can eat is at the hotel restaurant and bar. Oh, and there is no TV in the room.
