I was traveling with a group of 6, and Andean Wings was the perfect hotel for us in Cusco! Unfortunately a few of us succumbed to a stomach bug (not related to food or altitude), and Jorge and Maria took such good care of us! Jorge went above and beyond creating concoctions that were sure to cure all of our aliments, and Maria was sure that our rooms were cleaned at our convenience! Wonderful boutique hotel with outstanding service, old world charm, and wonderful breakfasts. Situated in the heart of Cusco, just 2 blocks from Plaza De Armas, I would definitley stay there again!

The hotel was a great value. The room was bright and clean. The linens were clean. The bathroom was spotless. Housekeeping did a great job. The room was a bit small but we were really only ever in the room to shower and sleep. The hotel provided hot tea when we checked in and a delicious breakfast each morning. The room was a bit cold but that is typical in Cusco. The bed was always warm at night though thanks to the blankets and a hot water bottle provided by the hotel. It was a bit of a walk from the main plaza but a cab ride was only about 2-3 dollars. I would definitely stay there again.

What a beautiful hotel! We had a little issue with the airport transfer upon arrival (there was some miscommunication and they did not pick us up, so make sure to email your travel information and get a confirmation) but with a bit of explaining, the hotel made up for it and we were happy overall. The courtyard and overall layout of the hotel is just so pretty. Our loft room was interesting and really nice, and the breakfast was excellent as well. Everything was clean and well put together. There is a bar/tapas restaurant located there too that provided some entertainment for us also. Overall, we would definitely stay here again and had a great experience. It is towards the top of town, so if you can't walk uphill to get home from the main areas, then that may be a problem for some (but not for us).

The staff was helpful in obtaining taxi for tours and recommended a great restaurant, Limo on the main square, very good! Room was clean. Absolutely loved the chocolate left on the pillow for evening turn down, but was completely spoiled with the hot water bottle to warm the bed, loved it!

Location.
Royal Inka I is close to Plaza of Arms, Cusco Cathedral, and Cusco Museum of Popular Art. Also nearby are UNSAAC Yale International Center and Cusco San Pedro Market.

My husband and I were very pleased with our stay. The staff, such as Christian and Fernando, were very knowledge, friendly, and able to communicate to... us in English (since I speak very little Spanish). We were recommended this hotel from a friend of the family, who is familiar with the touristy parts of Peru, but were little hesitant because of the previous low scored review. Because of the great location and great deals found online (especially due to low season of visit) we decided to make Royal Inka our decision. Our breakfast buffet was delicious, which include made to order omelets, fruit, yogurt, many beverages, pork slices, and other traditional breakfast food like sweet potato. There was never a problem with our hotel water, if anything, sometimes it would switch warm to really hot in the middle of our shower. Only on our last night did we experience wifi troubles and connection. The plugs/electrical outlets did not require a converter either. We were able to walk to Plaza de Armas within 10 minutes, and always felt safe from beggars on the street once entered the hotel. Transportation to and from the hotel, such as the airport, Machu Picchu, or other tourist locations, were always easily arranged. El hotel no está mal, la ubicación excelente pero la atención en la recepción no pudo ser peor. A una amiga que llegó un poco después le dijeron que no estaba en ese hotel y a pesar de saber que llegando a la altura uno debe descansar, la mandaron ida y vuelta a pie con maletas. Luego en la noche cuando pedimos oxigeno, nos dijeron que bajara a pie […] o llamaramos a un hospital!!! Felizmente nosotras pudimos solucionar el problema pero el personal no le interesó nada y no hizo ningun esfuerzo por ayudar.
