Cosy's is across the street from some of the main buildings of the Universite Catholique in Lille, which makes it an ideal place to stay if you have business at the university or are visiting a student. The co-location with the school makes for a youthful energy on the street - but it is still somewhat of a haven on the inside. In spite of an "in its bones" mildewy smell that lingered in the bathroom, the property was well maintained, the rooms bigger than expected, the beds comfortable, and the property largely quiet. The kitchen was surprisingly well equipped with small refrigerator, dual-burner, stovetop, coffeemaker, pots and pans, dinnerware, etc., making it easy to prepare in-room meals with groceries from the supermarket about 3 blocks away. Recommend stocking your kitchen as the area does not exactly have a "24/7" lifestyle. Internet was functional but occasionallly clumsy and slow. Could have used one English-language television channel or some English captions on the news. Would not recommend the hotel breakfast - a little expensive and schedule limiting. Instead, take a one or two block walk and get some delicious pastries and coffee from one of many boulangeries in the area. Always seemed to be someone at the desk who spoke enough English to answer questions, provide direction, etc. Definitely a positive experience. If I return to Lille, I would stay there again.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. It is a basic hotel with bed, shower, tv and that's about it. It is in the middle of a business park so there is not much around here. We did find a decent supermarket and a Micky D's in the same area but it's really not within walking distance. Would stay here again if I found myself in B.F.E. France

Perfect for an overnight stay to or from the south of France. The gentleman on reception was very welcoming and the bed was surprisingly comfortable.... There is a lovely steak house across the road if you need an evening meal which we would thoroughly recommend. The only complaint, if we had to make one, was that the bathroom was a bit grubby. Considering the price we paid it was very good. Cannot comment on the breakfast as we left very early, although there were vending machines if you wanted something. They say you get what you pay for. This hotel is conveniently located on the highway to get to Lens, Lille, or other surrounding small towns. It is also the cheapest place around for a reason. Our first room reeked of smoke. When we asked for a non-smoking room, the attendent said our room was non-smoking. He even came up and said he didn't smell anything. […] Which was likely true because the lobby smelled so much worse he was probably desensitized. There is no phone access anywhere in the building and they won't print or do anything for you. The breakfast is overpriced and the free wi-fi is slow. You have to pay for wi-fi that is usable. We got a different room the second night. It didn't smell as bad, but there were still cigarette burns on the bathroom sink. (There were burns in the first room too.) There are other cheap hotels in the area, but they aren't on hotels.com. I walked into another one and asked if they would print my bus ticket when I needed to leave and they did it for me even though I wasn't even a guest. Read more

Great for overnight stay on long journeys. Just could not find its location. We had to ask local residents for directions. If we ware traveling late at night it would have been struggle. It should have been sign posted better. Aslo advertise with free WiFi - had to log on into another hotels WiFi for acces.

Bon rapport qualité/prix quand on voyage à 4. Acceuil agréable. Cependant, la moquette de la chambre était tâchée et le dessus de lit était troué à plusieurs endroits par des brûlures de cigarettes.

Repartis sur la route à 3h30 du matin, en sortant de l’hôtel, une "haie d'honneur" composée de l'agent de sécurité et de ses amis nous attendait... Regards limites menaçants et insistants en guise de au revoir, je pense qu'il y a mieux comme accueil...

Très bon rapport qualité prix. Une nuit d'hôtel pour 2 à 34 euros (promo internet) .... quasi impossible de trouver ça ailleurs. Un petit déjeuner buffet excellent et un accueil à la réception parfait. Je note pour une prochaine fois. Très satisfaite de mon séjour.
