I was there with my wife for 5 nights and it was excellent stay. The service provided in the reception is very nice. The room is well cleaned every day. It is located at the Maenam Beach and it is only about 15 mins by motorbike to the fisherman village. The resort have free shuttle bus to go to the city centre every day. However, you might need to […] take a Taxi back. What make me surprised is the food in the restaurant. The quality of the dinner is much better than what you found in city center or fisherman market. The price is reasonable and I would say it is cheaper than the other places where they do ripe off the tourists. Mimosa is located away from the bustling tourist areas of Koh Samui. Appears to be a new hotel, small, very friendly, we had a family suite, which consisted of two double bedrooms and a connecting lounge, ideal for a family with two children from about 3-4 years old. Not so ideal for crawling babies, some sharp corners. Pool a bit small and the infinity look means that one end of the pool is quite dangerous for boisterous […] kids playing on floating aids, as they could have easily shoot over the edge (water goes right up to the edge) and fall down onto the concrete below. If they want to have families they either need to have two pools ( one childfriendly one incl. shaded areas) or adjust the current pool. Breakfast buffet good, chairs are incredibly heavy to lift. All staff helpful and friendly. Hotel secluded, a good 20 min walk away from the main road, right on the beach. the location of the hotel is totally off. I brought my kids to koh samui for a short holiday a few days ago, we cant go anywhere without the hotel's transport. The distance from the town and main tourists sights are very far and the transport and taxi bills are, as such, very costly. i will not recommend this hotel unless there's no other choice.

With in 5 minutes of entering our our room my wife noticed a platoon of ants marching across our luggage. After a closer look the entire room was crawling with ants and there were spiders in the corners of the room. I called the front desk who said they would send house keeping with some bug spray. We stayed at Mimosa Resort and Spa for 9 nights for our honeymoon. The room we had was exactly as it looked on their website and featured a King sized bed, a two person Jacuzzi in the front courtyard and an outdoor rain shower. We enjoyed our stay and the staff there were very friendly and extra helpful. While we were there it rained night and day […] and the staff went out of their way to make sure we stayed dry moving to and from our room. They went out of their way to book our tours etc. and got them at 'local' costs. There were a few instances where language barriers caused a few small errors in room service orders and restaurant orders, but nothing tha really bothered us. The pricing of the restaurant is a little expensive and the menu is small as is the pricing at the spa, but alternatives can easily be found along the main road or in town. One of the few downfalls of this resort is that it is a fair way out from the main town Chaweng and there is not much going on in the surrounding areas. You will definitely need to hire some sort of vehicle to get around if you are staying here. Also the road leading toward the resort had a sand bridge over a creek which l flooded and most of the bridge collapsed meaning only small vehicles such as motorbikes were able to cross, so we were stuck at the resort the last couple of days of our stay. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and if we were looking for a quiet retreat in Koh Samui, we would definitely stay again :D Read more

Sehr schöne gepflegte Gartenanlage mit Sitzmöglichkeiten. Moderene puristische Zimmer. Reiche Auswahl beim FR-Buffet! Was Sauberkeit und Service (Pool und sonstige Anliegen) angeht fehlt noch ein wenig Fingerspitzengefühl um in der Wertung die volle Punktzahl zu erreichen. Die Lage ist ruhig, aber sehr angenehm zum restlichen Koh Samui.

Vi bodde i en marklägenhet med egen jacuzzi för två personer under ett litet tak utomhus (liten inhängnad gård). Själva lägenheten i japansk stil med stort badrum och med en liten trädgård. Sköna sängar och mycket fräscht. Nära till havet. Vacker strand med kokospalmer och klart vatten. Få människor på stranden och nästan inga försäljare. Lugnt och […] skönt med andra ord. Pool alldeles vid strandkanten med solstolar och parasoll. Kanot, cyklop mm kunde lånas gratis. Även restaurangen belägen vid strandkanten. Bra frukost, men tyvärr dyr och ganska dålig a la carte. Dessutom fick vi fel nota en gång och en nota uppsatt på vårt rum som inte var vår. Långt till shopping, men hotellet hade två turer med minibuss eller bil in till Chaweng. Tillbaka fick man ta taxi för 500 Baht. Ett par lokala restauranger på gångavstånd samt en 7-11-butik. Cyklar och mopeder lånades ut gratis av hotellet. Tyvärr var det strömavbrott på hela ön i mer eller mindre tre dygn. Som tur var har detta hotell eget elverk vilket gjorde att toaletter och duschar samt AC mm fungerade.
