I was booked here for a week for a business trip but after the first night I canceled the rest of my stay. Hard to get in and out of lots of traffic in and out of the hotel all hours of the night. Thin walls so you can hear conversations and other things from next room. Not bad for a person that is traveling by himself but I wouldn't bring my wife and children here.

I first arrived at the room and pulled back the sheets so I could take a nap after a very long drive to NJ. There was hair in the sheets and black stains that looked liked smeared ashes and it looked like there was a urine stain on the bed. The carpet was disgusting and the chair looked like it was wet from the huge stains that were on it. I called […] the front desk and asked if I could have my sheets changed; she told me to leave it how I was so that they could see what was wrong with it. A man showed up with a women who was dressed in scrubs and asked me where it was dirty. I showed him and he began to argue with me telling me that they weren't dirty and all of the sheets were probably like that and if he changed it it would probably be the same. He then told me that he had no more sheets or pillowcases. I told him I didn't call to have someone come and argue with me. He said so you really want me to change the sheets and I said yeah by now you could have changed them 5 times. I was very displeased with the service and when I called the front desk they did nothing and were refusing to give me the managers name and said they would leave a note. Nothing was done about it and to top it off there was absolutely no hot water. I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend this hotel. Read more

The physical address of this hotel makes it very difficult, almost impossible to get to. The area is so dark that here may be some concern for safety. However nothing happened during my stay.

The hotels was worth the money it has quoted. The neighborhood is a bit shady due to the location of a strip club nearby. The directions to the hotel is sort of tricky. If you are familiar with the area then it may be easy. The room was kept well and breakfast was adequate.

I booked 3 rooms that were supposed to have queen size beds, however the rooms I received were full sized beds. I had non-smoking rooms that had ash trays in them and smelled like cigarettes! I brought the youth from my church there and was ashamed at the rooms I had booked. Never again.

I enjoyed staying there for a couple of days, but in the middle of the first night, around 2:30, am I was woken up by super loud Latino music which was playing in one of the neighboring rooms... Had to call the frontdesk some 3-4 times before the issue has been resolved. Same situation occurred next night, but with some classical opera, again, played […] around 3 am, super loud. One call to frontdesk ended this. One other thing - a towel in the bathroom had a few large blood stains - very nasty.... brrrr. My stay was horrible! 2 star more like negative 2 star!!!! If your only other option is sleeping in your car you might just consider it. The cost of the motel was extremely reasonable. It was right near the South Amboy NJ Transit train to go into NYC. The motel is close to restaurants. The room was a very good size. There was a problem with the maintenance of the door lock, but they tried to work on it. We're going back next time we're in the area.

I had to ask for a room change as the room given had sticky chewing gum on the carpet as well as a warm blowing air conditioner. Beds were fair, wall paper on walls were peeling off and window in bathroom was jimmed open.
