Excellent staff. Friendly and helpful. Have stayed here on occasion for business.
Contintental breakfast and coffee is always good. It is very easy to get to and is located on Route 35 south in South Amboy,NJ....
Went here for a 2 week vacation and had the most relaxing time ever, nice staff, good customer service, got everything I needed it beats the hampton inn thats for sure
When staying there, I did realize it was a bit outdated but the rooms seem to have been "recently" renovated. Bed was nice room was clean and I did enjoy the fact there was a fridge and microwave. For the AAA rate I can't deny it was great for the price. I would stay again
I stayed at this hotel on 6/24/2015. First impression is the hotel clerk behind a bullet proof glass window. Secondly, we checked in around 12PM and it smelled like straight sewer outside, you couldn't help but ask "what the ^&*^ is that smell?" Secondly, the room was pretty dirty. At 65$ a night you get what you pay for, but I at least expected a clean room. This room was NOT clean at all. I was very scared to sleep in the bed, and I also put blankets down from my car on the sheets. The floor was stained, there were cigarette burns and holes in the bed and furniture. and I put my own pillowcases on. The towels in the bathroom had pubic hair on them. The only way this place is still in business is the location. I can deal with crappy furniture and an old tube TV but when it comes to cleanliness this place was gross.
Traveled to NJ to take my daughter to the Six Flags Park in Jackson. Needed to stay close the the airport so booked this hotel. Oh boy. never again. Had to explain to my daughter what the two XXX places across the street were. Did not feel safe at all here. Rooms dirty and defective plumbing. Good price and location to the airport but I would have spent 3 times as much if I had known in advance.
This place is totally disgusting. There is a strip joint across the street and a truck stop adjacent to this property with prositutes running around. There was a homeless guy walking through the parking lot. Just all in all gross. We tried to suck it up and stay there because we drove 4 hours and were tired but as soon as we opened the room the smell was horrible smelled like urine. Defiantly not a good place.
The manager is nasty, uses bad language and has know idea what a motel is for.
Got a room unpacked and a friend we know stoped by to say hi and talk for a while. The manager calld the phone and said we had to leve or he would call the police when we asked why he said too many people. I told him they were only there for a few but he said that we also had to go because he did not want us there. the friend asked for a room and he said no he did not want anyone of us there. His language was bad and he was rude to all of us. we got our money back and found another hotel with people who knew how to talk.
There were 30 other people we know that stayed there that night and they said he was a jerk with all of them.
the place seemed ok, in begginning. At night while in shower i looked on the mirror and saw a message on the mirror which read somewhere close to ": help me hoe" (the message showed up when the mirror fogged up, wasnt visible before) we got scared and erased the message quickly (thats why im not recalling the exact message, also i was standing in front of the fogged mirror and have not noticed any message), i noticed what appears to be dried up dark matter on mirrors and wall. till today i get goosebumps when i think about who or what and for what reason showed the message. the only reasonable explanation that comes to mind is the gogo places around the motel but i will let you do the research on prostitution and dangers associated with it...
My sister stayed there last night with her friend and her parents. She called me crying because it was creepy and dirty, and that she wanted to go home. I thought "How bad could it be?". Our family normally stay in resorts or 5 star hotel so I was just thinking she was being a prissy brat lol. But I did end making the 2hour drive to get her and was appalled! There was cars coming and going like crazy and it was 3am! I went inside to her room to get her and all I could smell was weed. I got to her room, they let me in and I was ready to cry! there was stuff running down the walls, my shoes were sticking to the floor and there was a disgusting smell of vomit. All of them were sitting on top of the bed on beach towels that the brought. the staff was very rude and gave us dirty looks while leaving. I was creeped out enough that I had given all the girls pepper spray which probably wouldn't have done anything. When we got outside there was people gathered not far from my car and they were talking and pointing at it. when we finally got out of there I was relieved to say the least. I suggest no one stay there. It's dirty and made me fear for our safety.
I made reservations online and paid before we arrived.. they locked me out after one night saying i hadnt paid?? no handicapp nothing and walls look like someone sprayed something all over them by the table, the door and behind the night stands. the guy at the front desk was not helpful and made no apoligies for their error. I would never stay here again.
