I reached the hotel at about 1:00 am in the morning and they didn't have the right type (non-smoking and queen bed) of room I reserved. They put me in a smoking room with two beds and one extra bed. It was very smelly and no room to move around. Horrible. The next day they changed my room. Thank God.

Very nice hotel for the price, could be better if the windows were clean. In fact they must pay more attention in their cleaning services, all the rest is all right.

Pros: smack dab in front of the tower. Easy access to the metro line. It a quick walk to the Drum tower and Muslim quarter. The south gate and calligraphy street Is about 10 minutes by walk. The rooms are comfortable albeit small. The breakfast buffet is decent worth the money if you are missing western food! The staff speaks passable English. Cons: really really hard to catch a cab at rush hours. Especsilly to go to the train station. It's about 15 minutes away from the railway and bus station. The room amenities are decent but not as great as the cost of the room. In summary, great location and Average style hotel.

Location.
Situated in the heart of Xi'an, Jinjiang Inn Xi'an Downtown is close to Xingqing Lake, Bell Tower, and Drum Tower. Also nearby are Beilin Museum and Xi'an Jiaotong University.
Hotel Features.

"Good, Clean, Friendly budget Hotel"
We spend only 2 days in Xi'an but the hotel was one of the few nice experiences in Xi'an. The staff were very friendly and polite. We did get very early and they checked us in with not an issue. They always had a lovely smile and were very helpful. It was also a bargain price for a nice, clean room.

"Cheap No Frills Economy Chain"
My 1st stay in a Jinjiang Inn, staff very helpful although laundry was`nt returned on same day and ended up being sent to my next hotel in Beijing 3 days later !! I realised that it would be a Basic Hotel / Room.........Breakfast mainly Chinese but Toast, Fruit and Yoghurts available, approx £18 GBP a night so Value was good. 20/25 min walk to Bell […] Tower but local bus stops approx 200m from hotel and gets you there in about 6 / 7 mins. Beware of Taxi Drivers at Melody Hotel Airport Bus Stop...........They refused to use meters at night and wanted to charge me 20 / 30 Yuan to hotel. This should be the Day Rate of 6 Yuan !! I ended up getting to hotel in an Auto ricksaw for 15 Yuan ( again overpriced !! ). Dreadful that they are like this in Xian as rest of 18 day trip to Shanghai, Hangzhou and Beijing I encountered no problems at all !!! Read more

"Xi'An - Jiefang Lu Jinjiang Inn"
Probably the best Jinjiang I have stayed in. Staff at desk always said ' hello' as I walked in or saw them in the halls. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious...always had coffee ( a rarity at many places ). A bit of a walk to city centre but not unbearable. Near a great mall that had a huge selection of different restaurants. I like the Jinjiang chain […] but this hotel in particular...one of the staff, Lucy, made it a point of helping me get a taxi when I left and held an umbrella over me and my luggage until I got a taxi...it was a wonderful stay. "Clean room at good value."
We check was swift - 100CNY is requested as a room key deposit. Room clean and quiet (we got a back room). Corridor could get noisy in the evening but nothng detrimental. Needed Laundry to be done which was pricy but the service was quick. Breakfast good value at 15CNY each. A good walk (or taxi ride) however is required to get to the bell tower. 房間乾淨 該有的設備都有整體感覺良好 有網路非常方便 浴室熱水很足(一開始白擔心的) 櫃檯服務人員都很親切 都很熱心回答我的問題 聽說全中國的連鎖店非常多 以後到別的城市也會選擇再住錦江之星:）

"JINGJIANG HOTEL XIAN"
Situado a 400 metros de la Estación de trenes de Xian. Desde la estación al hotel un taxi sale por 7 yuanes Numerosos almacenes(mall) en la calle principal El personal habla inglés y ayuda en todo lo que puede.
