My wife and I stayed here for a week and it was just about OK. We were put in the 'annex' (a nearby building) and not the main building which was not too inconvenient but we didn't know about it in advance. It advertised WiFi but it cost 20 euro for 24 hours!! There was no fridge or mini-bar in the room so no place to keep cold drinks. We did not eat […] dinner here but breakfast was not a memorable experience - the usual buffet arrangement but at the lower quality end, little fresh fruit, cheap muesli, cereals, weak coffee etc. Read more

Great place to stay! Clean comfy rooms with amazing sea view. Food wasnt gourmet but really fresh and tasty and lots of it. Location is great but a few minutes to walk up to the port / main town. Waiters/watresses usually freindly but welcome on reception not overly warm.

Great Location Just over the road from a lovely beach. Peaceful, away from the crowds, we found good restaurants nearby. Breakfast in the hotel was good, pleasant courtyard and sofas, staff helpful and friendly. Room comfortable with very good shower and nice balcony. We would go back.

Lovely hotel with great staff and a decent breakfast. Ask for room 363. It's got a double size balcony (one level down from the top so it's covered = no sunburn) on the side which gets the sunrise and sunset, with a huge sea view, and you can just about connect to the wifi from there.

We could not fault the restaurant for quality and service. We were not allocated a room in the main hotel but had to walk to the annexe next door but across a road. Our side sea view room had only a minimal view of the sea and only if we leaned out over the balcony. Our main view was of the back of the main hotel where feral cats scavanged the waste […] bins for food. A bright street light beamed into our room all night. A great location, lots of street parking by the hotel, enough room around the poolside with lounges and across from the beach. A clean hotel which you can see has been renovated to a good standard offering wifi throughout the hotel though some areas are harder to log on than others due to signal strength. Staff are friendly and speak very good English, evening entertainment some nights of the week (Soul/Mowtown, Abba etc) is offered where you can enjoy outside the front of the hotel by the bar or from the balcony of your room. I loved my stay at the Uyal. It is an hour shuttle ride away from Palma airport but it is completely worth it. Pollensa is beautiful and quiet and this hotel makes your visit feel like a five star experience. Friendly staff, amazing rooms with balconies for you to rest. if you have a chance get a ocean view room so that you can see the amazing beach […] and bay. right across from the beach. a five to ten minute walk to the pier. family friendly, although if you are looking for a younger crowd this hotel wont necessarily fit your needs. It is geared for relaxation. great breakfast, although not typical spanish, more for the british tourists. Dinner was very good, but there are alot of restaurants in the area and a grocery store nearby so if you dont want the half board this is an option. The pool area looked nice, always packed though. Very friendly and relaxed. Food very good with variety and good quality. Pool area a little restricted but good access to beautiful public beach. Great swimming. Lovely views of mountains. Entertainment varied and good, particularly for over-50s.

When comparing this hotel to the last three we have stayed in ( which were very similarly priced ) , this was disappointing. The room was cramped and old fashioned and the air conditioning made a feeble attempt at keeping the room cool. From what we could tell there was a real mix of feeling from residents in the hotel. Some had been there several times […] before , and some (like us ) were disappointed when comparing the hotel to similarly priced Barcelo, H10 or Dom Pedro hotels. All that said ,we had a pretty good holiday, the hotel is nicely situated across from an attractive beach area , and 15mins walk into the centre of pollensa. All we would say in summary is that there are other hotels in the area which are more appealing and should be looked at as alternatives. Personally , we wouldn't return. Read more

The newer annex building which we stayed in is obviously newer from the inside and out but the older/main building has just as much charm. There are numerous buses running throughout the day all over Mallorca, and a taxi rank for your travelling needs. The Hotel Uyal was excellant value for money and the buffet breakfast was superb. The evening meal that we had but paid extra for was also good value. Location was ok but a little bit of a walk into the town. The only fault if any was that the hotel was swarming with cyclists and they were very noisy within their groups. There should have been something […] on the web site advising customers that they catered for big groups of cyclists, because if they had we may have been put off by this and would have had a more relaxed and quiet holiday else where. The hotel was in an excellent area and Port de pollenca was beautiful. We were in the annex with a sea view room and balcony which was excellent. The hotel room was fairly clean but I think the cleaner used a mop of long dark human hair to clean the floor - the hairs were NOT ours but they were everywhere around the room! Rooms were very noisy also, […] walls and ceiling were very thin! Air con was a god send! Got charged 18 euros for the room safe for 1 week :( Food in resturant was fairly good - we paid 13 euros each for the buffet meal which was a lot cheaper than the resturants in port de pollenca. Didn't like the seating arrangements at meal times - allocated tables were given to guests who were eating there every night however we did not eat there on a regular basis so got put on a different table on each night - although one night we accidentally sat on a Scottish couples "allocated table" and they were not happy and complained to the waiter even though they were on the table next to us! Pathetic! The following night we were put right by the main door - we were not happy because everyone kept walking past us but we were prepared to walk out if they did that to us again on another night. The Spar near to the hotel was brilliant and the baggettes from there were lovely! Driving around Mallorca is quite an experience - I dont think they have heard of health and safety on the roads! Vår semester på hotellet blev en väldigt trevlig upplevelse. Puerto Pollensa är en mindre turistort utan allt för mycket människor men med fullgod service och fin strand. Hotellet har fint läge, bra service, bra restaurang och utmärkta rum (nya delen). Det enda som saknades var kvällsunderhållning samt en uppvärmd pool. Hotellet ligger perfekt ved strand, tæt på landevejen til Pollensa og bjergene, aflåst garage til cykler med individuelt aflåseligt ophæng, reparationsstande og vandkøler til at fylde dunkene fra. Andra gången vi bott på det här hotellet. Bra läge för cykelträning. Hotellet har ett bra cykelgarage. Bra rum. Bra läge vid stranden. Klassisk stil på hotellet. Bra servering och en bra buffet (Halvpension). Tyvärr upplevde vi receptionen som lite tafatta när det kom till att vara inovativa i att lösa problem. De flesta rum har balkong eller havsutsikt. Vårt rum hade en avsides dörr ut till en balkong med havsutsik. Så någon vacker vy från rummet fanns inte (vilket vi var besvikna över) och rummet var rätt mörkt. Trevligt hotell med perfekt läge alldeles vid stranden. Vänlig och hjälpsam personal. Poolområdet fint och mysig bar vid poolen. Se till att få ett rum i huvudbyggnaden med hel eller delvis utsikt över havet. Det enda negativa var väl att sängarna kanske inte var de allra bästa men helt OK.

Super lokatie en goede service van alle medewerkers. Lekker uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet met fruit en engels ontbijt (veel engelse gasten!). Bedden zijn wel hard (maar dat is bijna overal in Spanje in hotels zo). Ook in Port Pollensa zelf veel goede restaurants te vinden op leuke loopafstand over de boulevard.

Das Zimmer mit Meerblick war dunkel und hatte keinen Balkon. Nach Rücksprache mit dem Hotel wurde uns am nächsten Tag ein neues Zimmer mit Balkon im Nebengebäude zugewiesen.
