The Hotel had high end materials and amenities, but some of the construction was lacking, nothing that was a big deal... tiles around tub slanted out, so tons of water got out when showering. One of the faucets was very loose. There was no return for the AC, so it did not cool the room very well. The worst, was the slamming doors. Hugh rooms, nice views. The hotel is right off the freeway, but a ways out of town or any services. The only drawback to the hotel is that both bedrooms are upstairs, with only a narrow, wrought iron staircase leading up. Luckily, we were only there overnight and didn't have to try and carry our luggage up.

Stayed here 4 nights, could easily have stayed longer. Great breakfast buffet. Parking was easy for free in front of the hotel. Hotel buildings and grounds are excellent, restaurant is very good but expensive as are drinks. Swimming pools good, beach poor. Entrance to bedroom is via a door into a common area and then into one of the 2 bedroom areas by another door. No mention was made of this on Expedia or hotel site. The use of the common area was denied to us and no real explanation […] offered. We both found entering this common area which had a large settee, television, dining table and chairs and a large kitchen, which could have been occupied by several people unknown to us and possibly in very compromising situations, rather intimidating. The bedroom only had one plug socket for the television and the kettle. They could not be used together and changing them over required kneeling on the floor and reaching under the dressing table, not recommended for elderly people or children. Very nice hotel, lovely views of the sea. We were on our honeymoon and got upgraded to a suite which was brilliant. Main down point is the hotel is not on Sat Navs and the location on web site is not correct. Hotel was lovely, room was modern and in very good condition. Sadly the staff let the experience down. We are wary of big hotels, and more so of resorts, so we booked this with a little trepidation. However, from the moment we arrived, having driven the hour and a bit from Malaga airport, our apprehensions vanished. The grounds and facilities were great and kept up to a good standard. We had an apartment which consisted of three separate bedrooms with […] their own outside areas, and a good sized lounge area with sofa, chair and table and chairs and tv - with another outside area. Beds were comfortable and the a/c worked well. Yes, there were a few things that needed some attention in the bathroom like the window blinds being a little broken, a faulty soap dispenser in the shower... but that was not an issue with us and didn't impact on our stay at all. The breakfast was the best we have ever had, anywhere, in terms of the variety. Likewise the lunch and dinner buffet left you more than fed well. The only downside for us was that to get anywhere you needed the car as there was no town in reasonable walking distance. But then we knew that and so used the hire car to go to Gibraltar, Cadiz, Seville, Ronda, Marbella and Malaga - though not on the same day! The supermarket on site doesn't bear much relation to the name, more like a tuck shop with choice of snacks, drinks etc. There is a big and proper supermarket just over the main dual carriageway though if you feel the need to buy anything else for your day trips. Very nice room, but a little bit "vacuous" and not that well planned out. A silly rule about how to enter the restaurant for breakfast, and if it is your first morning, there is no sign to tell you that you have to circumnavigate the eating area to enter via a side door accessed in the main hotel building, I ducked under the barrier and was promptly […] told off by a waiter in the restaurant. As I had already made the error through no fault of my own as there were no signs, I told the waiter that I would report to the front desk to inform them that I had arrived for breakfast so that they could tick me off the visitor's breakfast list. The waiter scowled at me and then when he served me coffee he pretty much through my cup on saucer onto the table. Not what I would expect from a 4 star hotel. Clearly designed as a 4 or maybe 5 star and the rooms are excellent as is much of the hotel layout, but the service and overall attitude of the staff is not good bar 1 or 2 exceptions; our Bell hop on arriving was a really happy, helpful young lad. The Wifi in the rooms is almost completely useless for anything other than checking the odd email as it […] requires continual re-logging in after losing the signal, certainly dont attempt any serious business online here or try to communicate coherently on skype. We had to continually pester them to get our hotel cleaned, there were no beach towels after a certain time and the front desk staff bordered on aggressive. Great hotel for a simple pool hotel for families who dont worry about service as the food was very good albeit the waiting staff were clearly over stretched they did ok. Dont even dream of going on the beach here as it is rocky, laden with jellyfish when we were there and you have to pay!....yes pay, for a sunbed. Vi har i den grad fundet et sted som bare må og skal besøges igen! Vi kørte til Estepona en dag - og besluttede os for at overnatte på et hotel i byen. På Hotels.com fandt vi Hotel Fuerte Estepona - og vi bookede et dobbeltværelse. Kort efter kørte vi til hotellet for at checke ind. Det var nemt at finde! Vi blev mødt at det smukkeste nye (kun 3 år […] gamle) hotel, hvor intet var overladt til tilfældighederne. Personalet kunne i den grad leve op til hotellets avancerede og indbydende udseende. De var venlige og imødekommende - om det var på gangen, i baren, receptionen eller ham der passede poolen, så fik man et stort smil og et "hola" med på vejen. Morgenmaden var også helt i top - et overflødelighedshorn af lækkerier. Oveni alt dette - var vi så heldige at få opgraderet værelset, da der var sket en fejl med hensyn til bookingen. Utrolig bra rom, minus for terrasse mot nord. Svært dårlig beliggenhet i forhold til alt, hvis man skulle bevege seg til fots eller med buss. Ingen fortau eller gangbru/undergang selv om det var et supemarked rett på den andre siden av motorvegen.

Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und die vielen Gäste verlieren sich, sodass man sehr gut entspannen und die Ruhe geniessen kann. Bedenkenlos kann man es sich hier für 5-7 Tage gemütlich machen, man benötigt allerdings ein Auto, um die interessanten Ziele in der etwas weiteren Umgebung anzufahren.

Vi valgte havsutsikt, og fikk et flott rom med en stor veranda. På veranda var det jacussi, så vi gleda oss til å sitte der å se utover Middelhavet. Neues, sauberes Hotel mit super Service. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Autobahn. Daher eher geeigenet für Urlauber mit Mietwagen, die von dort aus Ausflüge planen. Voor de eerste keer via Expedia bij deze hotelketen geboekt, Wij kunnen zeggen dat het appartement echt goed was, gewoon waar voor je geld. De ligging is wat buitenaf , helaas wat lastig te vinden ook met navigatie systeem omdat de locatie er niet op voor komt. Geen transfer van Expedia vanaf luchthaven, wij hadden daar geen erg in dus let daar op! Een […] auto heb je ook nodig als je ergens wilt gaan eten bv of andere dingen wil ondernemen. Supermarkt (wel een in het hotel zelf) aan de overkant van de doorgaande weg die je niet direct over kunt steken dus nogmaals auto aan te bevelen.Verder een mooi zwembad gelegen in de hoteltuin, met voldoende bedjes en parasols. Respecto al servicio de recepción he de decir que no fueron muy amables, intentamos quedarnos una noche más y nos dijeron que estaba completo, cuando fuimos a salir, volvimos a preguntar porque no nos podíamos creer que el hotel estaba completo y la respuesta fue que al precio que habíamos reservado no podía ser, que tenía que ser a precio de hotel, […] pero que de todas formas estaba completo (cuando nadie había hablado nada de precio). En vårtur til dette hotellet ble en særdels hyggelig opplevelse. Meget hyggelig og serviceinnstilt personale møtte oss hver dag under hele oppholdet. Vi spiste kun frokost på hotellet og den var av meget god standard. Det var ikke høysesong da vi var der så det var god tilgjengelighet på alle fasiliteter. Anbefales!!!
