Inn at 2920 - Baltimore

Exceeded expectations in every way. I booked online and was unaware this property is a B&B until the innkeeper called me, personally, to verify my arrival details. I thought I'd booked a full-service hotel but turns out it wasn't a problem. Everything, incuding the driving directions, was just as described. Property is clean, stylish, inviting, comfortable […] and convenient. I could open the windows in my room, something that's rare and most welcome. Coffee, tea, soft drinks a cookies available self-service around the clock, useful computer and printer and wi-fi. Not right on the harbor but very close, it's in a residential neighborhood with street parking and decent restaurants a block away -- this suited my needs. This property's guest rooms are on 2nd and 3rd floors up narrow stairs, no elevator; again, this was fine for me but won't work for every traveler. Read more

Loved the decor, ambiance, and the breakfast wonderful. The small touches and attention to detail were thoughtful. Enjoyed chatting with the owner at breakfast. The only minor drawback was that the dining chair could have been more comfortable. We definitely plan on coming back.

Warren was a wonderful host. Friendly, went out of his way to make our stay comfortable as well as suggesting some wonderful resturants. He is also a fabulous cook! The decor was very chic. We are already planning our next stay to Baltimore and will definately being staying here again. Two thumbs up!

We had a late check-in and Warren had every detail spelled out for us. We did not get a chance to meet Warren or David, but hope to stay there again for a longer stay to meet them next time around. The room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. The details that the Inn had made our stay feel as if we were home. Best service in a while, great neighborhood, walking distance to good food, water taxi. Its like having your own place in Bmore for a few days. Food at inn was surprisingly good. Innkeeper is a cool dude.

A beautifully renovated row house having a lobby-lounge on the first floor with a dining area and casual lounge on the second. Everything is perfectly maintained and spotlessly clean. Soft drinks, cookies and chocolates are gratis. Our room, the Pomfret Room had a desk built into the bay window. The breakfast was delicious and more than ample. The host […] (a guest host) was gracious and helpful. But...We had a terrible night's sleep. The room was cool when we arrived but when we awoke at 5:00 am, the room was very hot and stuffy. The room has no temperature controls. The ceiling fan had just two speeds - very fast and extremely fast. As a result we had a short and uncomfortable night's sleep. Elliott Street is a quiet residential street in a gentrifying neighborhood. Close to a beautiful park on the water and a square with restaurants and shops. Don't miss Mama's on the Half Shell and Vacarro's Italian Bakery. A traveler's tip: park there free & take the water taxi to all the destinations you want to see around the harbor - it's $12 for an all day pass. Less expensive and far less hassle that parking at the Inner Harbor. So, although everything else about the hotel was superb a poor night's sleep cast a pall over the experience. Read more

Everything was wonderful, the place was beuatiful, and it was in a great location in Canton. RIght next to the water for a nice evening stroll, and 1 block from O'Donnell square where there are a lot of great restaurants and bars.

If you want a small Inn with a great walking neighborhood, and local restaurants, the Inn at 2920 is it. Comfortable ambiance, free street parking, a delicious breakfast with attention paid to our food preferences. I would definitely stay here again.

Upon arrival,we were greeted by Warren, partner in business owner/innkeeper. He was very friendly and welcoming. When walking in through the front doors we were amazed by the beautiful decor and warmth we felt in the front room/sitting area. Warren showed us around and spoke with us briefly regarding attractions/tourist spots and restaurants in the […] area. He was very knowledgeable about the area and even handed us a map (which he looked over with us pointing out the different areas). Warren baked some very tasty cookies our first night. Our room was delightful and comfortable and even had a cute little fish named Columbus in a cute little bowl. The art in the room was pretty and matched the linens on our bed perfectly. The bathroom was modern and clean. In the morning, warren made us a delicious breakfast of Canadian ham with eggs and three different cheeses/asparagus/orange slices and potatoes. to start the breakfast off we were served coffee and juice and a delightful bowl of fresh cut fruit and a fresh baked cranberry/orange zest muffin. Warren also provided drinks in a cooler in the main living room/foyer for guests to enjoy at any time.Our stay was wonderful and we would recommend The Inn at 2920 to any adult couple looking to get away for a quick getaway from the city. The area had alot to do. We enjoyed a delicious Valentine's dinner at Fogo de Chao Brazilian restaurant and the aquarium was a good choice too. Read more

I selected this hotel without realizing how truly intimate and amazing it would turn out to be. The Inn at 2920 is run by David and Warren who are both wonderful people, and who make a mean breakfast. If your looking for a quiet escape in a city this is it. I would reccomend this B&B to anyone and everyone.

We stayed here for one night as a kind of tiny vacation, based on the reviews we read on TripAdvisor, the photos and description. The place is indeed lovely and though the bed sloped so much that my husband hardly slept at all, the Inn was as beautiful as is described. However, Hotels.com members should know that there are many rules here. One is that […] check in time is between 3-5 p.m.(not specified upon booking, but listed in the room). The innkeeper called me at 8:30 a.m. the day we were to arrive to ask what time we were planning on arriving, again not mentioning these hours -- fortunately, we planned on arriving at 5 p.m. But when circumstances and traffic made us know that it would be more like 6, I called at 4 and let them know. The response was "not a problem". When we arrived at 6:15 p.m. we got so much attitude from the innkeeper about being late (though he did acknowledge that I had called), it really made us regret our decision to stay there. Maybe he was just in a bad mood, but I wish we had spent our hard earned dollars someplace friendlier and will definitely not recommend it to anyone else. Read more
