Booked the hotel because of its location smack in the middle between London and Brighton, if you have a car this was great. But there’s nothing except Gatwick airport next to the hotel, and Crawley is actually quite boring as a town goes. The rates where good but it shows that it’s an airport hotel, anything even remotely considered as an “extra” was well charged for. Parking, WiFi, UK power plug converter, breakfast and so on. But if you’re aware, then this is no real problem. If I needed to stay in that area again I’d probably book it again, the rooms where good standard, clean and fairly large.

Excellent location accessible to shopping and public transportation. Great English breakfast; staff friendly. But the facility is outdated; narrow hallway, old elevator; bathroom door does not close. Need upgrading.

I enjoyed both my stays as the hotel was very comfortable and the staff very helpful. It was useful having a restaurant in the hotel and the ability to get the shuttle to Gatwick airport.

Lovely personal service. Whilst single rooms were quite small they were more than adequate, particularly given the low overnight stay price. Great breakfast was an added bonus and location was great. Within yards of bus stop and buses into brighton every 10 minutes. Just across the road from beach and i really enjoyed evening walks along the seafront […] into worthing centre and pier. I stayed for one night and found the place clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. No major complaints, good value and would use again if staying in the area. I knocked off one star because my room was adjacent to the kitchen and I could hear breakfasts being made etc, but it wasn't really a significant matter.

Room was somewhat cramped and had unnecessary clutter so that there was little room for suitcases. Books everywhere for book lovers! However pleasant, clean and very good breakfast so for our one night stay it was quite satisfactory. Friendly welcoming hosts.

The Lady running the B&B was pleasant and friendy and was helpful with parking and directions. The room we stayed in ( ground floor room 1) was however not really up to the standard we were expecting. It had clearly seen better days. It was cluttered with some very tired furniture which made the room cramped and uninviting. I would imagine that the […] room was also difficult to clean and this was reflected in the condition of the room. The bathroom although small was adequate and the shower worked producing plenty of hot water. The breakfast was ok although the organisation of the breakfast area was again confused. parking was a problem as there is nowhere to park you have to leave your vehicle around the corner in a side sreet and you just have to hope that nobody interferes with it, breakfast was under cooked every morning, all in all the place is ok for a short stay.

Was not very happy as the room door could not be locked from inside or out .[No key].Not a very secure nights stay.If I had stayed more than 1 night.I would have had to take all my belongings with me. This needs to be sorted.Room 2 on ground floor.

When we arrived at gateof the b&b, we were first greeted by the seabreeze and the scent of the sea as the pebbly beach was just on the other side of Brighton Road. I had a friend with me who had not booked a room and with a change of rooms from single to twin she could stay there as well.
