We enjoyed our stay at the Pine Lodge. The owners were very helpful. They gave us great directions and offered good suggestions for things to do. Breakfast was included and tasty. It was a bit away from the action but that worked for us and we loved Porth Beach. We would recommend and will stay there again.

Here at Gllyngvase, we are proud of the breakfasts we can offer our guests, with an extensive breakfast menu comprising of continental and more traditional options. "Seriously single room!"
The guest house was very pleasant but the single room was seriously single - lucky I didn't want to swing the cat! Also it was not made obvious that this room had to share a bathroom down the corridor, it just says 'Bathroom amenities include a hair dryer.' "A good value for money guest house."

As a mature couple on a much needed holiday we found the Gyllyngvase house hotel very accomodating,especially after a long journey we arrived before our 4pm check in time, as our room was ready we were checked in early which was great.All the staff were very friendly and could not do enough to make our stay a good one. I Have now stayed at the Gyllyngvase Hotel on two occasions and my stay on both occasions was made very enjoyable by the comfort and courtesy provided by this hotel. I don't hesitate to recommend this hotel to all. It is very close to the beach area and a five minute walk from the town centre. "OK if you don't mind being cold"
Arrived on cold wet night with no-fuss welcome. Room was cold and felt damp, probably as a result of the central heating being turned off and wet weather conditions outside. No supplementary heating available in room so resorted to switching on lights to generate heat! Black mould in shower cubicle, again probably resulting from the fact that there […] was no heating and the electric wall heater in the en-suitewas not functioning. Parking in this area can be a problem if the small car park at the hotel is already full. Breakfast is waiter served and is of average quality. Biggest issue with breakfast was that sauce was requested and brought to the table in a small ramakin pot and had obviously been sitting in the pot for a long time as a thick skin had developed and the sauce had started to separate into its constituent parts! Why didn't the waitress see this potential health hazard? The price charged for B&B is not good value and only compensated by the free wi-fi albeit with low signal strength in my room. Whole guest house was clean, tidy and nicely decorated. Staff were helpful and allowed us to book in earlier than advertised. The room was also very clean with very cool unpolished beach feel furniture. The bed was comfortable and the en suite clean. Plenty of good food for breakfast with a good choice. Wir hatten zu dritt das Zimmer 17, Familienzimmer, jedoch für 3 Personen ca. nur 15m²,zu wenig Ablageflächen, keine Nachttische. Bad reparaturbedürftig. Das Hotel Gyllyngvase House liegt zentral. Der Strand Gyllyngvase Beach ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuss zu erreichen. Der Hafen mit dem Museum und vielen Restaurants ist auch in etwas mehr als 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Es gibt einen ausreichend großen Parkplatz vor dem Hotel. Das Hotel hat einen sehr schönen Garten. Die Terasse und die Gartenmöbel könnten etwas […] häufiger gereinigt werden. Unser Zimmer Nr. 5 lag im ersten Stock und hatte Fenster zur Nebenstrasse. Es gab etwas Schimmel an den Fenstern. Das Bett war groß aber durchgelegen. Das Frühstück war exzellent und vielfältig. Auf spezielle Wünsche wurde eingegangen.
