Check in was easy, desk staff person was very helpful. Checkout again was very easy with very friendly desk person. The room was clean and comfortable. All in all, I was very satisfied, thank you.

Was pleasantly by the cleanliness if the hotel and the location. They are very accommodating, loved that they had laptops that you could use in their lounge and there were snacks throughout the day that you could have all complimentary. Will definitely stay there again. I parked my car in their garage and didn't need it till I left.

The hotel is ideally located if you are attending meetings near the center of Gatineau. The service is good, although nothing to write home about, they are very polite, although you may find yourself waiting for 15 minutes at a time if there is a queue at the help desk. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, my only complaint is the shower faucet which is overly sensitive, quickly going from freezing cold to scalding hot.
Location.
Situated in Ottawa, Saint Paul University Residence & Conference Centre is close to Brantwood Park, Rideau Canal, and Parliament Hill. Also nearby are National Gallery of Canada and University of Ottawa.

The hotel offers a restaurant. Guests are served a complimentary breakfast each morning. Wireless Internet access is complimentary in public areas. Business amenities include a 24-hour business center, small meeting rooms, and audio-visual equipment. The staff can arrange event catering and business services. "Great option for the cost"
If you are on a tight travel budget, this is probably the best option you have. You get the basic needs for your travel- quiet location, quiet neighboring rooms, free continental breakfast, spacious air conditioned room, and close to downtown Ottawa. I have seens many guests with small children. Bed is ok, (acceptable) - don't forget what you are paying. […] I am a bit concerned about pets (dogs and cats)- in case you are allergic to pets. "S P U Resicency in Ottawa"
They did not have extra facilities but room was clean and big enough with dinning area. For the price, it was pretty good for me.

Great suite. Mattress was a little inferior - springs weren't the best. No mattress cover so the bottom sheet was right against the mattress. Not very hygienic. Bathroom floor still had dubious looking hair from last customers. Otherwise, good.

Clean, utilitarian rooms; quiet; friendly desk staff; close to bus line and easy walk to small restaurants. Came to Ottawa for the Tulip Festival, and to visit Parliament and museums. Simple but adequate breakfast 7am-10am. Microwave and refrigerator, but no coffee maker.

"Quiet location close to sights of Ottawa"
A suite at St. Paul's Conference Centre was large with kitchenette. There was a large window in the kitchenette which made it very pleasant. It was quiet and picturesque because it was off the road behind other buildings of the university and had lots of large trees around it. Very friendly staff with a two bedroom kitchenette that can't be beat. The free breakfast was great too.
"Simple but nice"
Except the beds' quality (I did feel every single spring in my back and knees all night long), the suite we had was very pleasant : 2 bedrooms (perfect for a couple with chlidren), a bathroom and a little kitchen with a table and 2 chairs + fridge and microwave. Will definitely come back next time in Ottawa.

the best thing about this hotel is the two seperates rooms. Room service is not so good .one couple who was there for two weeks ,had'nt had their room done for a week. i was there only two days and we had to ask three times for our room to be cleaned. other than that everything was fine.the breakfast was good and included in the price.

This place is just as good if not better than many hotels that I have stayed in. Our air conditioned room had a kitchen area and two separate bedrooms each with a television, desk and double beds. The bathroom was very spacious and clean and the shower was very refreshing and clean. Our continental breakfast was satisfactory although I wish there were […] more choices such as muffins or some kind of pastry. The girls at the front desk were very friendly and helpful and definitely served us with a smile which is very important to us. We would definitely stay there again the next time we are in Ottawa. We have stayed here every summer for the past three years and find it very convenient. It's close to downtown and there's lots of space in the two rooms. The complimentary breakfast is always a plus.

We rented a two bedfroom unit which included a bathroom and kitchenette. the one thing lacking was a sitting area beryond the two kitchen chairs. Included was a continental style breackfast which was similar to that of many motels e.g. confort Inn. "Close to downtown, Great affordable place"
Located just outside of downtown Ottawa. The rooms have 2 bedrooms separated by a small kitchen furnished with a table and chairs. The rooms are not luxurious but the rate is great and we had everything we needed, including toiletries, towels, use of fridge and microwave, each room has a TV, plus we had access to wireless internet, and breakfast was […] included (cereals, toast and bagels!). The only negative thing I can think of is although the parking is free, the lot just outside of the hotel is small, but more parking is available still for free a short walk away. "Great place to stay"
Out of all the places we have stayed at in Ottawa, this was the best place. It provided a nice quiet room with all the things we needed. Good breakfast, good internet service, well maintained. I would highly recommend it to anyone and will be staying there next time we visit Ottawa!

"St Paul Residence-excellent option"
Clean, spacious and a good quality breakfast. If only it had a tea-coffee maker and a cartoon channel for my kid to watch on TV, i would have given it a perfect 10!
For the price it is a good deal, it's hard to find 2 bedrooms at that price, it offers privacy when traveling with others, there is a full size fridge and the place is fairly well kept, bring your own pillows though, and the sheets do not have the elastic that hugs the mattress. "Good for family & Close to Carleton"
We were looking for a place for the family to put up while visiting Carleton University. First impressions was that this may be a hostel as it did not have all the external show associated with hotels. Inside was homely room was nice and clean and 2 units offered privacy to parents & children. Overall it was more than what we had expected.
Very good location, not to far from all the attractions Ottawa has to offer.

Wow, les suites sont très biens et le prix avec Hôtel.com est extra. Le petit déjeuner est super. Nous sommes servis en français et c'est très apprécié, car Ottawa le bilinguisme (anglais/français) n'est pas toujours respecté. J'ai adoré ma nuit à cet endroit.

Les chambres propretés moyenne, extérieur pas entretenu malpropre. Déjeuner compris mais il manque de tout et le ravitaillement ne se fait pas rapidement ou pas du tout et le personnel pas très agréable.

residence correcte avec parking. petit déjeuner correct. ambiance sympa avec des étudiants pour la plupart.
Chambre très spacieuse , propre et bien équipée. Un peu de mal à trouver l'entrée de la résidence car l'université est grande. Bien située au calme mais un peu loin à pied du centre. Bon petit-déjeuner. Je recommande volontiers cet hôtel pour un séjour à Ottawa.

"Super Hotel außerhalb von Ottawa"
Zimmer war sehr gut & groß & sauber, Frühstück über (Motel-) Durchschnitt, Lage direkt am Fluss, sehr schön für Spaziergäng oder Joggen. Nach Ottawa rein sinds aber ein paar KM (am Fluss entlang).
