Overall very good stay, close to everything. The only and only issue is very limited close parking (when you need to load and unload your stuff) but then they have extra parking little further.

This residence suited us perfectly. Two rooms and a kitchen, plenty of space for two parents and two kids, very clean and quiet, pleasant and courteous staff, safe and quiet and convenient location (very close to Rideau Canal and only about a mile from Parliament) and even a solid continental breakfast. Only complaint is inadequate internet access -- […] but even there when I inquired about wifi in the room the staff was quick to offer to lend a computer cable for wired internet. An excellent value - we will return. If you are looking for amenities (pool, room service, chocolates on your pillow) this is not your place. Would stay again. While car transportation is required, everything is approx within 5-10 minute car ride and parking is reasonable in Ottawa. Only note is wifi available at lobby and is not accessible in all rooms, but wired access was available in all rooms.

I have stayed in a two bed room suite and both the rooms have a queen bed , TV and Ethernet ports. Lobby has a wifi and the rooms have wired internet connection. Breakfast is very good and housekeeping is also nice. A 5 min walk will take you to Rideau Canal where you can spend your evening. 10 dollars to the taxi will take you to downtown and you can […] see the parliament hill. The hotel is good. Is a bit far from downtown and the facilities are kind of old, however it is the cheapest hotel I could find. I didn't take advantage of the free breakfast, and the rooms have internet (no wifi though). Overall I recommend it, it's a good place to stay if you are attending a conference or have limited budget.

I read the reviews and for the most part I believe they're correct, maybe just a bit overrated. The building is actually a student housing that doubles as a hotel during the summer vacation. Most of the staff look like students working to make an extra buck in the summer. Located a 20 minute walk along the canal to downtown Ottawa, or a $10 Taxi ride. I have to rate this facility very highly. From check in to out, the staff could not do enough to help. The two bedroom suite whilst simply furnished was spotlessly clean. WouldI I stay again? At the rates that I payed I will stay no where else.

We booked four rooms and only one room had AC working. The room temperature was 84F. They only offer us two fans. We ware told by front desk nothing they can do about it, either take it or leave.

Great suite. Mattress was a little inferior - springs weren't the best. No mattress cover so the bottom sheet was right against the mattress. Not very hygienic. Bathroom floor still had dubious looking hair from last customers. Otherwise, good.
