Narita Excel Hotel Tokyu - Narita

It was nice to walk into a decent size room after staying in many small hotel rooms duing my vacation in Japan. I had enough space to lay open and organize my suitcase before my early flight. Nice pillows and big beds and I got a travel brush in the hotel bathroom goodie bag!

A very nice, clean hotel. Only issue we had was locating the shuttle bus from the Narita JR line Ended up taking a taxi; unfortunately, we had to take 2 taxis because of number of people and luggage. Overall, I was very pleased with the hotel and service.

Fantastic!! I would definitely stay at this hotel again in the future--and I am very picky. Great value! Easy and free shuttle to/from airport, downtown Narita, and mall shopping. Reasonably priced restaurant in hotel and free/nice swimming, exercise, sauna, and tennis faciltities.

The building is nice enough, even if old. My only gripe was that the shuttle bus from airport to the hotel is only once an hour in the afternoon. So because I missed mine i had to wait 50 minutes, after a long long flight.

The bed in this very small room was uncomfortable. The air conditioning did not cool the room very well. The furnishing were very cheap and outdated. The robes provided were very similar to hospital gowns provided in the United States. Slippers were in the room, but I think they are worm by other visitors. excellent place to stay at. there are 3 different restaurants and a bar. spa service, pool, gym, ect. the rooms and bathrooms are very big compared to other Japanese hotels and the service is excellent. there are free buses to the airport and to the train station and nearby mall with pickup. great place to start or end your journey in japan. near the […] station there are a lot of shops and restaurants. i didn't go to the mall but its a mall so it should speak by itself. definitely will consider it on my future visits. We decided after a 12 hour flight with 2 kids that another bus or train ride might be too much so we chose to stay close to the airport our first night. This hotel is about 15 mins away via a free shuttle. The staff did speak enough English and were very friendly. Rooms were a little in need of updating and very small (we had to book 2 rooms!) I really like the location. Not much around but had frequent shuttle service to downtown Narita and to airport to catch the train. Staff was very helpful. Stayed here years ago as well and would stay here again. spa and indoor pool very nice as well. Only 3 or 4 stations on tv.

We stayed here after arriving at Narita airport at 9:00 p.m. Since the trains into Tokyo stop running at 9:30, we did not think we could count on making it into our "permanent" quarters. This hotel is old. I don't like some of the outdated facilities eg. key, plug, and the charged public bathroom. But overall it is clean and comfortable. The public bathroom is good as I visited. One bad thing is the short of shuttle bus - most of the day they have only one per hour. Some other hotels nearby provide half-hour shuttles.

The room is old-fashion but in general OK. You get what you pay. English capacity of staff is better than other airport hotels at the similar price range and they also serve Western style breakfast. However, the shuttle bus to the airport or the Narita station does not run as frequent as other airport hotels.

One of the more affordable hotels in this very central location. It is just across from the South Entrance of Tokyo Station. Rooms are a little small, but you would need to pay a lot more to be in another hotel with larger rooms. Room is clean and beds very comfortable. First, a word about Expedia and the Excel Tokyu's policies ... GREAT. We booked an earlier stay at the hotel, but due to the weather our flight was delayed and we missed our connecting flight. So we could not keep the reservation. Expdia negotiated this last minute cancellation and were able to the elimination the cancellation fee. Moreover, we promptly […] received our refund. Regarding the hotel, as a place to bed down for a late arrival - early next day departure and for the very reasonalble value we got for early booking (6 months in advance) it was a good deal, However, if we booked only one month in advance, it seems it would not have been a good deal. This hotel is a very decent airport hotel. It's well worth the money spent. It's only about 10-15 minutes by hotel shuttle bus. The room is not too small compared to other hotels in Japan. The room condition is quite new.

The shower had only cold water in the morning, since the heating failed. Personnel was just sorry for the inconvenience but didn't offer any alternative solutions than showering cold. Doctors do, however, not recommend pregant women to take cold showers.

Everything was very nice and everyone answered questions well and in a helpful manner. It had good internet and the included breakfast had enough western food to satisfy. We only stayed over one night. The hotel staff were very pleasant. Although the rooms were a little outdated, the rooms were large for Japanese hotels. The beds were a little on the hard side. The breakfast buffet was expensive but well worth it. This was the best breakfast buffet we attended during our two weeks stay in Japan.

We spent one night at Excel hotel Tokyo for flight transfer. We like the hotel. Very clean, very fast check in and out, convenient shuttle to airport and Aeon Mall. Great breakfast. Very friendly staff. We had a 11 yo kid and the room has 3 large beds. Very nice.
