"A smelly experience"
We checked into our hotel and went to the room. The room had an incredibly strong odour of rotten cheese and the air con did not work. We were on our way out for the rest of the day so I told the front desk about the problem and the lady at the front desk assured us that it would be fixed upon our return. When we returned the smell was worse and the air con still did not work. We asked to be moved to another room, but it seemed like we were asking for the world. The new person at the front desk actually seemed to think we should stay in the smelly room as it was. It took about 45 min. for the person at the front desk to relent and move us to a new room. I generally do not complain about my hotel experiences, but this one was pretty bad. The customer service at this hotel from start to finish was pretty indifferent at best. If that is something that is important to you, look elsewhere.

"comfortable, clean, convenient"
I stayed on both ends of my European vacation and found this to be quiet, comfortable and clean with a good airport shuttle that was free and convenient. The bed and linens were very inviting. I had the breakfast buffet and it was awesome but not included in the price. I would recommend this for an overnight stay like mine.

"Perfect for the airport"
We hadn't stayed at a Kyriad Hotel before but it sounded OK on the reports from the other travellers. We were very pleased that we chose to do so. The reception staff were excellent and were fluent in English if necessary. The check in process was quick and painless. The rooms are OK, a reasonable size and with good facilities including tea making. The restaurant was adequate and we had excellent service from the staff. We had to leave at 5am for the airport but breakfast was on offer form 3am. There is a shuttle service to the airport which is only a few minutes away. I should add that you would t know this when in your room.

"You get what you pay for"
The hotel is functional, inexpensive and convenient if you have a very early flight and don’t want the hassle of getting to the airport from Lyon in the wee hours of the morning. The room was basic but satisfactory except that the TV was mounted crookedly on the wall and the ventilation system was noisy. I found the service quite poor at the bar and at the reception desk (the desk staff gave me conflicting information about the frequency airport shuttle and I received no service at the bar despite asking twice at the reception desk – I waited 15 minutes for the bartender to serve me before I gave up). I forgot a personal item in the room and, when I called the next day to see if it had been found, I was made to feel that I was wasting their time. Next time I will stay at one of the other nearby hotels.

"Bad hotel, staff & service"
I will never stay here again!! Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights...very noisy...no one even came to clean my room, staff at reception not helpful at all...at times when u need to ask for help or something they tell u to wait a little and then help u after talking to each other or staring at the computer screen..even asked one night if it's possible for them to order pizza for delivery to the hotel as I'm not familair with French ornplaces that does it and the answer I got was "if u want pizza go to the airport u have pizza hut there...so for me the quality of service & friendliness was very very poor!! I will not recommend this hotel

"Convenient airport hotel"
I needed a hotel room for a night before my flight back to the UK. This hotel is a short distance from the airport at Lyon and they run a free shuttle bus. The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was OK - nothing special for either dinner or breakfast. But overall did what was needed at a sensible price

"Dissatisfying"
The hotel is really rather far from the airport. I almost missed my flight because I was rejected access to the airport shuttle in favour of a flight crew, even though I had made an appointment with the hotel staff for that precise time the evening before. So I had to wait for the next shuttle and run for my flight. And the hotel staff didn't even apologise for not keeping the appointment! Just keep away from this hotel!

"Great Hotel close to airport very clean"
Stayed over night, was picked up at airport and booked in within a few minutes. Room was very comfortable and clean. Dinner in Resturant was very pleasant and food was excellent . The waitress was very helpful and the service great. We will stay at this Hotel if the occasion presents it self again. The shuttle bus in the morning left on time and was at the airport within 5 minutes. We stayed on the 29th of June and the Hotel was not very busy.

"Transportation to airport"
The double room was very tiny with barely enough room for one person. It was way over priced. The shuttle to and from the airport was very fast and convenient. The fact that the restaurant did not open till 19:00 for dinner was a problem. This was way to late to eat. Arriving after it closed for lunch and had wait till 19:00.

"Convenient location, fast in and out..."
Small rooms, small tv screen....but efficient layout. Good stay except of abrupt awakenings of slamming doors !!! I figured out a way not to slam mine....either others didn't know or didn't care... change the knobs or something to take it out of guests hands to make this a pleasant stay or not for others.

The internet in the room is very poor. I know it is a free service but if it doesn't work there isn't much point in having it. The restaurant I chose the salad buffet for a starter and there was not a lot of choice and what was left looked like it had been stood there all day. I chose the Lamb joint this time when it arrived it was overcooked and very dry. My last trip to this hotel i had the same issue with the salad buffet but i made the mistake of ordering the beef steak which was more fat than meat. I hope you take my comments into account as i was not the only unsatisfied customer eating in your establishment.

"A fairly standard airport hotel"
We arrived early evening and checked in expeditiously. Having eaten a late lunch, we did not take an evening meal in the hotel. The bed was comfortable but we needed another pillow. One was requested from reception but it never came. Shower was very efficient although the mechanism that changes water direction from bath taps to shower was not very easy to use. Breakfast was good - lots of choice and the scrambled egg was excellent. Check out was easy. The (free) car park was large wirh plenty of space. Excellent free WiFi. Our room was very quiet - no traffic or aircraft noise could be heard with the window shut. The heating/air-conditioning mechanism completely defeated us - we tried to warm the rather chilly room up but had to give up. Television was so-so - a lot of French channels (to be expected in a French hotel) but the only English-speaking channel was CNN and more English-speaking channels would have been welcome. (The room information said that BBC World was available. It most certainly was not.). There was a free shuttle from the hotel to the airport but we used our rental car and did not use the shuttle facility. The room itself, whilst perfectly acceptable, was rather "tired" and beginning to show its age. For example, the towels still had Kyriad Satolas embroidered on them. Lyon Airport changed its name from Satolas to St Exupery fourteen years ago. The hotel grade is three stars. Two stars would probably be more accurate.

"Good location by lyon airport"
The restaurant staff could have been more friendly. I took a glass of red form this region: a "Cotes du Rhone" with my meal, for some reason the wine was chilled!!! I ask the staff when she came to clear my plate as no waiting staff has bothered to ask if everything was OK during the meal. I was told it was chilled because they kept the wine box in the fridge. the person in charge of the restaurant was the one who gave me the answer, and it did not bother her to tell me as it was normal that this type of wine should be served chilled which is not, I thought french waiting staff are among the best . not is this restaurant.

"Great -Nasty"
We arrived at the hotel at 1:00 Pm and were surprised that the young man at the front desk was able to let us have our room early. We were tired from travel and this was a nice surprise. He was very friendly and gave us information about where to return our Renault car. He also set up our shuttle time for 5:00 AM as we had a 8:00 AM departure. He happened to be leaving the hotel at the end of his shift just as we were going to return the car. He offered to pass that way so we would be certain to find the correct return office. We truly appreciated this. Much to our surprise when we returned to the hotel and were asked if we needed a wake up call we were told that there were no places on the 5:00 Am shuttle.This is now at 4:oo Pm and we did not understand why the change. It also meant that we had to get up at 4:00 AM for the 4:30 shuttle. The young man at the counter was arrogant and we felt very incomfortable. We then went to dinner and the waiter treated us in much the same manner. The young man who drove us to the airport was very helpful and friendly. We were disappointed that our trip had to end on this note and will not return to Kyraid on our next trip.

"Lyon stopover"
I was very pleased with this hotel. I needed a nights stopover from an international to a domestic flight next day and this was perfect. There was an airport shuttle for the very short trip to and from the hotel. While I was not sure where to pick up the shuttle via the courtesy phone at the airport arrangements were made and it went well. The staff spoke better English than my French so this was great. Friendly and helpful staff. Although close to the airport the room was very quiet. Clean comfy and would recommend to others or stay again.

"Perfect hotel for overnight stay"
Perfect for overnight stay before or after travelling from the airport. The hotel is 5min drive from the Terminals. They offer 24hour complimentary shuttle from hotel to airport. The room & bathroom are in very good condition. The bed was very comfy. A full breakfast buffet (great choices with eggs too) is available from 3am! Definately recommend this hotel if you travelling from the airport.

Surtout ne pas dîner - niveau cantine scolaire au prix d'un restaurant classique - cependant personnel du restaurant très accueillants mais la note reste en travers et le buffet et plat de résistance à moitié consommé - pas de dessert...OUF!! La chambre - propreté moyenne - pour sur avec le passage, on ne réserve pas pour visiter autour, donc logique!! Le vivre pour le côté pratique à 90€ le bout.

Struttura buona con l'indispensabile, vicina all'aeroporto. Camera comoda, ma fastidioso l'odore di fumo che era presente. Il ristorante potrebbe offrire piatti migliori. La colazione è sufficiente, anche se il prezzo. richiesto a parte, sembra un po' eccessivo (10 euro a persona). Complessivamente è un albergo adatta a soggiornare 1 notte vicino all'aeroporto.

L'hôtel a été utilisé que pour le retour à la maison via l'aéroport de Lyon. L'hôtel est ordinaire. Ce qui fait défaut est en majeure partie le service de navette. On doit les appeler. Il nous promette d'être à l'aéroport dans 30 minutes même si l'aéroport n'est qu'à moins de 5 minutes. Cependant, la navette ne se présente pas à l'heure convenue, même 45 minutes après l'appel initial. Il a donc fallu près d'une heure pour voir apparaître la navette. Le service WIFI est d'assez basse qualité, se déconnectant souvent. Côté gastronomie, on ne dirait pas qu'on est en France. C'est assez ordinaire pour ne pas dire de piètre qualité. Le bar à salade avait l'Air d'une zone de bombardement VRAIMENT TRÈS DÉCU

"Perfect for a short stay"
The hotel was perfect for a short stay especially for a traveler arriving late in the evening.The shuttle service from the terminal to hotel was convenient and driver very helpful. Since I arrived very late, around midnight and everything was closed they were able to provide a small meal (Hot) and cold beer within 15 minutes of me checking in, Room very small but comfortable and clean, Breakfast was good and above all the staff were very friendly.

Hôtel confortable et proche à 5 minutes en navette de l'aéroport St Exupery avec un Chauffeur Aimable qui vous accueille et vous aide pour les bagages. J'ai pu profiter du restaurant avec ma fille avant qu'elle reparte. Hôtel AMI des Animaux ! J'ai pu garder l'après-midi dans la chambre mon petit chien avant qu'il reparte avec ma fille. Tout le personnel est souriant et chaleureux en commençant par la jeune femme à l'accueil, le restaurant et aussi les femmes de chambre qui m'ont aidé pour mes nombreux bagages. Chambre Propre ! Avec petit biscuit, thé, café. Pas d'avis pour le petit déjeuner je ne mange pas le matin. C'est un Hotel que je recommande volontiers que je retournerais sûrement lors de mon prochain escale sur Lyon aéroport.

"Calme"
Accueil un peu froid d'un monsieur à la réception. Sinon OK, idéalement placé si vous devez aller à l'aéroport. Calme, pas de bruit d'avions

"완벽했지만 걸어가기엔 위치가 아쉬운 호텔"
리옹 떼제베 생텍쥐페리 역에서 걸어갈 때 불편했던거 빼놓고는 다 좋았어요. 편안히 쉴 수 있어 좋았지만 공항에서 셔틀 위치와 시간을 알아두시고 움직이시면 더 편안한 숙박 하실 수 있을 것 같아요
