Hotel was in a great location, room had everything although the light on the landing was very bright, which meant I had to put pillows at the bottom of the door to block out the light. apart from that it was fine.

Good location 5 minutes walk from Wimbledon train station and a Sainsbury's 200 yards up the road. Free wifi was good. Nice, freshly cooked breakfast available. Staff were helpful. Only problem was the 'basic' single room which was very small and getting to the bathroom involved going down stairs to the reception area. This basic single room was cheaper […] than the standard single (with en-suite) and the receptionist did remind me at check-in that the basic single I had booked had no en-suite so I'm not complaining about it, but if you can afford to pay a little extra I would recommend avoiding the basic single rooms. I thought my stay was good value for money. There is free wireless internet, the rooms are decorated nice, staff are friendly and the location is awesome being minutes from Wimbledon shops and train station. Would definitely stay again!

I had the single room without en suite...it was very cramped at less than 6ft wide, without even a sink and had an incredibly uncomfortable bed. The bathroom was some distance away on a different floor (in fact just next to reception) so everyone can see you in bathroom attire. Nice people but single rooms very cramped. Never did find the swimming pool though! My room was ground floor and backed onto the outdoor smoking area with the access door right next to my windows. The hotel is within 5 minutes walking distance of Wimbledon railway station with shops, banks and restaurants all within 10 minutes. On arrival the receptionist (new to the hotel) was uncomfortable with both my wife and I being visually impaired and my wife having a guide dog. She put us in room 4. This was obviously kitted out as a single room as […] the bed was against the wall and there was only 1 of each item in the room ,e.g. mug soap towel bedside table etc. Moving around this room proved a challenge for two adults and a guide dog. Having left us, she came back within 5 minutes with a second mug and towel. The bathroom had a shower cubicle which needed a non-slip mat! The base becoming very slippery as soap and water washed away. Normally I would have protested however we were going to be late for the theatre so we left it. Next morning was completely different. The service was friendly and efficient, the breakfast was basic but sufficient. A range of cereals and muesli with fruit juice followed by a full English or pick your own from the full English items. . If you use this hotel make sure you get a room at the back as the road in front is busy late into the night. Overall we liked the hotel and will stay there again primarily for its easy access by mainline or tube to any part of London and beyond. Read more

ホテルというより、B&Bのようでした。ウィンブルドン駅に近く、ロンドン中心部に行くのにとても便利。駅近くにこじんまりとしたショッピングセンターやお店が並んでいますが、駅からハイストリートを上がった所にも個性的なお店が並んでいます。ウィンブルドンコモンにも近く、ウィンブルドンの町並みも綺麗なので、散歩が好きな人には最高かも。ホテルそのものは大きな家を改築してB&Bにしたような感じ。家族経営と聞きましたがそんな感じ。部屋は清潔ですが、シャワー施設が部屋によって当たり外れがありました。（最上階の部屋は斜めになっている屋根に頭がついてしまうとか、シャワーだけとか）駐車場もあります。朝食は典型低なイングリッシュブレックファースト。夕食も少し歩けばレストランが沢山あります。コインランドリーの場所をフロン […] トに聞いた時、さっと周辺地図を出してくれて、ホテルの場所とコインランドリーの場所に印をつけてくれたことに好感を持ちました。 Read more
