This is a great place to stay at if you are looking to stop in Germany before entering France, which is located about 1/3 mile away. The room was very clean, the front desk very helpful. The bed was comfortable, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cheap alternative to staying in the downtown area of Saarbrucken, the capital city of the smallest state in Germany. The downtown area is about 5-7 minutes away by car, if a visit to this medieval city would be of interest. It is easy to navigate, and I would recommend to anyone wanting to have best access to France & Germany.

Nice room, kind staff. It's a boutique hotel, so you don't expect many amenities. But it was very clean, and a good location for me. The price was unbeatable.

This was a good hotel, but a lack of parking right on site made for a little distance to travel the night I got there at 9:15. However, the hotel was decent, and located right in the middle of downtown Saarbrucken. The room was clean and comfortable and front desk was helpful. Breakfast was decent, but nothing special. Essentially continental, and expensive, I thought. But I would still recommend it, primarily for its location.

This is an ideal stop over hotel. We stayed here to break our journey from France (Alsace) to Spa (Belguim). The view of the citadel is wonderful.... Pleasant staff. Très bon accueil. Chambres propres avec un effort de personnalisation . Salles de bain un peu démodées mais très bien entretenues . Très bonne restauration copieuse mais fine. Peu de choix dans le buffet de petit déjeuner mais pain et viennoiseries excellents.tres bon séjour .

Or , la partie hôtel du relais est constituée par un bâtiment des années 70 bien entretenu mais très mal isolé . La chambre était restée plusieurs jours inoccupée et le chauffage à notre arrivée était réglé en position […] économique.Lit absolument glacial . Das Hotel Relais de Châteaux Forts ist ländlich im kleinen Bitche gelegen. Das Dorf selbst ist sehr ruhig und ausser der Citadelle und dem nahe gelegenen Golf-Platz ist nicht viel los. Aber für einen entspannenden Nachmittagsspaziergang allemal gut. Das Hotel selbst ist schlicht gehalten und verfügt über die nötigen Annehmlichkeiten die man so braucht. […] Das dazugehörige Restaurant bietet solide bis gute Küche zu einem fairen Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis (viele Einheimische kommen auch um dort zu essen). Das Personal ist stets sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und die Sauberkeit der Zimmer ist hervorragend. Einziger Punkt ist, dass das Foto auf der hiesigen Homepage nicht unbedingt das Hotel in seinem aktuellen Zustand zeigt (von aussen). Read more
