The location could not be any better. We could see the Dom from our window! The hotel pub was perfect, the room was modern and clean, and the restaurant had the best breakfast I've ever seen! The room was small, but hey, this is Europe, not the US. Restaurants, shops, and museums (including the chocolate museum) were all walkable. We are def. going to stay there again!

It was a wonderful stay. The service industry in Germany varies greatly from that in the US. Keep your expectations in check. The hotel was very close to the Dom, train station, and several attractions we could simply walk to. Over all, it was a good value for this time of year.

We chose this hotel as we were not sure whether the inner city would be accessible by car during the carnival (it wasn't). This hotel is across the river from the city - about 30 minutes on foot to the Cathedral. The facilities were excellent - particularly the pool/spa complex. The pool is long enough to swima few strokes and the sauna, steam bath and jacuzzi were enjoyable. The buffet breakfast was copious and with a wide choice,

Stayed one night here on same day notice. Pricing was lower than expected for type of accommodations and the location to surrounding attractions. Only... complaint was that the bed we slept on the springs were sagging right at the place where you would put your pillow which was slightly annoying and it was probably just that room. Auf dem Betttuch fanden wir deutlich sichtbare Blutflecken und auch die Handtücher hatten Flecken, so dass wir uns nicht wohlgefühlt haben. Das Doppelbett war winzig (140cm) und wir haben uns ernsthaft gefragt, wie das Ehepaare machen, die nicht so schlank sind wie wir. Hotellet var mycket fint och imponerande i sin storlek. Det såg lite maplplacerat ut med detta jättehotell i skogen utanför den lilla staden Bad Honnef. Jag tillbringade bara nätterna och morgnarna på hotellet eftersom jag var i Bad Honnef för att besöka en god vän från förr.

De ontvangst was heel goed, de kamer was goed in orde maar het bed liet echt te wensen over : slechte matrassen en slechtruikende hoofdkussens ( niet prettig). Het ontbijt was heel goed. Wij zouden zeker terug keren indien het echt goede bedden en proper beddegoed zou zijn, want de ligging is ook heel goed om te wandelen.

Wenn man ins Internet wollte ging das kostenfrei nur per Kabel und dazu musste man am Schreibtisch sitzen, da das Kabel sehr kurz war. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und lecker. Für einen kurzen Besuch in Unkel am Rhein suchte ich im Internet für meine Frau und mich ein bezahlbares Doppelzimmer (< 100 EUR). So bin ich auf Ihr Hotel mit dem eigenartigen Namen gekommen. Ich bin kein Freund von Grosshotels und auch nicht von Vorauszahlung, aber Ihr Angebot stimmte. Nun sind wir wieder zuhause und rückschauend kann ich Ihre Anfrage […] auf einen Kommentar einfach beantworten: Ihr Hotel ist sehr in Ordnung was Qualität und Preis betrifft. Ihr Hotel zu erreichen war allerdings sehr mühsam. Unser NAVI versagte angesichts der vielen Baustellen und auf Ihr Hotel hinweisende Tafeln fehlten. Endlich angekommen auf dem grosszügigen Parkplatz wurden wir durch einen sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Herrn und (anderntags) Dame am Empfang entschädigt. „Unser“ Zimmer (NR) war üblich eingerichtet, im Platz eher knapp bemessen, mit gutem Bett und nachts ruhig. Alles war wie fast neu und sehr sauber. Ein echter Aufsteller war jeweils das Frühstück: Sehr heller Raum, locker betischt, reichhaltiges Buffet mit seltenen drei Sorten Eierspeisen und Lachs (nur am Wochenende?) und sehr freundlichen, flinken Bedienungs-Damen. Zoals de titel al zegt, was het een goede overnachtingsplek. De kamer was echter aan de kleine kant, zodat je er niet echt langere tijd kunt verblijven. Verder weinig aan te merken: goed ontbijt, lekkere cocktail in de bar en een goede biergarten :-).

Die Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten im Hotel sind hell, freundlich und abwechslungsreich. Sehr liebevoll ist die überall vorhandene Wihnachtsdekoration. Die Zimmer erinnern an kleine Waben, Reisende mit mehr Gepäck sind schnell "Bewegungsunfähig" in dem kleinen Raum. Das Frühstücksbüfett ist toll. Das gesamte Personal sehr freundlich.

Als Tagungshotel OK. Das Hotel liegt im Grünen, für Autofahrer gut geeignet. Gemessen an den öffentlichen Foyerflächen, Korridoren etc. ist die Zimmer sehr bescheiden und klein.

Sehr zufrieden, wenn auch die Zimmer ziemlich eng sind, aber trotzdem akzeptabel. Negativ: Die Betten als Doppelbett mit 1,40 relativ schmal und schlecht die durchgehende Matratze, auf der man sich gegenseitig sehr leicht stört. Besser: Getrennte Matratzen, noch besser: Getrennte Betten!

Das Hotel liegt ungünstig, weit ab vom nächsten Ort; man benötigt immer ein Taxi wenn man sich an die Promilleregelung halten will. dafür sehr ruhig. Ein Witz ist die an eine Jugendherberge erinnernde Check-Out Zeit von 10:00. Für ein 3 Sterne Hotel, das soviel kostet wie in Berlin ein gutes 4 Sterne, einfach unakzeptabel. Hotel liegt zwar etwas abgelegen und ist erst mal schwer zu finden trotz Navi aber sehr gemütlich und sauber. Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr vielfältig, wenn die Damen mit Auffüllen nachkommen. Preis/Leistungverhältnis passt auf jeden Fall und wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Das Hotel liegt am Ortsrand, mitten im Wald und ist daher sehr ruhig. Es gibt etliche Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe (Drachenfelsen, Adenauer- Haus), aber auch Städte wie Bonn, Köln oder Koblenz sind schnell zu erreichen. Für Wanderer optimal, da guter Ausgangspunkt für etliche Wanderwege. Die Zimmer sind sauber, die Betten komfortabel, aber etwas schmal.
