All was great in the room except they hadn't vacuumed the carpet - there were crumbs all over the floors when we went in....then at 12 midnight I awoke to hear someone putting their card in the door....I got up and went to the door to look out and saw a young man jump up and kick the door karate style twice - I ran to the phone and called front desk. The young girl was there alone and said she would call police...heard friends down the hall telling the man that wasn't his room. He left. But 2 minutes later the room above me became a battle ground...people yelling...stuff being thrown around...women crying.....then like bodies hitting the floor...I called front desk to tell them. Don't know what happened as within 10 minutes all was quiet and no more problems. Won't be staying there again...scared me as I was staying there alone with my 8 year old grand-daughter who was woken up twice with all the noise.

Was a good place to spend the night, beds were very comfortable for my wife and myself. Stayed here because hotels are too expensive on the weekends in Galveston, wasn't very far at all from Galveston. Breakfast was a little more than the usual continental, had some microwavable breakfast sandwiches and pancake sausage sticks. Would stay here again for sure. Hotel was very close to interstate but not right beside it so noise level was very good, several eateries right around it also, as well as shopping centers.

"Nice hotel, but not close to beaches"
Overall I liked the hotel. The property is relatively new, & in very good condition. The rooms are comfortable, & the bathrooms are clean. Negatives: Breakfast was very marginal. No eggs or any type of breakfast meats offered. Waffles could have been good, but unfortunately there was no spray for the wafflemaker, (waffles come out chewed up). "Good, but.........."
This is the 4th time to stay here. It has always been on the first floor. The corridor outside the room is ceramic and very clean. Upon checking in this stay, we were sent to a room on the 3rd floor. The air temperature upon entry was 93 degrees, the unit not on. The carpeting adjacent to the room and all along the corridor from the elevator is NASTY […] and smelly. For these reasons we insisted a room change to the first floor for which the clerk was reluctant to do. We prevailed. For future stays, we will insist on the first floor. "Nice hotel"
I had a nice stay in Kemah at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The people in the room before did not make the coffee right and the coffee pot was not cleaned but I dont drink coffee I was just going to brew it for the smell. The hotel staff was very rude.We had a bad spot on one of the chairs , and we brought it to the attention of the staff as to not be blamed for the spot. "Location to Boardwalk"

My husband and I stayed here one night while we went to Kemah Boardwalk and we were not thrilled with the service or the fact that they close their indoor pool @ 8pm. I think it should stay open 24 hours since we paid for it! Also there was only 1 towel and 1 rag in the bathroom and after using the towel it was not replaced. When I called the front […] desk to tell them about the towels they told me to come get them instead of bringing them up to me. Also breakfast was pretty much serve urself cereal fruit and make ur own waffles. The bathroom in the lobby was also pretty dirty. I stayed at this hotel with my girlfriend for 2 nights, mainly for it's location and from the good reviews it had. The hotel was almost brand new, which is a big plus. The staff was mostly nice. One problem I had was with requesting clean towels. I asked 3 different workers, the first said OK and closed the door on me....the second said ok as well...the […] third said "oh you will have to wait we have none clean"....and they never knocked on my room to say "here's your towels". The Super 8 is very close to everything that happens in Kemah. Thier breakfast leaves a LOT to be desired! There are many great places to eat breakfast in Kemah, so no big deal about non-existent breakfast at the Super 8. My wife and I are smokers. I will not stay in a "smoking" room, they really do stink, but I don't mind going outside to smoke. Für ein Super 8 würde ich sagen: absolut herausragend. Hotel ist frisch renoviert, Zimmer war riesig (standardzimmer), Betten waren auch gut, Sauberkeit ebenfalls.
