Continental breakfast was good. Room was clean. Staff were friendly and prompt. the lotion in the room was stinky. The immediate neighborhood was drab but not far off from attractions.

The hotel and staff was great. Staff was very helpful and called us a cab to get to the Barclays Center. The AC wasnt working in our room and when i called front desk they had someone come up within 10 min and it was fixed. Great all around experience. Very close to shopping and food. I would stay here again.

Generally... almost everything about the room was fine... except for the size of the room itself. My friends and I rented 2 rooms. My room was a double. If we had added a 3rd person to our room... we wouldn't have all fit. Imagine 2 women trying to get dressed for an event and feeling like we are hovering over each other each time we turn. In order […] for me to get to the rest room. I had to hop over the bed. We ended up tilting my friends bed slightly so that we wouldn't have to climb over the bed in order to get to the bathroom. The King room my friend got seemed to have a bit more space, but as much as I care for my buddy... I don't want to have to sleep in the same bed with her just so we can have space to exist in the room. Luckily the bed was so comfortable we forgot how small the overall spaced seemed. Read more

It was so hard to get parking, asked for a quite room in the back because of the train running in the front, had to pay extra money for the move. Will not stay there again.

The room and the bathroom was very clean and modern. The bed and the pillows were FABULOUS! I slept like a rock. Plus we got there early enough to get a free parking space! I was kind of leery because the price was on the lower side of the hotels we looked at in Brooklyn, but I was very pleasantly surprised!

Hotel's in New york that isn't sadly overpriced is rare and I didn't had high expectations at this place. The street looks a bit rough with the subway very close but very convenient with parking at the backside of the hotel plus that service was just great. As I parked my car the staff had already packed my luggages (which was a lot) to a carrier so […] I could easily put into the elevator. Rooms were also a bit better than I thought, very clean with nice bed. Breakfast also pretty nice for US standards even though the lack of good bread seem to be standard at pretty much all hotels I've been to my many trips in USA. The street just outside is boring but it's close walking distance to nice areas of Brooklyn so I think this is a good place to stay for this money they charge. Read more

or was I in BedStuy? Atlantic and Nostrand is the location. It's intimidating to look at the neighborhood with the Long Island Railway coming out of the ground right in front of the hotel and mostly tire shops around you but the hotel was really nice. We had a totally comfy, quiet room and everything was copasetic. Close to the Blue Line into Manhattan. […] A long walk from the G line but we did it and went to Williamsburg for an evening show.... got a bus back almost to our door. Many bakeries, etc. Not a long walk to an area with tons of hip coffee spots and restaurants. Would be a long walk to the museum, park, etc. but could be done. It was great. I arrived 3 hours prior to their check-in time with luggage as I had a meeting to attend and though my room was not available they stored my luggage and brought it to my room once I checked in later in the afternoon

Poor location in a fairly sketchy neighborhood! L train right across the street was convenient , service was sketchy at check in time but got better when Cleopatra came in! The hotel and room accomodations were exceptional. Eventhough I knew the hotel was new, it was better than expected. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of lighting. The only downfall I can think of was the location. The public train track was located directly in front of the hotel with all the concrete pillars which took away from the scenery. […] The pillows could have been more firm-way too soft for my liking. Overall a very pleasant stay however the limited parking was extremely limited (probably less than 10 spots). Street parking was hard to find and a little complicated so I ended up parking in a garage because it was late at night. Stayed here to attend a concert at Barclay center. It is close to subway and LIRR. The neighborhood is gritty, but didn't feel unsafe walking at night. I wouldn't want to be alone though. The staff at hotel are friendly and helpful. The room extremely clean and bed was really comfortable. Great for a quiet night sleep! I would go back!

This is a bare bones hotel. The people at the front desk were very courteous. The room was fine, but the walls are very thin. We brought a white noise machine and that helped. If you aren't familiar with the area and not look hard enough, you will miss the hotel. Located on a main street which is great. The hotel has very limited parking and lucky for me I got the last spot and didn't move the car until check out. There were a few of downsides, location standing out the most. Although it wasn't far from the new Barclay Center, the neighborhood is not one of Brooklyn's finest. The rooms did have internet but a) it wasn't wi-fi & b) the ethernet cable are not present in the room yet I wasn't given one nor told this at check-in. Lastly, is the noise. I love this hotel. I stayed here with my girlfriend after the Jay-Z concert at the Barclays Center. It is a short 5 minute taxi ride away from the hotel, about a 20-25 minute walk.The hotel is very stylish and nice. Well worth the stay, especially if you are going to an event at the arena.

I think the hotel needs to put some street lights on the corner when one has to walk to get to the hotel via train. Hotel room and staff were great. No complaints. Gave a 3 overall because the hotel is in a not-so-great area, and is also right across the street from the train (a little loud at night, but not terrible). Also the hotel parking lot only has 8 spots so get there early (right around check-in time at 3pm) if you want one!
