All in all, a good place to stay. The internal stopper in my bathroom was disconnected from the sink so I just pulled it out and things were fine. Close to a Waffle House and gas and convenience store made my stay a plus. I would stay there again.

The room was nice. I wish there would have been more of a selection of places to go and dine. There is a gas station that is next to the hotel. In the early moring hours there was something that was happening that required the police to be involved and we were awaken to the sound of police over a pa system. They DO NOT have non-smoking rooms! Even though your reservation might indicate it, the rooms are not non-smoking, they have only been treated with the "smoke spray" that wears off after you turn on the A/C (we moved and still had a toxic room). The tub was nasty and had been resurfaced several times (different peeling layers). We all chose to wait […] until we got back home to shower. The beds were comfy, but the sheets had cigarette burn holes in them. We only chose to stay because the room was already paid for through Expedia. I have stayed at cheaper hotels with better rooms. This is a decent hotel. Very clean. Our only problem was that housekeeping kept knocking on the door, and didn't understand English enough to know what "No housekeeping needed" meant. Other than that, it is a decent hotel for the price.

Manager was helpful after a mix up. Breakfast was stopped to early. They don't let you have drinks in the pool. Pool was never cleaned. But for the price it's a nice place to stay.

The staff was efficient and helpful. The room was clean and well kept. The lighting was a draw back. The one drawback is if you check in without a car. I came in to bowl in Baton Rouge and was at the mercy of cab companies to get me to and from the lanes and the airport. I would highly recommend the hotel as long as you have access to a car.

The front desk clerk was very polite. However, I stood at the front desk waiting for the clerk to activate my card for entrance into my room. After swiping about 10 different cards, she finally hit the jackpot with an activated one. The clerk did apologize. Once in the room, the furniture and set-up was very spacious. There was a slight musty stinch […] in the room. There was a roach in the restroom along with a mosquito, restroom was not very clean or flattering. So after ridding the room of bugs, I felt more comfortable. The "continental breakfast" was a sausage burrito, microwavable packs of grits, bread, mini muffins, and juice. Definitely not my idea of a continental breakfast. This hotel is conveniently located almost 3mins away from Walmart and the freeway entrance. The hotel did not have the bed arrangement promised, and no effort was made to correct this problem. We paid to sleep on a foldout couch! We were not impressed with the new owners set up. Also the blankets smelled like motor oil.
