This place was close to the airport, the front desk was very helpful and friendly and gave us a Geneva transport pass so we could freely get to the airport the next morning. It's convenient and located just off the Rue de Lausanne which has a fair amount of restaurants and bars and is about 500m from the train station. Rooms were quite nice, the showers are a little weird with a half glass but overall it worked really well for us.

The room was comfortable and clean. You could not beat the location and the view from the lake view rooms!!! It was a very memorable and very enjoyable visit!!! I can not say enough about the hotel and the hotel staff. The staff spoke many different languages which made interacting with them a breeze. Great hotel! I do plan on returning to it in the future!!!!!

Wonderful staff, very helpful. My wife broke her dental retainer the day we were leaving for Zermatt, the staff found her a dentist, made the appointment, and we were on our way within a couple hours, they were so wonderful. The hotel was beautiful and the location was great. The expense of the hotel and Geneva in general is a little shocking, but rate we got through Hotels.com was amazing. Way to go hotels.com!

We were comfortable for the most part. This is an older hotel in need of updates. The shower leaked to the floor of bedroom area. There was a step up going into the bathroom and easily injures toes if not being mindful.

Geneva was an okay city. I would recommend staying at another Swiss city that is nicer and cheaper. Can access Geneva through trains. After 1 day, ran out of things to do. Hotel was not up to par for the price. US equivalent to Motel 8.

Torhotel Geneva is a relatively clean and reasonably priced hotel only minutes walk away from Geneva train station, which makes it deals for business travellers. Hotel staff very helpful and accommodating. Clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Like many hotels in Geneva it was expensive and there was no fresh air as the only window opened into a rather stuffy atrium.

We had a good stay in Geneva eve though it was short. Staff were very helpful in giving us useful tips on where to go etc. We got the kitchen opened but it cost extra 15 Swiss francs. Will stay again

I have booked this hotel as a overnight stay in Geneva before catching my flight next day. Overall this hotel ticked all the boxes of what I needed. It has a great location just a short stroll from the train station where you can get to the airport in 7 mins. It is only two blocks away from Lake Geneva and as with all the hotels in the city, you get […] a free public transport card to use during your stay, so you can quickly get to the old town if you don't fancy the nice walk. The staff were kind and helpful, welcoming warmly even arriving on a Fri at 7 pm and storing my luggage after check out so I could spend a couple of hours in town. Breakfast was generous and delivered at the room. The single room was exactly what I needed, clean, good shower, reliable WIFI, spacious and comfortable bed. Perhaps the only minor note was that the rooms facing the street might be troubled by the noise. Well, this only happened because it was 30C and I wanted to sleep with the windows wide open. I decided then to turn the fan on and leave the windows half-opened and it was alright. Very nice experience and happy to stay again. Read more

Nice clean hotel, with comfortable rooms. Nice staff, good breakfast and very convenient location for most sites in Geneva center. Also close to train and tram stations. One negative is that the Wifi provided is very expensive. Also very thin walls so you will hear traffic and your neighbours. That was not a problem for me thought.

This is not a fancy hotel, but if you are looking for a clean, comfortable and well-located base, then this is for you. If you want your hotel to have a bar and restaurant, then this is not for you, but there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.

There are other hotels in central Geneva that are more modern and stylish but we found the Torhotel comfortable and liked the fact that it is in an old building and the rooms have character. We had one of the ensuite rooms (I think there are some that are not ensuite) and it was a large room compared with some other central Geneva hotels. This is good if you like croissants, toast, juice and tea/coffee/hot chocolate for breakfast but less good if you're lusting after a full breakfast buffet. We were in Geneva for 3 nights and this hotel is very close to the main railway station, clean and has a great breakfast served in your room. 12oclock check out is also good, and they let you leave bags at reception if you aren't leaving Geneva till later. Highly recommend.

We stayed in a really cute studio facing the street courtyard. Perfect simplicity, high ceilings, lots of space. It has got old building charm so don't expect brand spanking new boring cleanliness devoid of life and character. We woke up to beautiful sunshine hitting our super comfortable bed and a bustling city life. The lady serving breakfast in our room was full of life and simply exuded happiness, made our day. Rätt ok hotell för pengarna. Litet och väldigt lyhört, men det ligger rätt bra till. Något förvånad blev man av att hitta receptionen på tredje våningen. Personalen var trevlig och hjälpsam, frukosten serveras på rummet och får anses som tillräcklig. Wifi fungerade i rummet jag hade.
