The hotel offered either a garden view or sea view bedroom. We chose the garden view which looked onto a street and children's pool. This is not what I would call a garden view! I mentioned it to the reception staff who were adament this was constituted a 'garden view'. We paid the extra to upgrade to a sea view. I believe what they initially sold was […] misleading. From the moment I arrived at the Hotel I have never been so impressed with a Hotel.The building is so impressive and is spread out over a large area .The staff are so friendly and helpful.I stayed there half board .The breakfast was lovely and the dinner was too.The dinning room staff were very efficient (especially Freddie) Any children staying we're […] so well behaved because they were all so happy. This is a beautiful hotel with excellent facilities, polite staff and excellent nightly entertainment. It also has the best location in the Adeje area. We would recommend it and indeed re-visit it. The food in the Buffet Restaurant is very good but as always, some minor improvements could be made - particularly by improving how it can be kept hot without […] drying it out. Perhaps more frequently smaller amounts could be brought out from the kitchen. Fresh steaks and fish fillets are cooked to order throughout the lunch buffet and the evening buffet. The soup kettles do not keep the soup hot enough whilst it is full but only when at least half empty. However, the food overall is very good - particularly the cold food/salad selection, lots of fresh breads to choose from, smoked salmon, cheeses, sweets, ice creams etc.The bedroom (twin), standard with sea view was in the 'Butterfly' building and we had an excellent view. The mattresses could be better (although we slept well) and the towels all need replacing with fluffy deep pile new ones. Read more

This is a very good hotel well located on the beach front. The staff are attentive and friendly and we would definitely stay there again. The only thing which let them down was the room provided to shower and change in for those leaving late and unable to extend their own room to a late check out. Being about the sixth person to have use of the room […] meant it was in quite a state, wet towels dumped on the floor in the bathroom and bedroom area and no clean ones available etc. The free toiletries opened and scattered on the floor and sink surface. All a bit tacky at the end of an excellent stay. We called reception who sent clean towels and had to rush as this ate into our allocated half hour slot. A simple solution would be to station a member of staff outside the room to provide towels and collect the used ones. They would also be able to go into the room in the time the previous user returns the key to reception and the next user walks to the room and give it a wipe around. In our case the bath/shower was sandy which i washed out first. They could also ensure the air-conditioning ran continually as it was hot and we were rushing. Please don't let this put you off staying here its a wake up call to the management to keep an eye on the ball! As i said at the beginning we would like to stay there again you will enjoy your stay. Very attractive Hotel,Lovely decor when entering hotel. Very nice gardens and pool areas plenty of room to spread out. Excellent buffet breakfast . Hotel is in a good position overlooking the beach. Good hotel for all couples and families. Would go there again.

When we arrived we were welcomed by friendly staff and showed to our room. Room was clean but just felt that it needed a bit of renovating for a five star. I would rate it a 4 star room but definitely a five star hotel. Swimming pools were amazing specially the one with sea water. You can acces the beach via the hotel. Lots of shops and food places […] around hotel that we didnt need to travel to anywhere else. The hotel location is one of the Tenerife's best: immediate to one of the most sunny island's beaches. The hotel's guest area is well maintained and is beautiful with a stunning sea-views. The stuff at the reception and at the restaurants is quite professional and friendly. We were not impressed with the bathrooms as they did not have air-conditioning […] and were VERY stuffy (including bathrooms at our suit, bathrooms next to the buffet, and, particularly, bathrooms in the reception area). From the initial check in to final check out everything was perfect. The hotel was spotless and faultless, the service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Believe the hype. Anthelia is a fantastic hotel/resort with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The half board breakfast and dinner is (considering the size number of guests) absolutely superb.
