"Superior single room" was spacious, comfortable, and clean. My one complaint about the room is that the free wifi in mine was so slow as to be completely unusable (taking more than 15 minutes to load a page) — unacceptable for a business hotel. Fortunately, I had brought an ethernet cable, and using the ethernet jack in the wall the speed was perfectly […] fine. This indicates that it is a wifi issue, not a network congestion or bandwidth issue, which shows that the hotel is not making it a priority to ensure that adequate wifi signal is reaching all the rooms — something that they could easily correct. Service was quite good: professional, friendly, and reasonably efficient. Just one minor issue: I called reception in the morning to have my bill prepared for checkout, but still had to wait 10 minutes at the counter. Not a major inconvenience, but could have been more efficient. The restaurant provided attentive service and better-than-average food. The only thing that detracted from the dining experience was a loud karaoke concert bleeding in from the hotel bar, which spoiled the tranquility. There's currently nothing of interest within walking distance, but a mall is coming up around the corner. The only business operating there as of Jan 2013 is a cinema, but several floors of shops appear to be on the way. Hometel is one of the most convenient hotels to the airport and railway station, and I would certainly stay here again if the price remains reasonably low. Read more

The hotel was very good on all counts but for acoustics. Somewhere in the hotel was a disco / nightclub / hall which thumped in low frequency beats from 1030 till 0130 in the night. This thumping noise/vibration resulted in disturbed sleep. The rooms are good but the location is lousy. It is in a industrial area.

A great hotel for the corporate minded person. Room and hotel was very clean. as i was a tourist i found the hotel a bit sterile at times; (Which is not a bad thing). The waiting staff within the dining area are second to none. The only down side of the hotel was the external noise (construction work to neighbouring properties)

This is my second stay at the Hometel in Chandigarh. There are bigger and better known chains in Chandigarh but this hotel offers a great combination. Reasonable price and good facilities. A good choice for an overnight on the way to Delhi. Hotel has all necessary amenities and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Many of the staff spoke excellent English. After checkout the hotel willingly looked after our luggage while we visited the Rose garden.

We had arranged to be picked up from Chandigarh Railway station through the hotel, and thank goodness we had, the place had no taxis at 12.45am. When we arrived at the hotel at 1am we were kept waiting for 15 minutes before being checked in, despite us clearly looking exhausted. The standard of English from the staff was not the best. The room was […] fantastic, with plenty of space, a lovely bathroom with a decent hot shower and the comfiest bed I slept in while in India. However, connecting to the wifi was difficult and the night staff seemed to have no clue how it worked. Breakfast was fantastic, and the chef came to the table to chat to us. He offered to cook us various bits and pieces that weren't even on the breakfast menu - and he spoke significantly better English than the receptionists. We have no doubt that had we had time to eat in the restaurant at dinnertime we would have been pleased. We asked if we could keep the room until our departure time of 6pm and we told that a free late check-out time of 3pm was available, but that we would have to pay a full half day rate to keep it a further 3 hours. Given we had purchased various other ancillary products this felt inflexible. When it came to checking out, they demonstrated that they were part of the Park Inn group by taking forever to generate a bill, and then running after our car when they discovered they had undercharged us. So a very comfy night - but the hotel should get its chef to train its receptionists. Read more

Close to the railway station which is very convenient. Lunch buffet is delicious and great value! Don't forget to book a taxi as they don't wait out the front. Friendly staff and good comfort. Overall very good value.

Was there for two weeks on business. Hotel was very good for the area and provided me with what I needed, a clean comfortable room and a place to eat good quality food. Location was a bit out of the way but nothing is too far away in Chandigarh so that wasn't really a problem. Staff were generally really helpful except for one incident where the "manager" […] asked my collegue and I to leave the restaurant as they were busy and wanted to seat other customers. We had literally just finished eating and were finishing of our tea when he approached us. This was completely unacceptable. I donnt want this to take away from the overall quality and general service of the hotel but felt it necessary to call out the management. 周辺は工業地区で周りに店は無いが、施設自体は新しく、インド水準を上回って快適。 ただし、水の漏れが数か所あったので、滑りやすく、じめじめしている部屋もあった。 食事は朝も夜もビュッフェ方式となる。周りにレストランが無いので、夜もこのホテルでとるようになる。 インドではこのクラスのビジネスホテルがなかなかなかったが、価格が安い割には、施設もサービスもよく、また利用したいホテルである。
