Hotel looks nice from the outside but don't let looks deceive you. Hotel is in front of Finsbury Park. Make sure if you take the Tube you get off on that stop not Seven Sisters. The beds are so horrible you can feel the springs on your back and the pillows are flat! Breakfast consist of toast, powder coffee and cereal. Showers are extremely tiny and […] not very cleanas the shower head seemed to have some scum from not cleaning it. The furniture made the room look very nice but the comfort overall was not good. Housekeeping doesnt fix the bed properly they just extend the comforter over the pillows and they are done. We dont really reccomend this unless its your last resort. Read more

Though the hotel is not in central London, the tube makes it easy to get to central London. Extra time must be added to make sure you can reach central London at required times. Our room was on the main floor, which was nice as the elevator was out of service for the majority of our 12 day stay. We were unable to keep our window open at night due to […] the noise all night in the court yard, including the front desk man yelling to other guests to go through the car park to the other hotel. The door slammed shut all night and one night, we even had someone peeing outside our window. We asked for a fan the first night due to not being able to keep our windows open and the temperature in the room, but was told they did not provide fans. We asked for a different room but no effort was made to change our room. We asked for extra pillows, the evening front desk man was not able to get us some but promised we would have them in our room the next day. We never received the pillows. Minimal cleaning of the room was done daily, even with leaving a tip on some days. One day, we were given a half used bottle of body soap. The breakfast was minimal. Including a toilet, sink and shower, the bathroom was only 2.5 feet by 6 feet. There was no room in the shower to move, we never knew if we were going to have scalding hot water or cold water. There was mold in the shower, though the hotel staff report they remodeled recently. Read more

The hotel is recently upgraded with superb bathrooms and very clean and quiet. Good housekkeping, good breakfast and nice lobby with strong wifi, but wifi is very limited in rooms. My singlle room was compact, but very comfortable with a great view of the City highrises Hotel is right on Finsbury Park...location is a bit far away from the typical tourist […] spots, but the 2 block walk to the Tube line with both Victoria and Picadilly lines makes it a short 10 minute ride to Leicester Square. Neighborhood is not upscale, but felt entirely safe and residents are very mixed and colorful. Hotel staff was very helpful and I would stay again as the value is very high for the rate. Read more

Small but clean room with TV and personal bathroom. Very close to Finsbury Park Tube which will take you direct to central London. Directly opposite Finsbury Park. The floors both inside the room and out are hardwood which results in a noisy atmosphere when people walk past and close doors etc. The internet was solid when working - it tended to timeout […] during peak hours. The hotel would have been perfect for a short stay as it was good value and clean and ideally located for us. Unfortunately it was unbearably hot even with the window open (in December!) and no way to turn down the heating.

Clean and tidy compact rooms, but smelled a little of stale smoke. Looks like hotel has been refurbished recently. Staff friendly, quick to check-in, parking behind secure gates. Simple continental breakfast. Overall good value for London and convenient for tube.

We stayed at the Pembury for 2 nights in mid October for business. This was our second stay here totalling 5 nights in all we've used this hotel. All in all, it represents good value for money with free on site parking included. The rooms tend to be on the smaller side (especially the bathrooms), and the pillows and duvets are very thin - I would […] advise bringing a more substantial pillow with you for comfort. Even though on the small side, the rooms do have tea and coffee making facilities, ample wardrobe space, and free wifi which was a bonus. The included continental breakfast is only bread/toast, butter, cheese, and ham (although these are pretty free flowing). So, if this works for your dietary needs great, but if like me you can't do bread or dairy I'd advise paying a few pounds more and getting something cooked in the cafe next to reception - I had scrambled eggs, beans, mushrooms and tomato which was lovely. The rooms at the front of the hotel tend to be noisier with traffic flowing past on Seven Sisters Road, so opt for a room at the back if you can. To summarise, this hotel offers good value for money with free parking and convenient location with close proximity to Finsbury Park tube station. I will be staying here again. Read more

The bed was so bad that the back can feel the bed frame. The toilet is no more than 3m2 with tiny wash hand basin and tiny toilet that was suitable for <10yrs child. The hotel was clean and comfortable and exactly what you would expect for the price but night manager was the rudest man I have ever met. The room was not what I had booked and he was condescending and in no way helpful. The problem was never fixed in the end. Wouldn't go back for that reason alone.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights on a month long trip to Europe. The best thing I can say is that it is only a short walk to the tube station - although I would not do it at night - and very convenient at only a few stops from London which was great for us. My wife and I spent a night at the PEMBURY, staff were helpful, the room was spotless with complimentary soap and shampoo, very modern fitments. Corridoors are small so rooms are close together but it was relatively quiet for a London Hotel. Breakfast was continental but as much toast, cheese and ham etc you could eat. Good value for money

Har varit här två gånger. Båda gångerna i dubbelrum, första gången var det bra, då fick vi stort rum och sådär, så man hade plats. Usel dusch, men annars. Andra gången nu senast i veckan så var det bedrövligt. Fin service och så men rummet var knappast ett dubbelrum, vi kunde inte så i bredd med varandra i rummet, väskorna tog upp hela golvytan i princip. […] Så det gäller att ha tur med vilket dubbelrum man får. Io e la mia ragazza abbiamo soggiornato presso questo hotel per 13 notti, durante le quali la stanza è stata pulita tutti i giorni, solo che qualche volta si dimenticavano di mettere il tappetino da bagno pulito, o i nuovi saponi, o la carta igienica. Le lenzuola non sono state cambiate tutti i giorni e una notte siamo stati svegliati alle 04.00 da […] un'inspiegato allarme antincendio che ci ha impedito di dormire per almeno un'ora... capita :) A parte questo, i servizi igienici sono buoni, le camere sono nuove ed in ottime condizioni, l'ascensore è spaziale e il wifi non prende sempre al massimo (dipende dalla zona dell'hotel in cui ci si trova, noi eravamo al secondo piano e avevevamo difficoltà); l'acqua calda arriva, anche troppo. La colazione a buffet era assortita ma non aspettatevi niente di elaborato. La stanza era carina ma veramente piccola, il letto a una piazza e mezza attaccato al muro, pochissimi spazi per riporre i vestiti e per lasciare le valigie.
