"Unexpected quality for price and location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
The hotel's own website seems to understate its excellent location, as it has an opening into the main street of Sorrento just a short walk from the main square. It is within walking distance of the scenic old mill, the train station, the marina (with its outstanding seafood restaurants) and its stunning views of the bay of Naples and the hillside villas and hotels of Sorrento. The staff was very accommodating to our special needs, allowing us to leave our luggage and to use its restroom facilities even after we had checked out. Also, the price of the rooms was reasonable. Our party did not take the advice of the female night clerk who recommended that we eat at the restaurant next door; instead, we ate at Ristorante Delfino at the marina (which I also highly recommend).

"Near train Station and Walking distance to Sights"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
Very happy with Hotel Sorrento City. Staff spoke excellent English and were extremely helpful. Room was very comfortable with the only drawback being the TV in the room had only one Engligh speaking channel (MTV...ugh). Excellent location and easy to find right on the main street near the train station. Very good breakfast and free Wi-Fi included which worked very well in the room. Highly recommend Hotel Sorrento City.
"Should be a six star close to Air Port"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 3, 2012
We were going back to Charlotte NC. From the moment tbat we steped into the lobby area, We were greeted, taken care of. The hotel management to the person that carried our baggage to our room I felt that I was coming back to friends. I will stay at this hotel when ever I am in Naples. It was an outstanding short stay. What a palace.

"Great New and Modern Hotel in Anacapri"
The staff was very helpful. Clean, modern and new room. It felt more like a London hotel than a Capri, Italy hotel. No view, but we preferred the convenient location, being in Anacapri instead of Capri, and the cleanliness and new-ness of the hotel over a view. Only a 2 minute walk to the taxis and bus stop. We loved being in the quieter more authentic […] Anacapri!!! Read more
Our FAVORITE hotel by far during our 2 week stay in Italy!! AWESOME, professional, clean and elegant!
"Loved the island of Capri"
Great hotel. Everything was wonderful. Staff was not the most friendly. But everything else was great.
"Almost perfect"
Our room was directly off the pool. The shower and bath were fantastic after an insanely long travel day from the US. The only thing that can be said in a negative way was that the window to the bathroom was directly over where the employees take their smoking breaks. I recently quit smoking and rarely disparage others for the habit, but it was unpleasant […] to constantly smell the faded dilute cigarette smell. We walked all around Anacapri, and everything on the island is easily accessible with the bus system which picks up very close to the hotel main entrance. Read more
"Location, Service and comfort are all in this Hote"
The location of Blu Capri, in Anacapri is located in the main little shopping area, but by no mean, the craziness that you would experience in the shopping area in Capri. The staff of the hotel, from the manager that welcomed us within 15 minutes of our arrival, to the front desk staff that organized everything from our arrival to reservation for dinner […] at restaurants, was a happy group of professionals that wanted us to enjoy our vacation in every level of comfort. The hotel restaurant is a most. The breakfast is great, the best cappuccino I ever had with everything from salmon to healthy drinks and pastries recommended from the hotel Spa. Dinner was also great, my compliments to the chef and of course to the very attentive waiters. I will go back to Blu Capri in a heartbeat and I will recommend this hotel to everybody Read more
"Blu Capri Relais - amazing"
this place is amazing. Call them on your cell phone from the boat (take the ferry from Sorrento) and they arrange that someone gets you from the ferry to a cab and from the cab with your luggage to the hotel. All walking distance. The cab ride to the hotel is about 30 Euro, so that's a bit steep. But we enjoyed staying in Anacapri as opposed to Capri. […] Capri is basically a collection of jewelry stores, clothing stores stores where you can buy expensive leather bags and restaurants... Not our cup of tea. Anacapri is much more relaxed. And you can take a public bus from Anacapri to Capri about every 10 - 15 minutes, for almost nothing. Stay here, not in Capri! The hotel is beautiful. We actually had two rooms, one for us and one for our 2 kids. There are two types and we had the nicer / larger type. The layout of those rooms is amazing - very nice. We appreciated the swimming pool as well. For a great dinner (although expensive) go to Aurora restaurant in Capri. This is where the jet set hangs out. I would definitely stay here again! Read more
"Blu Relais Anacapri"
It was a pleasure to stay at the hotel and the staff were very friendly. We did not eat an evening meal at the hotel as it was a buffet and seemed to be aimed at the budget traveller.
