I have used this hotel for over 20 years and it stays great in all ways., the staff is helpful and the quality of service is great. Old but wonderful.

Location.
Situated in the heart of Antigua Guatemala, Hotel Casa del Parque is close to Parque Central, Antigua Cathedral, and La Merced Church. Additional regional attractions include Volcan de Agua and Acatenango.
Hotel Features.
Hotel Casa del Parque has an outdoor pool, a spa tub, and a sauna. Complimentary wireless and wired high-speed Internet access is available in public areas and an Internet point is located on site. Dining options at the hotel include a snack bar/deli. On select days the hotel offers a complimentary evening social. The staff can arrange concierge services, tour/ticket assistance, and wedding services. Additional amenities include spa services, multilingual staff, and laundry facilities. For a surcharge, guests receive transportation including a roundtrip airport shuttle (available on request) and an area shuttle. Guest parking is complimentary. This is a smoke-free property. A total renovation of this property was completed in August 2011.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.. My room was dark,and smelled moldy although there was no sign of mold. The curtains were very flimsy so I did not feel I had privacy. The bed was very low and very hard and had only a thin blanket. The towels were very worn and one face towel given to me had holes in it. "Beautiful hotel"
I really enjoyed my stay at the Casa Del Parque. The rooms were beautifully decorated, the pool and jacuzzi were nice, and the view from the second floor balcony of the volcanos was stunning. It's also located right next to the center square of Antigua.

This is a nice hotel in a great location close to Parque Central. The pool and jacuzzi are nice. The one problem I had was being put in Room 1 for my first night there. In this room, you can hear all of the conversations that take place at the front desk and is very noisy in general. My second night was restful and comfortable.

My friend and I stayed here during New Year's. It can be a bit noisy, as the hotel is located near a restaurant with a live band most nights, and you could hear the music fairly easily at night. Not a major chain, just a quiet, clean, well maintained, cozy room ,very helpful staff, good breakfast included, beautiful grounds, pool, sauna, in the heart of Antigua. Very reasonably priced. I highly would recommend it. I plan to return.
