We wanted a hotel close to Disneyland Paris, with a little more room than the Disney properties. We stayed at this hotel two nights. We were very pleased with the room (the suite for just a small amount more than a standard room), but a bit bewildered by the location. It's very close to Disneyland, but the GPS takes you far out of the way. It's in a […] brand new part of Chessy, but dining options are limited. Our favorite element of the room was cool blue lights that illuminate the floor beside the bed....the switch isn't obvious. but it's worth looking for. Also note an added charge for parking. In these days of Photo Shop its always hard to know if what you see is what you're going to get when booking a hotel. In the case of the Relais Spa Chessy, I'm happy to say the place was almost as nice as it looked in pictures on Hotel.com's website. The staff was helpful and friendly. They offered advice on places to go in Paris and how to get there; […] always greeted me with a smile whenever I came and left; and even assisted me in setting up a track phone which I purchased, not expecting the instructions to be in French. The room was small, but perfect for our needs. I didn't like how the key is needed to activate the lights and elevator though, but it was quiet and clean. The location, for the price, is great. Two easy blocks from the Val Europe train station, and another to a big mall with several good restaurants. The train takes about five minutes to get to Disneyland and about 40 minutes to get into Paris. It was a little dirty and the scenery not grand, but I felt safe riding it and enjoyed listening to the people -- some business professionals, some working class, and some families, speaking French -- a beautiful sounding language. Didn't eat at the on-site restaurant so I can't comment. All things considered, I would stay at the Relais Spa Chessy again and recommend it to a friend. Au Revoir !! Read more

Hotel Chessy is located near Euro Disney but it is not a family friendly hotel. During booking we requested two adjoining rooms to accommodate our three children. This request was not honored upon check-in. During booking, we made it clear that we were a family of five and when we checked in the hotel we were advised that we needed to get a 3rd room […] because the rooms only sleep two people. We called hotel.com to attempt to negotiate our arrangements and the hotel manager hung up the phone on the representative. The manager further refused to speak with us. After traveling nearing 11 hours with literally no place to go, we had to upgrade ONE of our rooms to a suite (paying the cost difference). The hotel staff was very cold and insensitive to our situation. Upon checking out, we were again questioned about the number of people in the room after it was made clear to the hotel that we had 2 adults and 3 daughters (9, 10, 14). The hotel is new and has a clean appearance; however, after checking into our room, we realized that they allowed pets because there was what appeared to be a faint cat urine odor. Additionally, housekeeping does not clean the rooms daily; only clean towel were provided. Overall, the hotel has a lot of potential, but the atmosphere in the hotel put a bad cloud on the rest of our vacation to Paris and Euro Disney. The Chessy is not cost effective when you take into account that they only allow two people per standard room. Read more

A reasonably priced hotel close enough to Disneyland so that you can be there in five minutes by train but not too close so that you pay a premium. Also great if you want to get to the outlet malls which are a 10 min walk away. Hotel staff were friendly and spoke more than enough English for us to be understood. What on the outside and in looks great presents one disappointment after another. Checking in delayed by 45 min. First. as the elevator from garage was broken. When calling front desk no relation or support. Finally at front desk a large tour group checking in. Each had to be handled one by one with pre-arrival preperation. Room (junior suite) was […] nice with enough space for the four of us. But room cleaning was miserable. The small kitchen was not cleaned at all during the three days we were there. The breakfast at the hotel was so bad we ate out the last day rather than having to eat the free food they offered. The coffee was cold and when we asked for a warmer cup they wanted to charge us. Last but not least there is a lot of construction next door that will get you out the door early. I read the horror stories from previous lodgers and am happy to report that my stay was quite good and peaceful. Overall I enjoyed my stay clean rooms, nice staff, good location with a mall down the road. I do wish they gave a better explaination of the hotel like I had no idea you put the key into the holder right at the door I thought I had no electricity, didn't understand the idea of getting a ticket for breakfast, they only had 2 irons for the entire hotels […] they really need to get more of those. The night manager was terrific he could here my distress when they had no irons available one morning he actually went home and got his personal one for me that was very very nice. I stayed at Relais Spa from October 5-8 2011 with the sole purpose of going to Disneyland Paris. I didn't wander around the neighborhood to know too much but I do know they had shopping only a few minutes away. I also didn't eat at their restaurant so I don't have an opinion on that. As for my room it was perfect! I had a junior suite. Inside the room […] was a double bed - very comfy and a tv. Also had a living room area with a fold out couch, tv and kitchen area stocked with a micowave, stove top, coffee and tea maker, sink and dishwasher. They also had your basic pots, pans, and utensils. The room also had 2 bathrooms. i really enjoyed this room! As for the location it couldn't be any easier to get to. I was coming from Paris and I took the RER A right to the station (about an hour) and walked up the street to the hotel - 2 minutes tops where you pass several places to eat. . As for going to DIsneyland it's one stop on the train - maybe a 4 minute commute. If i ever go back to Disneyland Paris this is where I will stay - no question. Read more

The worst hotel ever. Nice rooms but it was a comedy of errors, or just four days of errors. And they did not care a bit. Customer service? None. For this price, it should be decent, but it was worse than hotels at 1/4th the price. Bath facet was broken as we checked in. Internet did not work and they would not help. They made us feel like it was inconvenient […] to use internet. I slept until 9:30 the first day--I had flown from California! But no one can eat except on their hours, so nothing between 10am and noon. NOT EVEN COFFEE! When I asked where to eat, they did not know! No coffee in the room. 2nd morning, the room shook, loud noise--so loud I could not talk to my girlfriend who was in the same room--that loud. We called and they blamed the city, yet no one was working outside. They would not move our rooms. It was again, my fault, not the hotels. More bath problems, and the worst according to my girlfriend, the hot water was no where near close enough to hot for her to bathe. All hot, no cold, and still just luke warm. And the water pressure was pathetic--the worst I have seen in any house or hotel. I can't believe they charge this much and that Disney (a minor owner I understand) allows it. Yes we would have moved but it was Design week so no other hotels. Do NOT spoil your trip by chosing this hotel. Read more

We stayed at this hotel over a long weekend in May. We found the hotel staff to be very polite and helpful with our questions. The hotel was very clean and well decorated. It was great to have a small kitchen in the room to prepare meals and avoid eating out with 2 children for the entire weekend. Both the pull-out sofa bed and bed in the separate bedroom […] were comfortable. There is a water pot, coffee maker (bring the pod-style coffee packets), microwave and dorm-size fridge in the kitchen. If you plan to use the kitchen, you'll also need dish soap or dishwasher soap, paper towels, napkins, etc as these were not provided. There is a very large grocery store in the nearby mall (Val d' Europe, 5-10 min walk). The restaurant in the hotel is now open, but I cannot comment on the quality as we did not eat there. The location is excellent - a 5 min walk to the train station and 1 stop to Disney. Plan on about 5 euros each way on RER to the park for a family of 4. The only negatives would be that the water pressure is low and the parking is an extra 10 euros per day. The parking garage is located beneath the hotel (entrance down the street to the right as you're facing the main entrance). Read more

The breakfast was very bad with poor service as well as poor quality of food. We upgraded to a Junior Suite and while the design etc was very good the fittings such as comfort of the bed and showers (low water pressure) was disappointing for a supposedly 4 star hotel. Having a small kitchen was very good. We did not understand why all the soap containers […] were empty and they did not want to fill them. Location is good so very convenient. There seemed to be lots and lots of staff at the reception desk but very little staff to clean rooms and so on. Stayed at the Relais Spa in November in a premier room. The room was small but adequate, useful kitchen concealed in lobby way, even has a small dishwasher! Spotlessly clean, microwave/ dishwasher looked untouched, this may be due to the notice which can be found in the area detailing extortionate amounts payable if any items are found to be damaged! […] Bathroom was a good size with bath and shower over, daily supply of towels and toiletries provided. We found the shower screen to be quite inadequate though which resulted in a very wet floor after every shower. Beds were very comfortable and linen was clean and white. Beds are made daily but linen is only changed once a week. We found all staff to be very sociable and helpful, all spoke good English. The bar area was lovely but very expensive. The surrounding area is pleasant and felt very safe. There is a shopping area close by that housed a variety of shops catering to all budgets. To the back of this there is a small retail shopping area for those who have rather more to spend! The train station is very close and is one stop away from Disneyland, central Paris is a few stops in the opposite direction. Not much in the way of evening entertainment though, there is only one pub/cocktail bar but it is quite expensive. In all we found the hotel good value for money, however it is more suited to those visiting Disneyland than central Paris, and for those who prefer a quieter evening. Read more

I stayed here with my girlfriend when visiting Disney Land and Paris. The hotel is about a 2 minute walk from Val d'Europe station which is a 5 minute metro journey from the Disney land entrance so extremely convenient, this cost us 3.50 euro about £1 each way per person. There is a huge shopping centre on your doorstep plus outlet village with various […] resturants. We were greeted politely and the staff were very friendly. The room was clean and a good size, the 'kitchen' area was a very nice touch with a kettle, coffee machine, hobs plus sink, fresh coffee in the morning at our own pleasure was lovely. We did get a twin room though and after asking if we could change got told that the only was to get a double bed was to get a junior sweet, The beds didn't have latches to make them into one bed either which would be the only fault of the hotel. The bath was a lovely size and the shower was almost a rain shower but with a non static shower head. The lounge/Bar area downstairs was comfortable but I don't think they are used to making very many cocktails. I would highly recommend this hotel to families or couple and I think we will be staying here next time we visit, though calling ahead about the twin bed situation. Read more

The hotel seems new and there is construction around outside. We had a room at the front so this was not an issue. We arrived by train and came out of the station, despite having correct address and a map found it quite difficult to find even though it is literally 1 minute walk away (turn left). The room is nice with l'occtaine products in the bathroom […] and reasonable kitchen facilities but our main problem is lack of information. There is none. My sister and I r seasoned travellers and speak reasonable French but there is nothing not even how to get to Disney. Which you can see from the hotel. When we asked about options on how to get to the airport we were told taxi €84. Even though there r several other options. There r good shops a couple of nice bakeries and some ok restaurants within minutes and the area felt really safe. I would use the hotel again for Disney but do your homework first. Read more

Clean, modern and with helpful staff. We stayed with two children under two and the hotel provided clean travel cots for both. The hotel is walking distance from restaurants and the Val d'Europe shopping centre. It was also less than a 10 minute drive from Eurodisney.

The hotel is absolutely wonderful. The room was very clean with plenty of room to maneuver in the single room that I had. I could even see Disneyland Paris in the distance. The wifi is free, but I could only connect one device to the wifi in the room, and the signal was extremely weak. This was the biggest frustration. The website is also a tad vague […] on how to get to the hotel. Get off the RER A4 line at the Val d'Europe station. Then turn left out of the station and turn right at the end of the road. It's about a 5 minute walk. Disneyland Paris is at the end of the RER A line at the Marne-la-Valee-Chessy station, making access to Disneyland extremely easy if you want to go to the park. Great hotel, great location, comfortable beds, and really helpful staff. We had a balcony view of the Disney Studios which was a bonus as we could sometimes see the fireworks on the night. The shopping centre was literally a two minute walk away and as was the train station. There was only three faults we discovered with the hotel. One was that the […] TV only had one English channel and there was no way of changing the language on other channels or even English subtitles. Another was that on the bathroom cabinet next to the bath there was a giant patch of mould. The last fault was that we paid for a room with a double bed and got landed with two singles, however they were very close together and actually quite big and very comfy! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone panning on visiting Disney as it is only one Metro stop away and its 1.75 for single ticket each way. =D Read more
