the staff were amazing. helpful. gracious amazig. the hotel is a bit of sketchy neighborhood. no one had heard of it...including the driver. good price. worked out fine to get to the hotel the enxt day, but if I had to stay more than one night and the flight were for business and not pleasure the next day, I would have been nervous.

We stayed at this hotel the night before an early flight from Luton. We booked it as the ratings were quite good to compare to other hotels around Luton. The hotel is ok, but would not stay there again as the room was extremely small and felt dated. If you are used to 4 or 5 star accommodation - choose something else.

Very modern hotel, rooms are very well presented,overall feel of the hotel is very good. If you are looking for a hotel to stay in Luton not linked to the Airport then this would be ideal. The only slight negative is very limited car parking on site

Comfortable stay. Staff friendly and helpful. Some minor niggles e.g. several lights in the room did not work, wi-fi signal slow, tv picture kept freezing, no bbc channels, breakfast buffet could have been warmer. However, despite these issues, I would stay here again and would recommend to friends.

We had an excellent night at the Icon Hotel, it was clean and tidy, modern and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. It was very convenient for Luton Airport and I would definitely stay there again in the future.

I wasn't pleased about them having 2 bookings for me instead of one. I think this was sorted but it is yet to be verified. Good air con and comfortable bed. Hotel in good position for nearby restaurants. Walls in bedrooms good do with some paint as there were a lot of marks.

Booked in between moving house and going on holiday and I must say I was extremely impressed with the hotel. The rooms were bright airy and in tip top condition. the bar and restaurant were pleasant and all the staff were extremely polite and helpful. What is this hotel doing in Luton!! Overall Excellent - Only drawback is limited car parking

The Icon Hotel is a real "find". After my recent stay, I wouldn't consider booking anywhere else in Luton in future. Importantly, as a single woman on my own, I felt safe there. Stayed at the Icon just one night to meet an early flight. This is a great hotel - rooms are comfortable and clean, beds are comfy and there's everything you need. The Hotel is like a boutique hotel in miniature in a retro eighties building. In miniature as its seems a title small? Chose the hotel for location near Luton Airport. Arrived 10pm, car park full. No problem they have an arrangement with the car park opposite. Job done, I thought..... 5am, check out, Carpark locked and the attendant would not allow […] me to revive my car. My flight to Barcelona closed at 7am, carpark would be open officially at 6:30. Hotel should have been able to get car out but not this time. Now the hotel agreed to take my keys and move my car and get me a taxi to the airport and I would collect my car 3 days later. This was a solution that worked, not perfect but it worked, so credit where credit is due. The situation was handled OK, but should not have occurred, some would say? So I say Thank you to the staff and I will come back, if I need to fly out of Luton, but manage your supplier relationships better, oh they also had a broken lift and no draft beer, supplier relationships.....? The rooms are cmfortable and well equiped but when anyone had cleaned under the desk is anyones guess judging by the dust. Can a Boutique Hotel not run to caffatier`s of decent coffee? Last minor gripe. The restaurant serves good food from a small but interesting menu. The food is well cooked and for a change in this type of hotel restaurant the steaks were cooked exactly as requested. Why then do the portions vary so much? We had the excellent antipasti starter on the first night and it was big enough for the two of us to share. We enjoyed it so much that we ordered it again on the second night but the portion had shrunk by about a third! This is a good hotel with a fantastic staff for whom nothing was too much trouble, who were so obviously a happy team and professional at all times. Would we stay again? Myself and a friend stayed here for one night in November, and we were delighted with our stay. It was a short visit but was perfect for what we had planned. The hotel is very convenient to the airport - only a short taxi ride. The hotel is new and beautifully finished, with clean rooms, very comfortable beds, all facilities that you need and very helpful […] staff. We had to call on them twice and they were more than happy to help. Our only disappointment was the food. There was an event on the night we were there and the dining room was temporarily allocated to a make shift room for the night. There was no issue with that, but there was a long delay in ordering & receiving the food, and the quality of the food was ok. The breakfast we got delivered to room and was certainly not worth the £10.95 we had to pay for it. Poor quality and cold coffee. However this was only the food, and while it could have been much better, it did not take from our stay in the Icon. I would recommend staying, and if I had to be in the Luton area again would stay myself, but would not stay for the dining. Read more

Et bra hotel med kort vei til sentrum og restauranter. God service og hyggelig personell i resepsjon, bar og restaurant. Veldig gode senger og greit ba. Eneste minus er at det ikke er mulig å åpne et vindu på rommet for å få in frisk luft og få det kaldere. AC gikk ikke lavere en 21 grader å det blir varmt å sove i.

We had a good (but short) time at the hotel. The rooms were clean, and had a high standard, compared to other hotels i've been in England. The key-card didn't work at two occations, but the staff worked effectivly to solve the problem.
