Great location for me as I was working in the Port of Cap d'Ail. If your planning to see Monaco then remember this is about a 20-30 minute walk! As you have to get over the hill to the other side of the bay. But you can drive to Monaco easily in less then 10 minutes through the tunnels. The hotel is a little pricey and car parking is expensive, but its due to the area and you have to expect it really! But the hotel is good and clean and comfortable.

The Villa Maria is excellently kept in an old Italian Villa. The rooms are clean, with cool antique furniture and the staff is attentive. Be aware that it is a European hotel- so the showers are in the tub with no curtain, and breakfast is the same every day- but it is at the top of what you should expect unless you are staying in a super-luxe resort type place. We stayed there for 10 days and loved every second. It is a truly special place. Be warned as well- for those with limited mobility, the hotel is at the top of a steep hill, my 70 year old mother occasionally found the walk home a little challenging, but was able to push through- though people in wheelchairs or severely limited might want to stay somewhere not on a hill. Otherwise, it's a great way to work off all the pasta and wine you will have while in town.

A very good hotel. Location is excellent. Near the train station and Nice-bound bus station. All important areas near the hotel. The mananger is very friendly, warm and helpful. He always helps guests. Good experience. Fully satisfied. Always reccomend this hotel.

Les conditions d'accueil ne sont pas très bonnes pour l'hiver. L'auberge est isolée, et à notre arrivée à 17h à la tombée de la nuit, il était fermé et nous avons du aller nous promener jusqu'à 18h, heure de l'ouverture. Heureusement le village, à quelques kilomètres, est magnifique ! A 18h, la chambre n'était pas prête, mais on nous a proposé un café […] pour attendre. La chambre était spacieuse, avec une belle vue le jour, mais pour une arrivée de nuit elle est assez austère : manque de lumière, et surtout, dans la chambre, pas assez de chauffage (dans la sdb ça allait). L'endroit est très beau. La vue est magnifique. Pas très bien insonorisé, un peu vieillit, mais la gentillesse des personnes et le secteur fait oublier le reste. Très beau restaurant.

excellent accueil bon hôtel dans l'ensemble mais isolé en pleine campagne. Un peu bruyant le samedi soir car le restaurant de l'hotel a une excellente réputation et il y a beaucoup de jeunes qui viennent y faire la fête.
