The Lato Boutique hotel is conveniently located within a 5 minute walking distance to the Venetian Fort, center market and great restaurants in Heraklion. The property is a true boutique hotel with mod furniture and thoughtful decor. The large, contemporary guest rooms have balconies looking out over the beautiful harbor. The front desk staff is personable and eager to do anything to make your stay the best. When I told them we would be needing a cab to the airport at 5 AM , they insisted on making us a free breakfast so we would not leave hungry! I never like hotel restaurants. Well, until I tried dinner at the Lato Boutique Hotel. The chef does a modern take on classic Greek food. We ended up eating dinner there twice!

Excellent choice. Employees were very nice. One even taught me the Greek alphabet! Breakfast was the best! Great selection and quality. Views are magnificent from the room and the breakfast room. Location is just perfect to see Knossos or Rethymno.and the port is walking distance if you are coming by boat.

Description of PaulEva Apartments - Chersonissos

Location.
Situated near the beach in Chersonissos, PaulEva Apartments is close to Star Beach Water Park, Aquaworld Aquarium, and Lychnostatis. Also nearby are Acqua Plus and Crete Golf Club.

Property Features.
The apartment offers a bar/lounge. Wireless Internet access is complimentary in public areas. The staff can provide tour/ticket assistance and currency exchange. Additional amenities include an outdoor pool, barbecue grills, and a garden. For a surcharge, guests have access to a roundtrip airport shuttle (available on request).

Guestrooms.
Rooms open to balconies or patios. The 12 air-conditioned guestrooms at PaulEva Apartments include safes and hair dryers. For a surcharge, guests can use the in-room wireless high-speed Internet access. All units have kitchenettes with refrigerators, cookware/dishes/utensils, and cooking facilities. We stayed in PaulEva apartments for five days and had a wonderful time. The family was more than welcoming, they were wonderful, making sure that we... were comfortable and going above and beyond our expectations to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. The apartments were clean and well-maintained and while we were there the family was working hard to maintain the (empty) already pristine rooms (we were there a few weeks before the main tourist season). They made sure that we were as comfortable as possible. The open, beautiful apartments are slightly out of town on top of a hill, about a mile's walk one-way, but it is a beautiful walk and there are other tavernas and places to eat in the neighbourhood if you don't feel like going all the way down, and the distance and location makes up for it by having a spectacular view of the city and the ocean. The bus system from Chersonissos to Heraklion is also convenient and frequent. If you are looking for a family-run place to stay with an amazing view of the town and the unbelievably blue ocean, I would highly recommend PaulEva apartments.
