We had the most incredible time. The staff was beyond helpful and so generous. When we drove up to the chateau our breath was taken away. It felt like we were in a fairy tale. The fact that we were able to stay here and then tour the nearby castles was amazing. They are very close to must see chateaus and castles. You do need a car. 5stars!

This was a nice hotel, right at the train station, which gave us access to CDG by TGV for our trip home. It was also easy to get into downtown Tours to see the sights of this nice city.

Even though the rooms are small compared to hotels in the USA, this hotel is a great location in Tours. A 10 minute walk to old town Tours and a 20 minute walk to the train station. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful - especially since I don't speak French very well. Very accomodating to all requests. In addition, the restaurant dinner menu is unbelievable - high quality gourmet. I would definitely stay here again.

Rooms are compact and appeared to be redecorated compared to previous internet photos. Baths were updated with new fixtures. Location was quiet. Close to good dining and Rail Station. Short walk to old town. Front desk was helpful making taxi reservations and storing luggage after checkout. Elevator. Breakfast was a cold buffet: cereal, hard boiled eggs, meats, fruit, bread, and yogart.

Plenty of parking for the rental car with meals at a place called Flunch in the shopping... mall across street (or breakfast in hotel, but expensive). Bath in room, European sice room and Flintstone firm bed but good for the price. I booked this hotel as an overnight stay on drive to England. It is a very basic hotel which served its purpose in providing a warm room for the night. The staff at reception spoke good english and was friendly. The room was clean but small and compact. We used the hotel for a one night stop over on our return to the UK. The hotel was clean and tidy in an easy to access location. It was a quick drive into Tours but if you want a break from driving there was plenty to do near the hotel. Friendly helpful staff , spoke English. For a budget hotel this was a very good one. Tours is a beautiful city.

Balladins in a basic functional Hotel on the northern suburbs of Tours. Very convenient for the airport. Of course there are things one could complain about but they are not the fault of the Hotel they are due to the behaviour of previous guests. However I found there was nothing worthy to make a fuss about. First of all, the staff at this hotel are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is located near most of the castles and very accessible by car. The castles nearby all have parking and its up to you to choose which one you want to go see. The thing you have to know is that the hotel is located near a marsh and there are no fly screens on the windows. […] With the lack of A/C the result was about 8 mosquito bites all over me. We arrived soon after noon, but our room was ready and reception staff allowed us to go straight up, which was helpful, because I was exhausted after a long drive. We slept well in the afternoon and that night. We had a huge supermarket, with great in store restaurant within easy reach. The restaurant next door was closed down. The room was basic, but […] comfortable. There was a nasty stain on the carpet, but I couldn't face moving room or having someone in to sort it out, so I didn't say anything. Un accueil hors du communs avec un service sans comparaisons. En plus, restaurantr à très proche proximité et on peu tout demander, tant au personnel qu'a la responsable, on très bien servi. Je le conseille vivement car, même les portes ne claquent pas lorsque les sans gênes rentent dans leur chambre. C'es très apréciable.

La habitación era amplia, limpia y todo estaba correcto. Adecuado para visiitar el Loira sin grandes pretensiones y de manera práctica y economica. Los alrrededores no eran gran cosa pero había sitios donde cenar y comprar algunas cosas, lo recomiendo si tu precio es ajustado y necesitas un hotel con parking

Kurz - für einen Behinderten war das Bad zufriedenstellend, das Zimmer für zwei zu klein. Leider roch der Abfluss unangenehm. Vom Stadtrand war das Zentrum Tours gut zu erreichen, die Autobahn ebenfalls. Frühstücksbuffet klein aber ausreichend in angenehmem Ambiente.

Nous sommes déçus par la petite taille de la chambre. Nous n'avons pas pu prendre de douche le matin car il parait que la chaudière était en panne. La propreté était limite. Pas d'insonnorisation.

Balladins in a basic functional Hotel on the northern suburbs of Tours. Very convenient for the airport. Of course there are things one could complain about but they are not the fault of the Hotel they are due to the behaviour of previous guests. However I found there was nothing worthy to make a fuss about. What makes this Hotel stand out above others […] is the exceptional welcome given by staff who seemed to go out of their way to give excellent service and make guests stay as comfortable as possible. Petit hôtel sympathique situé au nord de Tours dans une zone commerciale. Les chambres sont certes un peu spartiates (mais il n'y a qu'une seule étoile) mais confortables et bien propres. Petit déjeuner très varié. L'accueil est très cordial et le gardien de nuit est adorable !
