"komplett neu Renoviertes Hotel in Strandnähe!"
"Traum Hotel in Strandnähe"
Früherer Check-In stellte kein Problem dar. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Flott ferie hotell"
Hotell Apollo gir nye for pengene. Sentral plasseribg med alle fasiliteter i nærgeten. Godt over gjennomsnittlig standard.

.... Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Take a lovely seaside town, a gorgeous SPA, a luxury hotel with great food and you have LifeClass Portorose. All is topped with the kindness of the staff, the warm weather and the pureness of the air. By night, a super comfortable bed made my rest even better. Let's now focus on the SPA part: the Sauna Park and the different areas are absolutely amazing. Choose the Thai treatments, Water Therapy, or maybe an Ayurveda experience: all here is outstanding. And with reasonable fares. I live in Milan, Italy, and as soon as I realized how close this heaven is (just a few hours' drive), I'm already looking forward to being back. It was such a pleasant stay, you have to try to understand.
"Temptation or Wellness: Your choice…."

The LifeClass hotel chain make up quite a portion of the hotel accommodation available in the Portoroz main street area. I opted for Hotel Apollo as it had recently been refurbished and had a restaurant that focused on healthy food. On arrival I wasn't disappointed - although the reception area is a bit low key (to the point you might not realise it is there) my room was spacious and very clean. I had a balcony with a pretty good sea view - Hotel Apollo is situated behind another hotel - so if you seeking uninterrupted views of the sea go elsewhere. I considered the main benefit of staying in the LifeClass hotel to be the access to the 'wellness' services (massage, beauty treatments, sauna etc) available within the complex. Although you paid for the treatments (the swimming pool was included) you only had to throw on a dressing gown and wonder through the connecting tunnel to get to your massage destination. During my four night stay I enjoyed 4 different treatments which were all at a very high standard. Visit the LifeClass website for the full range of different options available and book in advance. I ate in the hotel restaurant twice and enjoyed the healthy buffet on offer very much. The staff are very friendly and considering they don't have all that many UK visitors have good english. Although the concept of 'wellness' is promoted on the LifeClass website and access to an incredible wide range of spa treatments is on offer - ultimately you are a stones throw away from the bars and restaurants of Portoroz. Therefore, if you are seeking a full on detoxing, relaxing, health and wellbeing break - you will need to be disciplined! Many people using hotel Apollo will not bother with the wellness vibe! Walking to Piran is well worth the effort (option to take the bus). I also walked to the salt pans….interesting but if tight on time I wouldn't bother. A lot further to walk then you think! Two supermarkets and a range of shops within walking distance. I considered Hotel Apollo to be good value for money.
"Ok hotel in Portoroz"

This is not one of the best hotels in Portoroz, but it was the only one free when we decided to go. I was pleasantly surprised because the rooms were recently renovated and even though they are basic they are quite big and clean. The staff at reception was nice. Restaurant in the hotel is ok for breakfast, but not more than that.

We arrived late night and due to my confirmation call the Hotel Slovenija managed the dinner in our room with a nice rose. The problem was we got a partially see view room instead I paid (extra!) with a sea view - the view was to their other hotel (Riviera) where the Friday night disco started with very loud music. The receptionist wanted to convince me that was a sea views instead the quick change. They were full reserved thus I fight out another guest room that arrived the next day. AND there is a bay and you can not see the endless horizon. They have pictures on the hotel website and those are photoshopped, FAKE photos. We were deceived beacuse we choose to see the photos. The AC was not exactly an AC, more or less an air cooler. The carpet was not vacuumed since we were there. The second day we were warned if we put anything to the mini bar it will be charged (they said mini bar is belong to the hotel service therefore I have to pay for its use. I asked the receptionist if I use the TV, how much would I pay? She answered to my notice I never find this treatment in other hotel "they were 5 star hotels and this is just 4). You have free parking place close to the hotel - until it’s full. Then you must pay the 24hrs street parking. The gym is at another hotel (Grand Hotel Portoroz) and you can use it until 1pm. After that your will be charged. The beach is close to the hotel, but you have to pay for the umbrella and chairs (the guys here were awesome!). If you go the next beach where a price doubles, they said it is for 5 star Grand Hotel's guests. The bath were 80', bed was comfortable. Breakfasts are the same (exactly same), dinner fish is OK, but won't be my favorite. Here was the only lady who smiled! Guest coming to dinner in T-shirts, purple pants so on. Hotel Slovenija is a "popular" holiday hotel.

We have stayed in Hotel Slovenija with our 14 month old daughter. Hotel was kind enough to provide a baby cot and a room with sea view which was great but due to evening live concerts on the beach every night very inconvinient with a baby. Room is quite simple I would expect nicer decoration for a 4* but very very clean which is very positive. Spa was great with super pools. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is superb!
"Good sleeping quality"

It was our second visit to lifeclass hotels. As there were no rooms at grand, we booked hotel slovenia. The lady that help us with reservation was very kind as we change dates several times and have served our last minute requests. We have two older kids (but not old enough to be in the room alone), so is not always easy to get rooms which are spacious enough for four of us and still get reasonable price. The pools with thermomineral water are great and we enjoyed it. Portoroz is great place to stay... long promenade, beautiful town of Piran is at walking distance... and a lot of fun for kids, but parents as well

- We had reserved a Double Room with Sea View and Balcony (22 sq. M). Instead of it, we're get Economy Double Room With Partial Sea View and Balkony (14 sq. M). We couldn't check the description of room because we're don't have a printed description of the booked room with us. The staff at the reception did not even bother to verify the parameters of our reservation and we're got a lower price level room than the spended money. - The room was very dusty, even the AC was very dirty. Looks like the AC had dusty "beard" inside. - Cleaning ladies didn't clean the room with vacuum cleaners, even there was some trash at the floor and they're didn't remake the bed. - The drain in the shower did not worked properly. - At 7 o'clock at the evening there was no hot water. - The doormen at the hotel entrance are ignored us. We looked at them, they looked at us. And nothing happend. The anniversary of our wedding was ruined.
"Minus 1* Horrible Hotels 70's Style"

Stayed over for three nights. First & Last A friend told us that it's a lovely spot to spend a few days. Portoroz is a lovely place to visit, however these life class hotels are terrible. Old, outdated, lousy food and hardly any service both Riviera And the Slovenia are Soviet style dumps. Enough said I'd rather camp on the beach. Never again Life Class Hotels...what a joke..
"do not go , they stealing things and money from the room!!!!!!!!"

I stayed in Riviera with my wife a couple days in jan.2013. Last day somebody stolen notebook and some money from my room. The key was on the reception, and there was not damaged locks. WHAT CAN BE CONCLUDED ? Hotel stuff reaction was unhelpfull, and very unprofesional. We were alone during police inspection, nobody from hotel was not present. Next morning came somekind of manager, with reaction she doesn't deserve to be waitress.. A few days after that we contact general manager (found phone number on the net) . She speak as real manager, promise somethig about wat's hapened etc.etc. Big shame for lifeclass hotels and Portorose . It never happened in my life , and I travel a lot.
