La Quinta Inn & Suites Abilene Mall - Abilene

Stayed one night at this hotel, on a family spring break driving trip to Santa Fe. Hotel was easy to find, room was clean, breakfast included waffles, eggs, biscuits and a good selection of cold items. Hotel was located near Abilene mall, so several chain restaurant options for dinner with kids. Overall, good value for money.

We came to Abilene to visit our daughter. The location of this hotel was perfect for our needs. The room was clean and comfortable, the beds were good. Staff was friendly and helpful. We will stay here again.

There was dog feces under the desk in my room. Did not like having to walk through people constantly smoking at the front entrance. Hotel staff was ok.

The hotel itself was great. Everything looked brand new - the room was plenty big and the bathroom was very nice. I did run into problems with my reservation. We had a delayed flight which forced me to arrive at the hotel after 1 a.m. We called the hotel about checking in late, but the hotel listed us as a no show and cancelled our reservation. The hotel staff was outstanding, unfortunately their air conditioning wasn't working properly and their maintenance man was MIA. The staff did their best to change our rooms with to a unit with a better working ac unit, but it was worse. By that time it was 11pm and we didn't want to change rooms again. Nice hotel but the walls were paper thin and the people in the next room talked at at normal level and I could hear their conversation almost as though they were in my room.

Front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful...attitude is everything! All other accomodations were top-notch. Was confused by the name....nowhere near the mall. But that sounds better, I guess, than "La Quinta Inn @ Suites Wal Mart." :)

The hotel was clean. Check in was fast. The staff (Olivia) was friendly and cheerful. She was even on her second shift for the day. Great! I'll be staying there again when I travel back to Abilene.

Very clean, very pleasant staff. Breakfast was fine in the morning. Newish construction - no insulation in the walls. Neighbor next door kept us up all night. Neighbor on the other side had TV on the morning, you could hear every word that was broadcast.
