I was surprised how clean and modern the hotel was, the only thing missing was a hotel owned shuttle to Heath row.

This hotel is almost like a dormitory (lots of little rooms). But it is convenient to airport, it's clean, breakfast is good and there is an electric kettle in the rooms for a quick cup of tea in the morning,. I have stayed in six different hotels on Heathrow layovers. This will be the one I return to on my next European adventure.
Location.
Situated in High Wycombe, The George and Dragon Hotel is close to West Wycombe Park. Additional area attractions include Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre and Longridge Activity Centre.

"The George and Dragon West Wycombe"
Really good hotel, very Friendly and clean food was outstanding for a pub would stay here again.
Overall the hospitality and condition,cleanliness of this Inn left much to be desired. We even had to pay a £10 cash deposit if we wanted a remote to watch TV.The one thing I would say though is that the evening food in the restaurant(bar) was absolutely superb. A great place to eat but certainly not to sleep!

I wasn't expecting a great deal from this place when I booked it, I wasn't disappointed.
