It's a very lovely B&B. The owners have a great taste - it's a classic English house with modern elements. Breakfast is excellent.

found was a bit away from town centre where i wanted to be but as only staying 1 night was good value for money and £4 for taxi from town so became no a problem. Room reasonable although could have done with a dusting. What was missing no hand hair dryer visible bedside lights couldnt fathom how to turn on. No information in room, welcome pack and […] rules would have been nice. Wanted to use my computer thought there was connection available but no info. Owners did not live on site so only about for breakfast. Overall would recommend as very nice room decor tastefully done and breakfast great. Read more

The exterior is very charming. The host is gracious and helpful. The room was beautifully decorated, the en suite is spacious and up to the minute. Breakfast was very tasty, We will return and recommend the Bay Tree to anyone who wants a lovely stay in a beautiful setting, with excellent food.

After booking a one night stay in this b&b I emailed to ask if could check in early and asked for a local taxi number so that I could get to a appointment i had planned. The staff were really friendly and attentive. The facilities were great and the rooms very clean and tidy. The breakfast was made to order and really well cooked and presented. I would definitely stay here again. I was staying for a wedding which was in the town centre. It was only a slow, 10 minute walk.

Friendly hosts. Comfort and quality of en-suite room was excellent for a B. & B. establishment. Spotless in bathroom & dust-free in bedroom.(Liked Bay Tree mugs on tea/coffee tray)! Very quiet-didn't realise other guests were staying until entered breakfast room. Quite pleasant to share breakfast table with rest of guests. Super choice of cereals, fruit […] & cooked breakfast if required. Would recommend this B. & B. and will definitely return in future. Some on site parking and fairly close to railway station. Ensuite was a little tatty, but otherwise room, staff and breakfast were lovely. Sociable breakfast table as everyone sits at one large table - good for solo travellers. Not a lot of parking at the B&B - only 3 spaces on front of house, but think it's OK to park in the road.

Very friendly and professional service. The proprietor very helpful, especially as I turned up pretty much unannounced. Well appointed room with great facilities, and very quiet so I had a peaceful and refreshing night's sleep. Very good value too.

I cannot praise Bay Tree House highly enough. The room was immaculately clean and well presented, with excellent facilities - including complementary sparkling water and sparkling elderflower cordial. Newly renovated rooms, with very friendly family living there. I can only recommend to stay there. Only "negative" thing is, that there is not much to see in the area for more than 1-2 days. I felt very comfortable and relaxed at this place.
